00:00Thousands of passengers were stranded in the Philippines due to Hurricane Pepito.

00:20due to Hurricane Pepito.
00:23That includes truck drivers and cargo helpers.
00:26According to the Philippine Coast Guard,
00:28the most affected regions are Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Southern Tagalog, Central Visayas, and Western Visayas.
00:36Aside from passengers,
00:38almost 2,000 rolling cargos, almost 27 ships, and several motorbikes were also unable to travel.
00:44Meanwhile, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, or DSWD,
00:51continues to distribute food packs to our affected countrymen.
00:53They were able to distribute food packs in the Bicol region that was stranded due to the hurricane.
