00:15Some congressmen believe that Vice President Sara Duterte and other officials of the Office of the Vice President and Department of Education

00:27were the ones who led the investigation.

00:30That is if the irregularities mentioned in the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability

00:38regarding the misuse of funds of the so-called offices can be proven.

00:43In the hearing of the committee yesterday, congressmen laid the possible crimes that happened in OVP and DepEd.

00:51These are plunder, falsification, technical malversation, bribery, and perjury.

00:57Let me remind the public of what is at stake here.

01:02It would constitute graft and corruption if public funds are misused or misappropriated,

01:08or worse, if funds are diverted to personal use or benefit.

01:13If you are asked where the funds went and you cannot answer, the law presumes that you stole them.

01:21As of now, two impeachment complaints have been filed in the House of Representatives against the Vice President.

01:27The issues raised in the hearings have been resolved.

01:30But some congressmen doubt that this will be discussed this year,

01:34especially since they are studying the contents of the complaints.

01:39Well, let's see. I personally do not want to preempt. I haven't read the complaint.

01:44Right from the very beginning, I am consistent that if there is a ground, there really is.

01:53But my concern is the timing.

01:58In an interview, the Vice President said that impeachment complaints are welcome to him
