00:00One final game for week number 11 of his 2024 NFL season. It's a lone star state showdown
00:07Tonight in Dallas Cooper rush in his Cowboys
00:11Welcome in CJ Stroud and his Texans Houston on the road
00:15But of course in state seven and a half point favorite now
00:20Against the Cowboys at the star no need to worry about where the Sun is going to be as this game will kick it
00:27815 p.m. Eastern Time tonight 41 and a half is
00:32That total drs. It's more than a touchdown spread in favor of the road team who is getting a little bit healthier
00:39Welcome back Nico Collins, of course
00:41The story for the Cowboys is Cooper rush starting his second consecutive game for Dallas
00:47Just how competitive do you think this game will be tonight on a Monday? I
00:52Probably think it will be competitive from an aspect of the Houston Texans understand as long as they don't turn the flip over five or
00:58Six times tonight. They'll win this game and probably win it going away. So I do think we have some competitiveness
01:02Here's the tough part about the NFL that sometimes handicappers fall into you see a game
01:07That's so poor the week before and you try to grade it on that like we saw the Denver Broncos get smoked one week
01:13Then almost beat the Chiefs then come back and you saw smoke the Atlanta Falcons
01:16But if we're just going off like a one-game one-off, here's the tough part
01:19Cooper rush was so bad last week. Sometimes you understand like, okay, it's a backup quarterback just didn't play
01:24Well, then you look like you never played football before and that's what you're trying to handicap into this game by saying
01:29What is Cooper rushes ceiling? Is it?
01:3317 completed passes and most of them Dinkin dunks
01:36Is he gonna be able to push the football down the field like I get no vibes that they can even be competitive on offense
01:42Which from a proper perspective ruins half of the football game for me
01:45I'm trying to line up like I think Rico Dowdell can have some room on the ground
01:48But if the Houston Texans understand that we're gonna put eight in a box and you can't throw the football
01:53How effective can your running be and also Cooper rush to make that big play downfield where he couldn't even throw the football five
01:59Yards in the flat to a wide open wide receiver last week. That's the adjustments. I'm trying to make for tonight's game
02:04So for me just to take a contrarian view and say let me take the Cowboys
02:08No way shape or form like this team just flat-out stinks
02:11And if you don't have a quarterback that can just make simple plays
02:14How do you expect to win a football game on a Monday night against a team that's
02:17Angling to win their division and it's clearly a better football team than you just to start the game
02:22Yeah, and Donnie. I think that's really well said what you just stated right there
02:27Based on what we have seen out of Dallas all year
02:30But especially last week with first Cooper rush and then Trey Lance and two quarterbacks combining for less than 50
02:38Total passing yards unless they completely flip the script, which is not anything we have seen out of this Dallas team this year
02:46How can you even take seven and a half points with this team at home if you're looking for something?
02:53Maybe it's the fact that Houston has not been a great cover team this year
02:56They didn't cover last week as a home favorite on Sunday night
03:00Despite somehow some way losing to Detroit with five
03:04Interceptions thrown from Jared Goff then the Texans also threw a bunch of interceptions to in the second half
03:11They looked good in the opening half bad in their last two quarters
03:16They have been a bad second half team each of their past two weeks
03:20Against the New York Jets on a Thursday night last week against Detroit
03:24The Texans are the only team DRS with a winning record in the AFC South and that's good
03:29And Houston has swept the Indianapolis Colts their toughest competition in that division again
03:35That is good
03:36The Texans have not looked overly impressive as we expected them to be here in this sophomore season
03:42With CJ Stroud again four five and one against the spread favored in seven of ten games
03:48Two five and one ATS as a favorite with CJ Stroud
03:53Five nine and one against the spread since the start of last year again
03:58You're not really getting okay. It's only four and a half points
04:02I'll lay it with the Texans on the road against a dreadful Dallas team. It's more than a touchdown on this Monday night
04:09Yeah, it is and it should be a touchdown favorite because we just what is the ceiling for the Cowboys?
