00:00Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, alhamdulillahi wabarakatuhu, wasalamu ala
00:19warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, wasalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, wasalamu alaikum
00:35warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, wasalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, wasalamu alaikum
00:48The Prophet once said to the Companions, that religion is the name of goodness.
00:59Those who understand the Arabic language know how strong this statement is.
01:06That religion is only goodness.
01:11The definition of religion is that it is the name of goodness.
01:15When the Companions heard the definition of religion, they became inquisitive.
01:29They wanted to know more about it.
01:31Because they were practical people, they wanted to know more about it.
01:36In general, the Companions would listen and act.
01:41They would not ask too many questions.
01:44They would listen and act.
01:49This was their way.
01:51But since there was an inquisitiveness here, they wanted to know more about it.
01:58Because the definition of religion is being explained.
02:00They asked, for whom is this goodness?
02:06The definition of religion is being explained.
02:10So for whom is this goodness, O Messenger of Allah?
02:13The Prophet said, for Allah and His Messenger.
02:17First for Allah and His Book and His Messenger.
02:21And for the Imams of the Muslims and their community.
02:25There is a famous hadith in Sahih Muslim, Sunan Nisa'i and Sunan Nabi Dawood.
02:31There are six books of hadith.
02:34Most of the books contain this hadith.
02:38That religion is the name of goodness.
02:41With Allah and His Book and His Messenger.
02:45And with the Imams of the Muslims and their community.
02:51The name of goodness with all of them is religion.
02:54So first of all, goodness with Allah.
02:59What is it to do goodness with Allah?
03:03Allah is self-sufficient.
03:06Allah does not need anyone.
03:09He does not need anyone.
03:13He is the Absolute Power.
03:15But for our benefit,
03:18if we do goodness with Allah, it will be beneficial for us.
03:22And that goodness with Allah,
03:24if I want to sum it up in one sentence,
03:27it is the absolute obedience of Allah.
03:31Unconditional obedience.
03:33In any situation,
03:35the obedience of Allah is to do goodness with Allah.
03:39And this is also the etiquette of Allah.
03:43When Allah said in the Quran,
03:48that they did not value Allah as they had the right to value Allah.
03:53We did not respect Allah.
03:55We did not recognize Allah.
03:57He is our Master, our Creator, our Provider, our Lord.
04:02Allah created us.
04:04He raised us in the womb of our mother.
04:07He raised us after birth.
04:09To the extent that a person reaches his full potential.
04:13He reaches his youth.
04:15He receives the blessings of the world, etc.
04:19The whole system inside is running.
04:21The eyes are seeing.
04:22The tongue is speaking.
04:23The ears are listening.
04:24The mind is thinking.
04:25The lungs are breathing.
04:27The kidneys are filtering the blood.
04:30Whatever we are eating,
04:32is being converted into energy.
04:36The waste is coming out.
04:39All the joints are working.
04:43And we keep on talking.
04:45This is a system of Allah.
04:47Not recognizing our Lord is a disrespect to Allah.
04:52It is our duty to value Allah.
04:56To respect Allah.
04:58To gain the knowledge of Allah.
05:00To recognize Allah.
05:03To recognize Allah.
05:07To know that Allah is our Lord.
05:12He is our God.
05:14And to recognize the attributes of Allah.
05:16That Allah is our Lord, our Creator, our Provider.
05:21He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
05:24He is the All-Knowing.
05:26He is the All-Enlightening.
05:28He is the All-Conquering.
05:31He is the All-Compassionate.
05:33He is the All-Capable.
05:35Everything is from Allah.
05:38This is the knowledge of Allah.
05:39To recognize Allah is necessary.
05:42And a person who recognizes all the attributes of Allah,
05:46and gains the knowledge of Allah,
05:48becomes a strange person.
05:50A strength comes within him.
05:53A power comes within him.
05:55An inner power comes within that person.
05:58He does not get scared of the problems of life.
06:06A natural problem is a different thing.
06:10It is a natural thing.
06:12When someone hurts someone,
06:15he will feel pain.
06:17This is a natural thing.
06:19When a person hears a bad thing,
06:23he feels pain.
06:24This is a natural thing.
