00:00I just remember looking at myself in the mirror and saying
00:02Teri a** hai na
00:04There was media and mobs under my building constantly and
00:07it required a lot of strength to even make it to the investigation
00:11because I was worried that something would happen on the way
00:14I knew going forward I would never be the same person again
00:22How do you deal when you're going through something the way you did?
00:27Okay, so there is billions of galaxies
00:31Yeah
00:32Then there's one Milky Way in that
00:34Then in Milky Way, like according to NASA, there is like some 3,619 solar systems
00:42out of which one solar system is ours
00:45out of which there are nine planets
00:47in which there's one Earth
00:49On Earth, there are seven continents
00:52In seven continents, my country is one country
00:55In that, my state is one state and my city is one state
00:59I'm so small
01:01So how can my problem be that big?
01:03Another thing that I realised when I was in jail actually
01:08was that everyone's gonna die
01:12I was like, okay, everyone's gonna die
01:15I'm like, these people who are saying bad things about you are gonna die
01:19The people who love you are gonna die
01:21You're gonna die
01:23Your friends are gonna die
01:24We're all gonna die
01:25How was it like when you were inside jail?
01:31Jail is actually a very different world
01:34because there's no society in jail
01:38There is a weird sense of equality
01:42Everyone is like a number
01:45Like they're not a person
01:46You're a UT number when you're in an under trial prison
01:48So there's no phone
01:50There's no contact with the outside world
01:53And so it's a very, sort of, in a strange world
01:57It's a very evolved crowd
02:00Yeah
02:02Because it's just human emotion at its basic rawest
02:06And it's survival, right?
02:07You have to survive each day
02:09Each day feels like a year
02:11Like it takes a long time for a day to finish
02:14because you're literally doing nothing
02:16And there is a deep, like, depression and a darkness that I obviously experienced
02:20Like there was a darkness that was there
02:24And like you're seeing your mind
02:25I was able to see, I'm like, oh, this is going bad
02:28Like you're really thinking negative thoughts now
02:30But I did have a moment after that darkness
02:34where I was able to find light
02:36When I realized that, you know, hey, this is also an experience in my life
02:41And it's probably never going to come back again
02:45And these are people who I'm probably never going to have the chance to meet
02:50And some of them have no hope in their life
02:52They have nobody on the outside fighting for them
02:54They have no means to get legal support
02:57And they have given up
02:59I was like, why don't I give them a little bit of me?
03:02Like, why don't I teach them yoga?
03:04Maybe do like dance classes for them?
03:06Like whatever I can do
03:08So I started doing that
03:09And I started interacting with the children a lot
03:12and teaching them some poems and stuff like that
03:14And that became very enriching for me
03:18And that became very, very powerful
03:21And it changed my perspective on everything
03:24Like, you know, like I knew going forward
03:27I would never be the same person again
03:29It gave me a lot of strength
03:30And for some reason, having found that space inside me
03:34I feel really, what's the word?
03:39Really peaceful, that I know
03:41It doesn't matter if there's anyone in my life
03:44Or nobody in my life who supports me or who loves me
03:48I love myself
03:49And I am there for myself
03:52And I am my own best friend
03:53And we are good
03:55Obviously, like even before I went in
03:57Situation was really tough for me
04:00There were investigations every day
04:01There was media and mobs under my building constantly
04:04And it required a lot of strength to even make it to the investigation
04:09Because I was worried that something would happen on the way
04:13You know, the way the mobs would chase and stuff like that
04:16So at times I would have to
04:18I started going to myself in the mirror before I had to leave the house
04:22And talking to myself
04:24And I remember saying this to myself
04:26I remember looking at myself in the mirror and saying
04:29Teri **** hai na?
04:31And it almost felt like the mirror said, yes
04:35It's like, tension mat le, main hoon tere saath
04:39Chal
04:40And you know, just that much
04:42It just, oof, it just gave me this power
04:46Like, you know what?
04:47Forget everyone else
04:49You got you, you got your own back
04:50I have me