04:15Like I didn't look at their team total
04:17But I wouldn't be surprised 13 and a half somewhere in that range like I just yeah
04:21Then them to get two touchdowns being credit
04:24Incredible to me showing that they really can't move the football but understand this if Nico Collins who's expected to come back healthy
04:31They did the right thing by Nico Collins didn't rush him back last week
04:34Give him the extra week before being injured on pro football focus. He's the number one rated wide receiver now
04:39You step into a secondary you can light up which means tank Dell who's trying to be that number one wide receiver can step back
04:44to the number two
04:45John Matthews actually having a decent season now finally getting into the end zone for the first time as NFL career can step in that
04:51Dalton Schultz who used to be a Cowboy player now returning home to play in this game
04:55Mixing should be fine
04:56Like if your go-to guy in this game mix in any time touchdown, you know more than 50 plus yards on the ground
05:01It's gonna put you in that realm of what 60 70 80 yards to get his actual total
05:05That's the way I would play this out
05:07But it's it's such a tough game the grade knowing how poor Dallas was last week at the Cooper Rush
05:12Expecting them to be more efficient this week. I don't see it
05:15We'll talk more about it when our three starts here next live right here on the early line on sports grid
05:21It's the first day of a new week. It is our third and final hour on this Monday on
05:27TEL he is Donnie
05:28I am Ben still a ton to break down and preview for Monday night football
05:33Tonight in Dallas, of course a game that does not have nearly the luster
05:38We probably expected to conclude week number 11 before this year got underway, but we break it down
05:45None, the less we'll have the prop perspective with sports grids Tom Vecchio later on here in this third and final hour
05:52We'll talk some NBA action on this Monday
05:56We'll look at some college hoops. And of course the injury insight and analysis with the pro football doc. Dr
06:02David Chow here up next the RS with a lot of impactful injuries on a Sunday for teams in a hunt down the home stretch
06:10Yeah, look, it's a war of attrition. A lot of times we talk about in the NFL
06:14You're not gonna have that same starting line
06:15If you had a week number one certainly in weeks number 11 and 12, let alone the playoffs here
06:19So some of these teams will have to work themselves around it, which includes the San Francisco 49ers on multiple levels here
06:25So we got some pretty good stuff coming up in our number three and maybe some ways to try and make some money on this
06:32Maybe not exciting pro football game tonight B double-s. I
06:37Mean, it's kind of that right and it feels like when you look at the spread when you look at the total
06:43Is there value to be had? I'm not entirely sure
06:47Maybe the people can tell us something DRS that seven is now seven and a half the total remains at
06:5441 and a Hulk let's hear from the people
06:56What's the best bet for Monday night football the Lone Star State showdown? We do that and fade the public
07:03At
07:11Sports grid on Twitter. What is the best bet for Monday night football the Texans and they touchdown favorite?
07:17It's now tricked up by the hook to seven and a half the Cowboys as a home
07:22Underdog the over of 41 and a half or staying under perhaps with limited quarterback play on
07:29The side of the Cowboys again at sports grid on Twitter
07:33most of the public DRS and who could really fault them saying the Cowboys got no stinking shot more than
07:4055% of the votes say lay it with the Texans
07:43And and rightfully so you take a look even say well Donnie. They were competitive. They lost by six of the 49ers
07:49They lost by six of the Falcons
07:51Yes
07:51At least that was with Dak Prescott for most of those games if not more the only game we're going off of here's a 34 to
07:576-6 spiking at home and also many people will say and rightfully so hey, man, you're a better football team at home
08:03Is that the case with the Dallas Cowboys every time they take home field?