06:26When an accident happens to a person,
06:29he gets worried.
06:30This is a natural thing.
06:31But does he get so worried that
06:34he becomes a victim of depression?
06:36Does his tension increase so much
06:38that his blood pressure shoots up?
06:41Does he get diabetes?
06:44And so on and so forth.
06:46Whatever difference a person makes
06:48due to the existence of all these things.
06:50A person can be saved from all these things
06:53if he gets the knowledge of Allah.
06:56If he recognizes Allah.
06:58If he recognizes his Lord.
07:00My Lord is the one who will save me.
07:02If a person recognizes his Lord as his Lord,
07:05will he commit corruption?
07:07Will he deceive?
07:09Will he ever lie to someone and take money?
07:13Will he ever take someone's land?
07:15Does he know that Allah is my Lord?
07:17Allah is the one who will save me.
07:19Allah is the one who will give me.
07:21Will he remember the Day of Judgment?
07:24Will he say,
07:25On the Day of Judgment,
07:26people will stand before the Lord of the Universe.
07:32He will give an account.
07:34When he recognizes his Lord,
07:36he will remember standing before his Lord.
07:39He will be a good person in front of God.
07:42In his solitude,
07:43in his isolation,
07:45with people,
07:46in public,
07:47in private.
07:48Whenever he remembers his Lord,
07:52he will not do anything wrong.
07:56He will not do anything that will harm anyone.
08:01Because he is remembering his Lord.
08:04He will pray.
08:06He will ask his Lord.
08:10I just talked about the quality of being Allah's Lord.
08:14By the way, this is the most important quality
08:16that should be remembered.
08:17There are others as well.
08:18But this is also because
08:20we all took a promise from Allah.
08:25Allah asked us,
08:27by making us all souls,
08:28Are you not my Lord?
08:31And we said,
08:32Yes, we are.
08:34And Allah sent us to this world.
08:38In all these things,
08:40we get lost.
08:42We forget our Lord.
08:44We believe in our strength,
08:46but we do not believe in our Lord.
08:50So remember this,
08:51Allah is my Lord.
08:54That is why when Allah introduced himself in the beginning,
08:57in the beginning of the Quran,
08:59All praise is due to Allah,
09:00the Lord of the worlds.
09:01All praise is due to Allah,
09:03the Lord of the worlds.
09:04He is the one who will take care of all the worlds.
09:06This is the first introduction.
09:08And when we go to the grave,
09:10there will be three questions.
09:12The first question is,
09:14Who is your Lord?
09:16So remembering Allah as your Lord
09:18is the most important.
09:20And after that,
09:21of course,
09:22getting to know all the attributes of Allah,
09:26getting to know Allah through all the attributes of Allah.
09:31The person who has it,
09:33and his life becomes according to it,
09:36of course,
09:37the one who gets to know Allah,
09:39the one who gets to know Allah,
09:41his life will automatically become according to it.
09:44Then,
09:45this person is a Jannati.
09:47Of course,
09:48he is a Jannati,
09:49because his life is passing according to the attributes of Allah.
09:53And what a beautiful human being he is.
09:55The one who loves,
09:56the one who loves,
09:57the one who forgives,
09:58the one who forgives,
09:59the one who helps,
10:00the one who earns halal,
10:02the one who has good morals,
10:04the one who speaks well,
10:06the one who has mercy on everyone.
10:09So, this is Allah's right,
10:11and Allah's etiquette,
10:13to get to know Allah.
10:15To get to know Allah.
10:20For a little while,
10:22a person should take out his time
10:24and spend it in getting to know Allah.
10:26Spend it in getting to know Allah.
10:30Read the Quran carefully.
10:32And InshAllah,
10:33about the etiquette of the Quran,
10:35InshAllah,
10:36In the next episode,
10:37we will discuss in detail,
10:39InshAllah.
10:40Because the Prophet,
10:41peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
10:42is saying that,
10:43religion is the name of goodness.
10:44And first of all,
10:45it is for Allah.
10:46And in one narration,
10:47in the second number,
10:48it is the book of Allah.
10:49And goodness is with the book of Allah.
10:50So, we will discuss in detail,
10:51InshAllah,
10:52in the next episode.
