00:00NEDA assured that our economy is not affected by the noise of politics.
00:04In fact, businesses are also affected.
00:07Instead of what's happening, many investors inside and outside the country want to get rich in the Philippines.
00:14This is Clayzel Pardilian of PTV in Balitang Pampansa.
00:19Rennie Lynn's food stores will add more spaghetti and rice in the upcoming December.
00:26Aside from the increasing number of customers during the holiday season,
00:30she also noticed the food that's being broadcasted on their television.
00:34Like the news about the president, they will get rich, so they will have more extras.
00:45Despite the increasing number of issues in politics,
00:48the National Economic and Development Authority believes that
00:51it will not have a negative effect on our economy.
00:57At least yesterday, it's business as usual for us.
01:02And I don't think that these political noises would have any impact on the economy.
01:14What is important is that our economic policies,
01:19our economic policy directions are sound and sustained.
01:28The administration of President Fernando R. Marcos Jr. is focused on implementing the Philippine Development Plan.
01:36This includes programs that will benefit the lives of Filipinos,
01:41such as food security,
01:44building more infrastructure,
01:47and improving the economic climate change
01:50so that more investors can invest and create jobs.
01:55Under the leadership of President Marcos,
01:59along with economic managers,
02:01led by the Senate and Congress,
02:03the Executive Board of the Philippine Government
02:06will provide sufficient funds for the government's primary programs.
02:10It is focused on the budget for 2025
02:16and the need to prioritize the funding of the high priority projects of this administration.
02:24The Department of Trade and Industry is also positive
02:28that more businessmen will move to the Philippines.
02:33This is in line with the rise of the S&P Global Ratings
02:37in the economic outlook of the Philippines from the past stable.
02:41This means more confidence in the ability of the government and the new sector in the Philippines
02:47to pay its debt.
02:49This high credit rating will really encourage a lot of confidence
02:54for the international investors to come into our country.
02:57And so far, there's a lot of interest in our country.