08:06They're terrible. They get smashed by more and more margin. It feels like every single week
08:10So for me, I can't fault the public and I was with them
08:13But also the key numbers right seven as opposed to seven and a half
08:1755% of the people voting for the Texans here in that spot and there's no fault for me
08:22Hey, look if Cooper Rush turns back into the Cooper Rush of a couple years ago
08:25We're Dallas was a better football team around them and can operate from the pocket
08:29That's different and quite frankly, that's sort of what I expected against the Eagles not that they could beat the Eagles but be competent
08:35I even bet Cooper Rush to throw for over 200 yards in that game when as soon as I saw it the first two or
08:39Three passes I knew I was in trouble and even though the Eagles and Jalen Hurts tried to let the Cowboys back in the game
08:44Early the dam just broke because the offense was so bad
08:48So if we have CJ Stroud coming into this game and just say know what I don't have to make heroic plays out here
08:52Just move the stakes and beat them. That's probably what's going to happen
08:5655% of the public I agree. I'm not fading it tonight. I think the Texans by the seven is the right one here
09:02Yeah me as well
09:03I think I actually lean on the under a
09:0541 and a half as I'll discuss that in just a moment a couple of the trends entering tonight again
09:11We said this before the break
09:12Houston with CJ Stroud as its starting quarterback in the last year and a half not great covering numbers as a
09:19Favorite with all the tremendous success they have seen immediately in H town with CJ Stroud as a favorite
09:25Just five nine and one against the spread to four and one ATS as the favorite side in seven of ten games
09:32This year, but Dallas as a dog with Mike McCarthy. It's been awful 12 and 16 against the number
09:40He's a lame-duck head coach. He'll be looking for new employment next year as well
09:45The RS Cowboys did start three and two
09:48three of those five victories all on the road two of the three or three of those five games with their victories on the road
09:55To the three outright as a road underdog, but since that point they've been a dog five more times
10:02They're just two and five
10:04Straight up all in five ATS in those games all losses as an underdog
10:10There hasn't even been anything to prove that the Cowboys can stay competitive
10:14despite what the odds makers might
10:16Anticipate and you thought maybe if there was a touchdown
10:19Spread for the Cowboys to at least keep within margin against their hated rivals the Eagles
10:25Coming in on a four-game win streak trying to make things just a little bit upsetting for Philadelphia
10:32nothing
10:3334 to 6 was that final and because the Cowboys can't score and allow everybody to score against them
10:40Mike Zimmer what an awful debut
10:42It's been as a defensive coordinator in Dallas second worst scoring unit in all of the NFL
10:4828.8 points per game
10:50Maybe that leads to a Houston game
10:52Offensively and going over 41 and a half as the Cowboys did in their first three home games of the year over
10:59Their own four against the spread by the way at home this season
11:02In fact the IRS I kind of lean under because the Texans defensively have been pretty stout
11:07I don't know what Dallas is going to give you
11:09Offensively and Houston is played to the under in seven of nine games this or seven of ten games so far this season
11:16Yeah, and they probably will play to the under again tonight just because it's not their fault
11:20It's going to be the fault of the Dallas Cowboys understand this to CJ Strauss one of the best young quarterbacks in the game
11:25He's getting back any elite wide receiver tonight his best friend here, and you know Nixon has been wonderful already
11:31He's gonna run on the ground
11:32And I know you can't just do this week to week in the NFL because it doesn't really translate long term
11:37But let's understand this we saw the Cowboys play at home against the Philadelphia Eagles and get absolutely bum-rushed
11:43Quarterback look terrible backup quarterback look even worse now you're gonna go back to last week
11:47You know we should have beat the Lions who just won a game by Dan there 50 points yesterday
11:50It was the Houston Texans without their top wide receiver
11:53I know you can't extrapolate here move forward and say well that just means a victory
11:57But I have no hope tonight for the Dallas Cowboys in being efficient on offense
12:03Which is something you need to do to win football games. We'll leave it there if Dak Prescott was on the center all right now
12:08We're making moves. Hey, I think can be effective CD land can be effective
12:11Dak might throw an interception or two, but I'll push the football downfield like what is McCarthy's game plan after what he saw last week
12:17Hey guys. You know we're gonna surprise the Texans Cooper. I need you to throw 45 times this game
12:21No, you're only viable option tonight is to say I don't want to take the Cowboys
12:25But if I take Rico Dowdell over his rushing yards, and he gets near or above them
12:29Maybe they can be competitive tell me this right now Ben if Dowdell rushes for 37 yards tonight
12:35Is this game not like 24 to 3 just being honest like just talking it through?
