00:20Some evacuees in Baguio City were allowed to return to their homes that were evacuated following the eruption of Volcano Ono on Monday.
00:27According to Ms. Andrea Juhilia, Information Officer of the Baguio City Incident Management Team,
00:32since yesterday, some evacuees were allowed to return home even though they are far from the Danger Zone of the volcano and were still affected by the eruption.
00:41Juhilia said that more than 500 families from Baguio City were evacuated following the eruption of Kalaon Volcano.
00:49Currently, there are eight families or 22 individuals living in Baguio City Coliseum.
00:56111 families are in the elementary school, 12 families are in the Regional Evacuation Center and 100 people are in the above gym.
01:06Juhilia added that relief goods for evacuees, including food and water, are not enough.
01:14According to the Information Officer, there is no more ash fall in the population of the city.
01:20The local government of Maldives gave clean drinking water to evacuees in La Castellana, which was affected by the eruption of Kalaon Volcano.
01:30Its purpose is to ensure the safety and well-being of the affected families by responding to the need for clean drinking water from the residents.
01:41Meanwhile, the local government of Kalaon City strictly prohibits parties, gatherings and social gatherings inside the six-kilometer Permanent Danger Zone while Kalaon Volcano is under Alert Level 3.
