Nel corso della giornata conclusiva, si è tenuto il convegno ‘Ripensare la professione infermieristica, Ripensare il servizio sanitario nazionale’, organizzato da Fnopi, la Federazione Nazionale Ordini Professioni Infermieristiche.

01:00Italy is a country that is aging in an important way,
01:03we are not aging in good health,
01:05the social and sanitary needs are increasingly complex, increasingly articulated
01:10and therefore there is a need for a highly qualified and specialized nursing component
01:15to make an important contribution both in this response to the needs of citizens
01:20and within the professional team.
01:22We have focused on three master's degrees,
01:25which are the ones that collect most of the assistance settings at the moment
01:30and above all they are the most strategic,
01:32therefore the whole issue of territorial and primary care,
01:35the issue of neonatal and pediatric nursing,
01:38given also the great demographic problem we have,
01:41and the issue of emergency.
01:43Of fundamental importance to support the figure of the nurse
01:46also that of the nursing assistant.
01:49The figure of the nursing assistant is a figure of health care workers
01:54who can complete the assistance section,
01:57dismantling it,
01:59then the nurse assistant and then the nurse professional
02:03who remains responsible for the nursing assistant.
02:06The issue of the lack of nurses is an international and national issue,
02:11it also concerns Veneto.
02:13We approved last month of August an extraordinary plan
02:17to address the shortage of nursing staff in particular.
02:22The idea is that the nurse assistant can occupy an area of basic care,
02:29currently managed directly by the nurse,
02:33to free nurse time for skills more appropriate to the figure of the nurse,
02:38therefore high skills of care, education, empowerment,
02:44support of the caregiver.