12:40Yeah, if he rushes for 57 it could still be the case
12:44Don't have two quarterbacks last week for Dallas as they turn things over to Trey Lance
12:49Combined for 49 total passing yards against Philadelphia
12:53It's a business there was that four-game win streak that Dallas went on early in
12:582022 where rush filled in for an injured Dak Prescott and maybe that gives you a little bit of hope they can find that
13:05Cooper rushes passing yards prompt tonight
13:07175 and a half Houston defensively has been pretty stout this year CJ Stroud at 241 and a hook
13:14Maybe you look to Stroud when they bounce back
13:16He's had some of the worst career games of his time in the NFL the past month or so and now he gets back his
13:23Top target in Nico Collins who in the first five games of this year fully healthy for Houston was the NFL's leading receiver
13:30But even there DRS, I'm not sure. I love what the Texans bring into tonight's game as well
13:36Yeah, no, it's a lot of question marks
13:38And it's only as if this was a game on Sunday afternoon Ben, and we're just going at this would just be hey
13:43What do you think about this game?
13:44Thanks Texans win next game here, but it's a prime-time game that people expect us to put out a good effort tonight
13:49There are some keep up
13:50CJ Stroud should be able to throw for maybe two touchdowns tonight
13:53Nixon's probably gonna find his pay dirt if we're getting anything out of Nico Collins and he's as healthy as we believe he should have
13:59Seven catches 70 plus yards and a touchdown tonight. Everything is coming here for me from a Texans perspective
14:05But as you see that graphic like Schultz should have a decent game, but see it
14:09Where do you factor in like Jake Ferguson?
14:10I would say like bad big quarterbacks best friend is a tight end five yards over the middle
14:14Which he couldn't even complete passes to last week
14:17So trying to find things here like a needle in the haystack for the Dallas Cowboys said on positives. I
14:23Think it's a Joe mix tonight
14:25I think Houston will go into Dallas look like a better team get out with a victory
14:30Not really care if they're not covering and they seven and a half point fit live right here on this Monday on the early line
14:37On sports grid to preview the Monday night finale the conclusion of week number 11 with sports grids
14:43Tom Vecchio here for those prop perspectives on this Monday TV, Tom
14:49We appreciate the time as always. Thank you for being here. Of course. I think we're in for a really interesting game tonight
14:56You know, we have the Texans the team that's kind of been bit up and down over the past few weeks
15:00and I think they're in a spot where they kind of the real things in and kind of right the ship a little bit and
15:05Because of that I think we know what we should be getting from like a real-life perspective
15:09But then as we flip to like looking at things from a prop perspective, I'm looking at some of these lines
15:13I'm like man, these lines are super spot-on this weekend. It doesn't provide a lot of opportunity to like
15:19Oh, I think there's a massive edge
15:20I think there's some really interesting angles to take especially should we because we should be expecting Nico Collins back today
15:26I'm ready to get into it
15:29Yeah, let's dive right in Vecchio the warmest seat in the National Football League right now is Mike McCarthy
15:36maybe followed only by Joe Lisi seat because of Tom's excellence in studio on
15:42Thursday night and that is the insight we continue with here on this Monday morning Vecchio
15:48Perhaps it's not the most illustrious game like we could have anticipated
15:52Earlier in the season because of the injuries and the woes to the dreadful Dallas team
15:58Seven-and-a-half point spread now in favor of the Texans total stands at 41 and a half
16:03You understand how the numbers will factor into the game flow. What are you thinking for tonight?
