00:00The contribution of Top Empowerers Institute, being the global certifiers of the Best Practices HR,
00:10is to provide companies with information and data to improve their practices.
00:18We position ourselves more and more as Insight Providers,
00:21so we accompany companies in improving based on our certification process.
00:28Today we are here to talk about Generation Z,
00:31because a few weeks ago we elaborated a global report
00:36in which we interviewed more than 17,000 representatives of Generation Z worldwide.
00:45Today we want to talk about the false myths that are sometimes associated with this generation.
00:52We will mainly touch on three false myths.
00:55First, Generation Z is a generation that is defined as lazy,
01:00but we can say that the evidence we have is that it is a generation that believes
01:07that its effort can be rewarded and therefore believes in having long-term careers
01:13with an important career advancement.
01:16The second point is related to the fact that,
01:19not giving importance to the creation of ties in the workplace,
01:23but also in this case we see that the evidence is completely different,
01:26because they are increasingly asking for an empathic and very close leadership
01:32that listens to their needs.
01:34Because one of the key aspects or key needs that Generation Z has is to be listened to.
01:40And the third myth is to be absolutely positive towards everything that is the technological revolution,
01:46artificial intelligence.
01:47Also in this case we see that there is obviously a positivity,
01:51they are digital natives,
01:52but there is also an attention to think that not necessarily artificial intelligence
01:57will have benefits compared to their career advancement and their future development.
02:02So these are the trends that we will present today.
02:05It is a pleasure to be here because we find many HR professionals
02:10who share these themes and these trends.