10:53But,
10:54a person should read the Quran,
10:56think about it,
10:57reflect upon it.
10:58Allah has introduced himself in a logical way.
11:04See,
11:05who is it,
11:06who changes day and night?
11:08Who is it,
11:09who puts a seed,
11:11in the ground?
11:13And what is a seed?
11:14It is a small,
11:15tiny seed.
11:16And on top of it,
11:17there is the ground.
11:19On top of it,
11:20there is soil.
11:21And that tiny seed,
11:22it bursts.
11:24A small bubble comes out of it.
11:26And tearing the ground,
11:29literally tearing it,
11:31it comes to the surface of the ground.
11:33It is so delicate,
11:34that it can be picked up,
11:36with a slight jerk.
11:38But,
11:39how is it coming out,
11:40tearing the ground?
11:56That seed comes out,
11:57tearing the ground.
11:59It tears the ground.
12:01It comes to the surface of the ground.
12:03Fruits come out of it.
12:06It comes out of it,
12:09fodder comes out of it.
12:10Fertilizer comes out of it.
12:12Fruits come out of it.
12:13Vegetables come out of it.
12:14Everything comes out of it.
12:16If you put a wheat seed,
12:18a wheat plant will come out of it.
12:21And from it,
12:22more wheat seeds will come out,
12:24which you will grind,
12:25and make a dough.
12:27And in it,
12:28whatever is left,
12:29it is useful for the animals.
12:33It is a means for you,
12:35and it is a means for your animals.
12:37This is the existence of Allah.
12:39And by understanding the Quran,
12:41one attains the understanding of Allah.
12:46The whole Quran is full of this,
12:48that think,
12:49contemplate,
12:50use your intellect,
12:51ponder upon the signs of Allah,
12:53and from His signs,
12:54and from His signs,
12:55and from His signs,
12:56again and again,
12:57are signs of Allah.
12:58From the signs of Allah,
12:59from the signs of Allah,
13:00if you look at the signs of Allah,
13:02you should ponder upon them.
13:04And one who ponders upon the signs of Allah,
13:06he recognizes Allah.
13:08And one who recognizes Allah,
13:10he becomes Allah.
13:12He believes in Allah.
13:14He trusts in Allah.
13:16He has faith in Allah.
13:19And having faith in Allah is a great thing.
13:23A person should first try,
13:25make a will,
13:26try,
13:27and then leave it to Allah.
13:30وَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَىٰ اللَّهِ
13:32When you make a will,
13:34a firm will to do something,
13:36then trust in Allah.
13:37Then leave it to Allah.
13:39All will be well.
13:40Everything will be fine.
13:42Keep praying.
13:43It is included in the will to pray.
13:45Make a will,
13:46pray,
13:47and leave it to Allah.
13:48Now think,
13:49a person should make a will,
13:50give his all,
13:52work according to the rules,
13:54which Allah has told him,
13:55and then pray,
13:56and trust in Allah.
13:59How peaceful is the person
14:01who has faith in Allah.
14:03After taking all these reasons,
14:06after taking the right reasons,
14:09then he makes a will,
14:11leaves it to Allah.
14:12This person is at peace.
14:13Then whatever the result is,
14:15he knows that it is from Allah.
14:17If it is good,
14:18then it is fine.
14:19If it is not good,
14:20then it is fine.
14:22He is not so happy
14:24that he gets out of himself
14:26and becomes arrogant.
14:27He is not so sad
14:29that he becomes depressed.
14:31This is the etiquette of Allah.
14:34We should learn to respect Allah.
14:37We should value Allah.
14:39We should recognize Allah.
14:40For this, please,
14:42contemplate,
14:43look at your surroundings,
14:44look at the signs of Allah,
14:45read the Quran,
14:47and ask Allah for help.
14:49This is also very important.
14:50Asking Allah for help,
14:51asking Allah for love,
14:53asking Allah for love,
14:55asking Allah for love,
14:58Believers love Allah very much.
15:04May Allah grant us all
15:05His knowledge,
15:06may Allah grant us
15:07His love,
15:09may He grant us
15:10the sweetness of faith.
15:13InshaAllah,
15:14we will take a short break.
15:15We will be back after the break
15:16with your questions.