16:08You know, I'm looking at the spread and again for like a real-life perspective
16:13We should be expecting the Texans to cop right the better team
16:16They're getting a little bit healthier with Nico Collins back and especially after the game that they had last Sunday, which was horrible
16:22It was great on the defensive perspective picking off off and then they collapse like what should be the game plan tonight?
16:27The game plan should be like as straightforward as possible. Let's limit the mistakes
16:31let's get back to what we know works and ultimately I think that means a big Joe mixing game and
16:36Considering the lack of offensive potential that the Cowboys have like seeing what Cooper Rush brings which is absolutely nothing
16:42But this is a game that they should be able to cover if they do have these playoff aspirations and you know
16:47Going deeper into the game
16:49So there's a part of me that wants to take a lot of unders on CJ Stroud because they don't want to put the ball
16:54That much they want him to be efficient tonight
16:56I don't expect him to pass for 300 yards because if he's passing for the ready yards as they say time and time again
17:01That means something's probably going wrong for the Texans. And that means the Cowboys are probably in this game
17:08Yeah, by the way, it's like last night. I love Justin Herbert coming into that game, but they got that built up leads so much
17:13I'm like I just need 20 more yards
17:15So you do need a running mate to get some of those big quarterback props which we saw from both guys
17:18Which brings us to the quarterbacks last week Tom two or five and a half Cooper Rush's number
17:24Didn't even come close to that by a couple hundred yards. He's now that Justin Fields territory at
17:30173 and a half CJ Stroud 239 and a half and check this out Cooper Rush
17:34Typically the worst quarterbacks have a half of a number that pops up
17:37But they're usually north of minus 200 or higher Cooper Rush to throw one touchdown pass a paltry
17:43Minus 168 CJ Stroud over one and a half at a minus 114. I know we talked a lot about CJ Stroud the
17:49Expectations for Cooper Rush or rock-bottom. Can he get through these numbers?
17:54he can get through these numbers if he actually starts off looking good and
17:58Maintains that because we do have to factor in that like trade Lance could come in again, right?
18:03Like you know looking back at Cooper Russia game blog over the past few years when he started like yeah
18:08There are some games when he goes for like 220 yards somewhere around there
18:11But that's if they get the offense moving early if there's any point especially starts off slow three and outs
18:17They're just not moving the ball like there's a chance that we see literally every under on Cooper Rush hit under on attempts completions yards
18:24Etc. Etc. We seem for a pick though. They may just bring in trade Lance like that is a very realistic outcome tonight
18:30So I ultimately want no part of going to any Cooper Rush props like I just don't want to do that
18:35I'm not trusting the Cowboys. I barely trust them to begin with I'm not gonna be trusting Cooper Rush
18:39I think CJ Stroud is super interesting because a party wants to take under on his attempts tonight because again
18:44They want to reel things in tonight. They want to get back to what works
18:46That's Joe Mixon having 20 plus areas tonight, but CJ Stroud could be very effective tonight
18:51I should it's not effective but efficient tonight like they want him to move the ball. Let's pick up some first downs
18:55Let's get Nico Collins back involved and that may mean under on his yards under on his attempts because they're not gonna be
19:02You know looking to have him swing the ball after you know last Sunday's performance. I
19:06Don't want to say it's been a sophomore slump so far for CJ Stroud who dazzled everybody in his rookie season
19:12Just hasn't been incredibly as
19:15Efficient we've seen some performances out of Stroud this year that we did not in his rookie
19:21Campaign, so I would agree Vecchio
19:23We've also seen Dallas get absolutely thrashed at home early and often in their four home games
19:30This year CJ Stroud 51 and a half first quarter passing yards prop just to spread for the first half
19:37Three and a hook in favor of the Texans. Thank you. You've already made mention to it
19:42They want CJ Stroud to be efficient, but they want to trust in Joe Mixon
19:46It may be the only reliable offensive player right now for Dallas is I guess
19:52When you look at it Rico Doudle because we can at least trust it when the balls in his hands
19:57He's gonna do something positive. Maybe when you look at the running backs tonight Vecchio, where do you begin? I
20:04Think it has to be Joe Mixon and you know, his touchdown odds are super super juice that I don't necessarily want to be going
20:11There I think there's some ways to work them into an SGP. You think that the Texans will win?
