Kings Cross station evacuated passengers from the station for 15 minutes, TFL has now confirmed.

00:00Commuters were forced to evacuate from King's Cross St Pancras station at around 9am on
00:07November 27th. Transport for London announced the closure after photos and videos of commuters
00:13leaving the station were shared over social media. An announcement was heard over speakers
00:19inside the station telling passengers that due to a reported emergency, all passengers
00:24would need to leave the station immediately. In an update, TfL confirmed that the station
00:29had closed to prevent overcrowding and it had reopened roughly 15 minutes after it shut.
00:35It is now operating normally. As well as the evacuation at St Pancras station,
00:42the Circle and Hammersmith and City lines were also hit by long delays due to a power
00:46supply problem. There were also severe delays on the High Street, Kensington and Edgware
00:51road due to a fire alert and minor delays on the Metropolitan line between Moor Park
00:56and Amersham due to train cancellations.