15:17Stay tuned.
15:18You can email your questions
15:20to deenfitrat at arydigital.tv
15:23Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
15:25Welcome back.
15:26We will be back after the break
15:27with your questions.
15:28Someone asked,
15:31Can I change my Hajj for my late father?
15:35I have not done my Hajj yet.
15:37I have not done my obligatory Hajj yet.
15:40Look,
15:41remember one principle.
15:43First of all,
15:46from the perspective of the hereafter,
15:47I should have my own self.
15:50And from the perspective of the world,
15:52the other person should come first.
15:54Remember this principle.
15:56In the matter of the world,
15:57we will give precedence to others over ourselves.
16:03Allah has praised some companions
16:06that they give precedence to others over themselves,
16:09even if they are poor themselves,
16:11even if they are poor themselves.
16:15But,
16:16when it comes to one's own self,
16:20Allah has said,
16:22that those who compete with each other
16:24only for the attainment of paradise.
16:32That is,
16:33I should do it first,
16:34I should do it first,
16:35I should do it first,
16:36I should do it first.
16:37There is an opportunity,
16:38for example,
16:39that there is a project,
16:41a welfare project,
16:44and there is an opportunity for me
16:46to own that project myself.
16:48For example,
16:49for example,
16:50and
16:51it is possible that
16:53I do half and he does the other half.
16:55If I can do it,
16:57then I own it all.
16:59Why should I waste this opportunity
17:02from the perspective of the hereafter?
17:04So, here is selfishness,
17:05here is selfishness,
17:06from the perspective of the hereafter.
17:08So, applying this principle,
17:10applying this concept,
17:13first,
17:14we should worry about ourselves.
17:16First, I should do my Hajj.
17:18After that,
17:19I should do my Hajj on behalf of my late father.
17:22Because,
17:23for example,
17:24if I do my Hajj on behalf of my late father,
17:27and I have not done my Hajj yet,
17:29and tomorrow,
17:31God forbid,
17:32if I get sick,
17:33today I am fine,
17:34today I have money,
17:35today I can do everything.
17:37But,
17:38God forbid,
17:39if I cannot do it tomorrow,
17:41for whatever reasons,
17:43because of health,
17:44because of money,
17:45then my duty is to do Hajj.
17:47And that was my duty.
17:49If my father did not do Hajj,
17:51nor did he give me a will
17:53that out of my left over wealth,
17:56out of one third,
17:57someone should do Hajj.
17:59He did not even say this.
18:01So, in any way,
18:02it is not necessary for any child
18:04to do Hajj on behalf of his father.
18:07It is a matter of principle.
18:09Yes, if someone does it,
18:11by volunteering himself,
18:12and rewards him in this way,
18:14towards his father,
18:15then there is a lot of hope from God,
18:17that God willing,
18:18on the Day of Judgment,
18:19he will be rewarded by his father.
18:21There is hope from God.
18:22But this is just hope,
18:23because the principle is not like this.
18:25The principle of Hajj is when,
18:29either he does it himself in his life,
18:32or if he is not able to do it,
18:34for whatever reason,
18:35then he makes a will out of his left over wealth,
18:39that out of one third of my left over wealth,
18:44anyone should go and do Hajj on my behalf.
18:49This is permissible.
18:50It is completely permissible.
18:51He can do it.
18:52Then, technically,
18:53it is written on his behalf.
18:56But if he does not do it himself,
18:58nor does he make a will,
18:59and someone is going on Hajj on his behalf,
19:02and is rewarding him,
19:04then there is hope from God,
19:06that God willing,
19:07on the Day of Judgment,
19:08as I said,
19:09he will be rewarded on his behalf.
19:13But this is only based on God's mercy,
19:17but it is against the principle.
19:20So, one should do Hajj on behalf of someone
19:22who has already done Hajj,
19:24who has already done his duty.
19:26One who has not done his duty,
19:28should do his duty first,
19:31and then do Hajj on behalf of someone.
19:34Allah says,
19:35قُوْ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِكُمْ نَارًا
19:38So, save yourself and your family
19:40from the fire of hell.
19:42First, save yourself,
19:44and then worry about your family.
