00:00The government continues to provide assistance to the families affected by the Pipito earthquake in the province of Nueva Vizcaya.

00:21The local and national government will provide assistance to the families of the landslides victims in the town of Baguio, Nueva Vizcaya.

00:28According to Webster Balauing, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer,

00:33the Provincial Local Government Unit is ready to provide assistance to the families of the landslides victims

00:39to alleviate their situation because of the impact of the Super Typhoon Pipito in the province.

00:45Balauing said that they are just waiting for the endorsement of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of Ambagyo

00:52to the PLGU so that they are ready to provide assistance to the landslides victims.

00:57Balauing also added that the DLGU and MLGU in Ambagyo are currently providing assistance to the victims

01:04and it will be provided by the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the PLGU.

01:10Ten people were hit by landslides in a mountainous community in Sitio Huk-Huk, Barangay Labang in the town of Ambagyo

01:18because of the impact of the Super Typhoon Pipito last night, November 17, in the province.

01:23Seven people were killed while three were rescued because of the hard rescue efforts of the government and residents

01:31as well as the local and national government agencies.

01:35At the moment, the victims of the landslides are sleeping in the said area.

01:42The victims were identified as Angel, 18 years old, Balagan, 16 years old, Maxel, 13 years old,

01:48Jonafait Kalanji, 8 years old, Oscar, 30 years old, Nico, 14 years old, and J. Martin Dan, 12 years old.

01:56The victims were identified as Celo, 40 years old, Telma, 40 years old, and Manik Kalanji, four years old.

02:05Because of the following typhoons, the land in the mountains of Nueva Vizcaya became soft.

02:10The reason is to prevent the said landslides and also to prevent floods in the province.