20:16Okay, he'll get a touchdown 70 plus yards like keeping it really really simple
20:19You know when it comes to Rico Dowell what we get from him
20:22I think directly impacts CD lamb Jake Ferguson what we're getting from them because if we see him go over his rushing attempts
20:29We may not be seeing a massive volume of yards from the receiving if if Cooper rush can't pass for a hundred yards
20:35All these players are gonna be hitting their unders
20:37So you have to kind of pick and choose what you expect the Cowboys to do and that's probably not a whole lot of passing
20:43It's probably more on the ground game to them
20:45like they don't
20:47That's also the point I want to make like if this game turns into a shootout. I think the Texans win going away
20:53Now if we look at one market because you do get depressed numbers in a game
20:57We don't think it's a lot of points here
20:58If we remove Joe Mixon from the equation anytime touchdown scoring market and let's focus here on the Dallas Cowboys
21:04Who would that be would it be Dowdle who clearly is going to get the goal line carries if they make it to the goal
21:08Line can CD lamb bust out Ferguson over the middle. Who's your look from a Dallas perspective to score tonight?
21:14It would be Ferguson, right?
21:16I just want to go for the longest odds like it
21:18We never get CD lambs touchdown odds at this point, right?
21:21Like we know that he's often sitting like minus 110 plus 100
21:24But I think Ferguson would be that player just going for the longest odds
21:27You know
21:28They're kind of consistent safe underneath when we're not seeing these super deep shots downfield
21:33Potentially the CD lamb like Ferguson could be that safety net for Cooper rush
21:37Yeah, I think so as well
21:40But Vecchio with the Texans getting Nico Collins back tonight his first time since week five we heard from dr
21:46Chow, he expects Nico Collins to hit the ground running tonight. Where do you think his value lies then in the prop market?
21:53You could go to them for a touchdown, I think that's certainly fine
21:55I like Collins over five and a half receptions are getting a little bit of plus when I plus 108
21:59You know, I did say I like CJ Stroud under attempts
22:02So it's kind of a little bit counterintuitive that Collins would have all these receptions, but Stroud still goes under obviously
22:07You know take for what it will so I do like him over the receptions
22:10I also like him over his longest reception of 25 and a half yards. He 26 yards longest reception in every single game
22:17He still leads the Texans in receiving yards despite missing all those games
22:21He had eight targets or more in the first four games the fifth game
22:24He was injured with only two we see multiple games of him pecking up seven eight nine receptions over a hundred yards
22:29So Nico Collins has the chance to be that number one receiving option and he still is despite missing all that time
22:36so if you want to take over on receptions over on longest over on just yards because maybe he ends with four receptions and
22:42Then he has these monster breakups with this, you know
22:44Ah this massive a dot that he has getting these 25 plus
22:47Receptions and he still goes under his receptions but goes over his yards and then we see Joe Mixon Bob
22:52I think there's a number of different ways but Collins receptions and longest are my two favorites tonight
22:58You saw Joe Mixon there under two and a half receptions at a big game on the ground
23:03Twenty and a half the attempts prop for Mixon a number
23:07He has gone over with at least 24 and four consecutive games
23:11For Houston Beck, you'll even for Nico Collins in a game where he injured his hamstring
23:17He had a 67 yard touchdown catch that led to the injury. He was sensational
23:22Right, that's what we should be seeing from him
23:24Like if he breaks off three four long receptions and still hits the under receptions
23:28That's what there's a different, you know number of different ways to approach it. Like I said for mixing
23:32I like the underwriters his receptions
23:34I just don't expect him to play a big role in the passing game and then his attempts for rushing
23:38I think is super strong the one game that he didn't have like you said four straight was the first game back from injury
23:42Against the Patriots. So I think there's a big Joe mixing game as well