19:46You see,
19:47all the supplications,
19:48first for yourself,
19:49and then for others.
19:52رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
19:55يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
19:57O Allah, forgive me.
19:59رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ
20:01On the second number,
20:02my parents.
20:04On the third number,
20:05وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
20:07On the Day of Judgment,
20:08forgive me,
20:09my parents,
20:10and all the believers.
20:13So, start with yourself.
20:15Now, you see,
20:17when we go to a graveyard,
20:20we think that
20:21the people who have passed away,
20:24are in the graves,
20:25they may need more than us.
20:27This is what we think.
20:28But, in the same place,
20:29the supplications,
20:30first for yourself,
20:33and then for others.
20:34First for yourself,
20:35and then for others.
20:38يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لَنَا وَلَاكُمْ
20:40O Allah, forgive us,
20:42and may Allah forgive you.
20:44We ask Allah for His forgiveness,
20:47and we ask for His forgiveness for you.
20:50So, this is the principle,
20:51first for yourself,
20:52and then for others.
20:54May Allah enable us
20:55to understand this.
20:57Another question,
20:59someone asked,
21:00I get a lot of whispers,
21:03I get a lot of weird whispers,
21:05I get whispers related to faith,
21:08what should I do?
21:10And I am worried.
21:12See, first of all,
21:13if there are whispers related to faith,
21:17and that person is worried,
21:19then this is a sign of his faith.
21:23Some people came to the Prophet,
21:27and they said,
21:30O Prophet of Allah,
21:32we get such thoughts,
21:34such whispers,
21:35that we prefer burning to ashes,
21:38instead of bringing them into words.
21:42So, the Prophet of Allah said,
21:44does this really happen?
21:46Are you really so worried
21:48because of those whispers?
21:50They said, yes, O Prophet of Allah.
21:51So, the Prophet of Allah said,
21:53this is a sign of pure faith.
21:55This is a sign of your faith
21:57that you are worried.
21:58This is Satan,
21:59Satan puts all kinds of thoughts
22:01and whispers to worry people.
22:04So, I know that this is a matter of worry,
22:09but try to ignore it as much as you can.
22:15If you get a thought,
22:18don't build a building on that thought.
22:21Don't think over and over again.
22:25And,
22:26la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
22:29What is the meaning of this?
22:31la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
22:33This is one of the treasures of heaven,
22:35and it drives away Satan.
22:37What does this mean?
22:39There is no power to do good,
22:42and no power to avoid sin,
22:44except from Allah.
22:46So, in other words,
22:49we are calling to Allah,
22:50that Allah,
22:51you have all the power,
22:53you help me,
22:55you get rid of these satanic whispers from me,
22:58you give me peace,
23:01you give me the sweetness of faith.
23:03So, do la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
23:06those who have a lot of whispers.
23:08But, it is also important
23:10to get used to ignoring the whispers.
23:12That is,
23:13don't think over it again.
23:15Otherwise,
23:16one thought,
23:17second thought,
23:18third thought,
23:19it becomes a thought,
23:21and one goes astray.
23:23And then, Satan also observes.
23:25Satan observes that
23:26if someone is in trouble,
23:28then he troubles him even more.
23:31If he knows that
23:32this person ignores this thought,
23:34la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah,
23:36moves on,
23:38he does not sit on it,
23:40he does not finish himself
23:42because of it,
23:44that is,
23:45he does not finish the work,
23:47then he will also bother a little,
23:49and when he sees that
23:51I am not able to bother him so much,
23:54then he will also leave it after a while.
23:56And, of course,
23:57Allah's help will also come.
23:59And Allah is also our Lord.
24:01Allah is also the creator of Satan.
24:03So, we call upon the creator of Satan
24:06that O Allah,
24:07remove this creature of yours from us.
24:09So, Inshallah,
24:10make arrangements for good prayers.
24:12These are tests.
24:14There are many tests in life.
24:16Some are external tests.
24:18Some are internal tests.
24:20So, these are the internal tests.
24:22May Allah protect us all.
24:24Keep us safe from misguidance.
24:26Grant us the sweetness of faith.
24:28May Allah treat us with goodness.
24:30Inshallah,
24:31we will be back again next week.
