00:00The weather is getting colder, but we still can't forget our favorite, ice cream.
00:05And this is an all-season potluck.
00:07But how do you start a business like this?
00:10To find out, let's watch our Negosyo Tayo.
00:14I am Dran Reven Aliswag, the owner of Sobredes Business here in Lunsod, Marikina.
00:20This business started when our grandparents were still alive, until they passed away.
00:32Our grandparents started this business when they were still alive.
00:37In Batangas, in our province, there are only two businesses.
00:44One is an ice cream shop, and the other is a panadero or a cake shop.
00:48That's how our grandparents started their business.
00:52Before that, they were just a panadero or a cake shop.
00:55Then, when they passed away, my grandparents started their own business.
01:04I studied different courses about ice cream, like gelato.
01:11I learned the good things about gelato, and the basic things like sorbetes,
01:16which we combined to improve the quality of the ice cream,
01:20which is different from the sorbetes that are sold outside.
01:23The process starts in the morning.
01:25You have to be at the market, so you can get the fresh ingredients,
01:29the quality of the milk, and the fruits that you need.
01:33The fruits should be natural, because that's where the ice cream tastes the best.
01:40So far, it's okay.
01:42We're thankful to God, because until now, it's still strong.
01:46We're loved by our fellow organizers in the community,
01:50the parties, and the word of mouth, the people who taste our ice cream.
01:56In ice cream, you really have to be patient.
01:59Because it's a long process, just like us.
02:02We're not yet fully equipped with new technology and equipment,
02:06like the conventional ice cream.
02:09If you don't have enough equipment, then you're more on a lack of budget,
02:14because of the daily products.
02:18What we have now, and what we've saved,
02:23all of this came from the ice cream.
02:25Because of the hardship of our parents,
02:30the deeper side of loving your job, your business,
02:34because that's the number one thing that came to me.
02:36You can't just do business.
02:38You have to have a heart for the business that you do.
02:45This is where I was raised.
02:47This is really my DNA.
02:49My advice to my fellow businessmen,
02:53learn how to be a business person.
02:56Always ask for guidance from the Lord,
02:59so that you can start your business.
03:01You have to put everything you do into it,
03:03so that you can continue to receive blessings.
03:09You only need time and love for business,
03:11so let's go!