23:46Completely agree Becky. Oh, we appreciate the time as always. Thank you for the proper perspective on this Monday more for Monday night
23:54Monday night football the conclusion of week number 11 around this
23:592024 NFL season and all Texas tussle tonight in Dallas between the Cowboys
24:04Who are looking awful in the Houston Texans trying to get back in the win column after losing a game at home in
24:12primetime last week in which the opposing quarterback through five
24:17Interceptions now Houston is six and four in first place in the AFC South
24:23But they have not looked overly impressive the spread tonight
24:26Drs against the dreadful Dallas team would indicate the Texans should roll
24:31Comfortably lay in seven and a half total at 41 and a hook will Houston do just that
24:37Well Houston head into Big D and blow out the boys tonight. I
24:42Think they win. I think they win in cover tonight
24:44And the reason being is how bad the Cowboys
24:46Expectations on offense are where the one good thing you can say is finally said Rico Dallas are starting running back
24:51No more this Zeke nonsense
24:52He's gonna get the lion's share
24:54But how much is the lion's share tonight because you have to also factor this in
24:57They were so embarrassing last week on offense like even if they get down to touchdowns Ben typically in a game
25:03Let's just say with the Cincinnati Bengals like okay
25:05You know what?
25:05Let's lean on our top wide receivers and our all-world quarterback to get back in this football game Dallas might be so far gone
25:11Which means two touchdowns down in the second half and still trying to establish the running game because that's all they have and can lean
25:16On at this point
25:17That's what I'm trying to factor
25:18But also understand this if this Texans team came in over the past couple weeks if they still had Stefan Diggs Tankdale and also
25:24Nico Collins fully healthy, they would look a lot different here and also keep in mind. They lose that game to the Jets
25:30We say well Jets are bad
25:31I love the Jets in that football game because it was the worst travel spot
25:35You could possibly have for a banged-up Houston Texans team and last week
25:39They should have beat the Lions without Nico Collins in the home building and a lion's team that just
25:43Eviscerated Jacksonville by close to 50 points yesterday
25:47this Texans team is really good at the quarterback position and as a solid enough defense to slow down a bad offense if
25:53Nico Collins as we just talked to doc like and I loved it, too
25:56They kept him out last week knowing he was healthy just to make sure it was extra healthy because the bigger prize is
26:02Winning the division and doing damage in the playoffs if Nico is as good as Nico Collins was before the injury
26:08Why can't you get a hundred yards? I just do wreak havoc on that secondary
26:12I just don't see any positives coming from Dallas other than I think Rico Dowdell is gonna get the lion's share at running back
26:19That's it
26:21It would have to defy
26:23Dallas tonight Cooper rush tonight. It would have to defy every single thing
26:28We have seen this year sometimes of the betting landscape that does happen all the numbers should back Houston and the Texans
26:35tonight when it comes to spread keeping this game under because the Cowboys can't do anything with a team total tonight of
26:4216 and a half points with Cooper rushes props with Rico Dowdell's props with CD lamps
26:47All of that should be dead-unders for the Cowboys
26:51But sometimes things get a little bit wonky in a prime time spot
26:56I am NOT anticipating it thus. I would not bet it if it happens. All right
27:01that's why I wouldn't mind betting the under 41 and a half or Cowboys team total under 16 and a half knowing that I
27:09Believe I have a favorable ticket if it loses it loses, but I'm not I feel uneasy about it
27:15So I will bet this wager down
27:17I do think there are some better wagers DRS and I think that starts in the prop market. Let's compare those quarterbacks tonight
27:25CJ Stroud
27:26241 and a hook the numbers that you alluded to do not be mean to Justin Fields but emblematic of those
27:33Prices 175 and a half. We're not buying into Cooper rush again
27:38If it happens it happens
27:39Are we buying in though to CJ Stroud bouncing back from a bad second half last week in the defeat against Detroit?
