00:25You want your team to win and today's no exception.
00:28Let me say this real quick because we were talking about this that night.
00:31I was saying, after the game, I was like, I'm not going to let anybody steal my joy.
00:35And let alone the players should not be getting their joy stolen as well because they're competitors.
00:40And the way I looked at it is anybody consumed in November about the draft is like mad that
00:46your team won only because your fantasy player didn't excel.
00:51You didn't get what you wanted out of your fantasy guy so you're mad and your team won.
00:55And team building is a sport.
00:57I'm all for team building but drafting is a strategy and so you're consumed with strategy
01:05over the game itself.
01:06And I'm not even talking about can they win out.
01:08I'm talking about, this is what I broke that game down to, I'm talking about the big surprising
01:12win of Washington.
01:13I'm looking for who's the dog and who's making business decisions.
01:18And with this squad right now, the way this team is built, and I said it's built wrong,
01:21you got a core of veterans whose assignment for the last couple of years, get out of the
01:26first round.
01:27Get out of the coaching staff.
01:28Get out of the first round.
01:29The guys they gave them and added to this core of veterans are rookies.
01:34So you're looking at on the job training and it's a mismatch and a train wreck throwing
01:39in the injuries.
01:40With that being said, to be concise, what I'm looking for, and they have a chance to
01:45actually win some games here because these rookies are actually getting better.
01:50So even if you have a new coaching staff, you want to know who you got.
01:55So if they win some games along the way, I'm not mad at it.
01:58Because guess what?
01:59In the draft, you could draft Trey Lance number three overall, San Francisco, and it don't
02:04work out.
02:05You could draft Micah Parsons where the Cowboys did and the fan base is initially mad because
02:10it wasn't an offensive tackle or a cornerback.
02:13I have seen it all.
02:15So if you want to look to the future so you can say, I want to evaluate talent right now,
02:22I'm not going to let you steal my joy.
02:24I'm looking at talent currently playing to decide how I build this team going forward.
