00:00The Chinese Coast Guard or CCG's ships have repeatedly made dangerous maneuvers

00:06while the Philippine Coast Guard was heading to the Ruzul Reef

00:09to rescue fishermen who were being harassed by the People's Liberation Army of China.

00:15When the PCG arrived at the Ruzul Reef,

00:17there were not immediately 18 boats of Filipino fishermen

00:22because the CCG was on guard.

00:25According to the PCG, there was also an incident

00:28where two boats sank due to bad weather,

00:32but the surrounding CCG did not help.

00:35The CCG often asked for the last fish

00:39of the Filipino fishermen at the Ruzul Reef.

00:42When the fishermen were able to board the PCG's ship,

00:45they were able to receive an early Christmas from the Philippine Coast Guard.

00:51To the Commandant,

00:52the moment we learned that there were Filipino fishermen

00:56here at the Ruzul Reef,

00:58we will ensure that we are going to maintain our presence there

01:02to ensure the safety and security of our Filipino fishermen.

01:06They are more confident that they can be able to freely fish

01:09and the Chinese are going to hesitate harassing our Filipino fishermen

01:15if there is a Philippine Coast Guard vessel

01:17or any Philippine maritime forces here in the West Philippine Sea.
