00:28Carlson is arguing that part of his contract is no longer valid following his firing.
00:33Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, tweeted after the announcement,
00:37saying a formal deal with the ex-Fox News host had yet to be signed.
00:41Musk also tweeted at Don Lemon, a CNN host who was also fired from his network recently,
00:47asking if he would be interested in hosting his own show on the social media platform.
00:51At the time of publishing this video, Lemon had yet to respond.
