00:19It is now clear what is happening in Calacang, Mimaropa in the past few days

00:24according to the Office of the Civil Defense, Mimaropa

00:28The reason for the evacuees to return to evacuation centers

00:32is because of Hurricane Pepito that hit Luzon this weekend.

00:36According to Mark Rembrandt-Victore of OCD Mimaropa,

00:40it is estimated that almost 2,000 and 7,000 families

00:45or 7,615 people were evacuated from the provinces of Romblon, Oriental Mindoro,

00:52Occidental Mindoro, and Marinduque due to the storm surge, landslide, and flooding.

00:58The local governments of the families evacuated also provided assistance.

01:04Victore stated that there was zero casualty due to the storm in the region.
