00:00All right, so the Bengals, the oddsmakers are still telling us there's a chance they
00:06make the playoffs.
00:07I mean, they have had an incredible season from their quarterback and wide receivers
00:12here.
00:13I mean, this is crazy, Jacob, to think that Joe Burrow would be an MVP candidate if he
00:16was playing on any decent team in the NFL.
00:19The win total already down now to seven and a half, but look at this, to make the playoffs,
00:23I know it's a long shot at plus 440, but for any team with their record to still have these
00:29odds tells you the oddsmakers are not giving up on their season.
00:34I don't think they should give up on their season either.
00:36I know it's been frustrating to watch them, but the Bengals are an unfathomably bad one
00:41in six in these one score games.
00:43If you just can flip a few of those going forward and just win at some of these tight
00:48games, if Evan McPherson makes those field goals against the Chargers, they have a chance
00:52to win.
00:53That's been a story of their season as they're kicking struggles, but this offense is so
00:56explosive with Joe Burrow, 100% agreed to be an MVP candidate.
01:01I even, I put a little bit of money down on him at 20 to one odds to win it just because
01:05I think if he can somehow will the Bengals into the playoffs, his numbers are going to
01:10stack up with the best quarterbacks in the league.
01:12They already do, but I look at their schedule down the second half of the stretch.
01:16Yeah, they have some divisional games, but they don't have a lot of tough, tough opponents
01:20on the schedule.
01:21Now they're probably going to have to win six games of those seven to really have a
01:25shot at the playoffs.
01:26And even then it's iffy, but if any team can go on this kind of heater and hot run, I think
01:32the Bengals can do it because they have so much offensive talent and Lou Anna remote,
01:36despite the defensive struggles is a really good coordinator and it's going to figure
01:39something out on that side of the ball.
01:41They just got to get a little healthier.
01:43They keep losing defensive backs and defensive tackles, and that is not, not a good way to
01:48come back in a season where you're already kind of behind the eight ball.
01:55Yeah.