27:47And again, we just had Tom on with it's tough because you don't have to do too much
27:51if you're the Texans tonight now if you bet CJ Stroud Dallas Cowboys come out on the first drive seven plays 68 yards in a
27:56Touchdown like you're doing jumping Jackson. Oh my goodness
27:59Like I'm gonna get a game where at least I'm gonna know my quarterback is gonna be throwing from the first quarter all the way
28:03Through to the fourth quarter, but understand this to the tough part about backing Cooper rush
28:08177 and a half is a ridiculously low number in a game
28:11You figure a team is gonna be trailing by because quarterbacks least NFL quarterbacks and they're in the NFL for a reason are supposed to
28:17Be able to dink and dunk their way against, you know
28:19Prevent defenses over the final quarter to pick up an extra 60 70 80 yards, which is like hey, can I get through my 300?
28:25No, you can't get through basically
28:27175 but here's the issue
28:29You could be down 14 to 3 to happen still be in the football game and Dallas goes up
28:33Time to go to the backup quarterback again
28:35Like we saw the last week against the Philadelphia Eagles because it can't be any worse
28:38so you're fighting that uphill battle and you're also talking about a touchdown prop and I have a touchdown for a pro quarterback in his
28:44home building with CD lamb at wide receiver and you go like I don't know if I can take that at minus
28:50168 like if you want a pain bet that's your bet right there because what is your final score?
28:55We just saw the team total here at the Fandul Sportsbook
28:58Which I do think is a little bit high at 16 and a half Ben that factors in two touchdowns in this game
29:02Are you telling me Dallas scoring two rushing touchdowns and Cooper rush? Is it gonna throw one?
29:07So just look at it the odds market. It should make sense to take Cooper rush over a touchdown
29:11But he was so abysmal last week that it's hard to swallow a minus 168 for one touchdown pass in your own building
29:19Yeah
29:20the Texans right now have gone under an 8 of 10 games the defense has been pretty consistent and
29:27Stout Cooper rush should have had a touchdown pass to CD lamb last week if it wasn't for that damn son in
29:34the star inside
29:36AT&T
29:37Stadium DRS, I do believe it's a big Joe mixing game. We gave you some of the numbers
29:41He has gone over 20 and a half rush attempts in four consecutive games with at least 24
29:46In fact in games, he has been fully healthy this season for Houston
29:52He has had at least a hundred and six scrimmage yards in every one of those games
29:57I believe now six fully healthy games this season for Joe Mixon. That's where I am going to back it here
30:04Not last week. Let me I misspoke there only 46 yards on the ground 44 receiving but they still ran it
30:1025 times and you could see there was a clear frustration for this Texans rushing offense not being able to get after Dallas
30:17I'm gonna go over 89 and a half rushing yards for Joe Mixon tonight
30:22Yeah, and even if you wanted to sort of lower that down where it doesn't get near a hundred pen
30:26Maybe take like 60 or 70 yards, but pair it up at a minus 170 price for it touchdowns
30:30I do believe mix and finds pay dirt
30:31But again people sort of struggle with odds minus 170 rather take a guy around the plus 100 number
30:35I agree with so if you think Mixon's gonna get 50 plus yards and a touchdown that probably equates to somewhere around
30:41Plus money at that point. That's the way I would indicate because the goal line carriers are going to be and we know that
30:45It's just a matter of how much do you want to run Nixon in the game that you might be already?
30:50Comfortable by the break and maybe Nico Collins does the damage
30:53It's a lot of ways to think your way through this one. No help to the Dallas Cowboys. Thank you
30:58Nico Collins longest reception already on its way up of 26 and a half
31:02We expect him to be fully healthy and a key component of this Texans offense
31:07Once again the RS enjoy the show tonight. We shall talk on Thursday my friend more on the early line
