00:00I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan, in the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
00:07All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
00:12Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help.
00:18Thee alone do we implore for help.
00:23I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan, in the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
00:28All praise is due to Allah, who guided us to this.
00:31And we would not have been guided had Allah not guided us.
00:37All praises are due to Allah, who guided us to this.
00:42And if Allah does not guide us, we will not be able to do anything.
00:48All praises are due to the Beloved of Allah, the Master of the Prophets, the Imam of the Prophets,
00:54the Master of the Universe, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
01:00Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
01:03This is a special edition of ARYQ-TV about the religious training and reformation of women,
01:10whose title is Religion and Women.
01:15Our basic objective is to enlighten our women, our mothers, our sisters, our daughters, our daughters
01:23with the manifestation of the religion of Islam, so that the practice of Shariat-e-Mutahara can be implemented in every home.
01:32Those who follow us are all sisters.
01:35Those viewers know that we are talking about the commandments of the deceased.
01:39Sir, the fact is that our magnificent religion gives such commandments in life for mankind,
01:51in which man's dignity, man's protocol is being made.
01:56And then when he passes away, that is, he moves from this world to another world,
02:05even then, that is, Shariat-e-Mutahara gives the commandments of burial and cremation for the deceased.
02:15That is, even in that world, when he passes away, he is with the protocol.
02:20We are talking about this.
02:22Okay, one more aspect is that when sisters go to their homes for mourning,
02:28then what should be considered, that is, how should the mourning be done properly?
02:33When you are going to someone's house for condolence, that is, you are going to express your grief,
02:39then what do you have to learn?
02:41And those who have passed away, those who have a loved one in their house,
02:45that is, everyone has to know about their death.
02:47There is no human being and the material is a hundred years old, not a momentary news,
02:51but we all have to prepare for death.
02:54And in this regard, we are getting the opportunity to present this series.
02:59And naturally, if grief is being expressed, then that is good, that is okay.
03:03But to make grief, to pretend, and to create an atmosphere of crying.
03:09Today, we would also like to have a little correctional conversation in this regard.
03:13Everyone will be present with us today, God willing.
03:15Scholars are present with us on the set.
03:19So let's introduce them too.
03:21Mashallah, you Mashallah.
03:24Both of them speak with great eloquence and eloquence.
03:30And there is a happy statement, there is a happy conversation.
03:33They are enthusiastic about serving the religion.
03:36Alima Safa Fatima and Alima Sadafnaz.
03:40Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
03:43Walaikumussalam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
03:44Are both of you well?
03:45Alhamdulillah.
03:46Mashallah.
03:47And you welcome both of them.
03:49And as we are talking about the commandments of the deceased.
03:53Alima Safa Fatima, I would like to start the conversation with you.
03:56Namaz-e-janaza.
03:58What is the commandment of this, sister?
04:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
04:02See, one is Fardh-e-Ayn and the other is Fardh-e-Kifaya.
04:06There are two types of Fardh.
04:07One is Fardh-e-Ayn and the other is Fardh-e-Kifaya.
04:09The meaning of Fardh-e-Ayn is that the intelligent Muslim
04:14has to fulfill this Fardh.
04:17Every intelligent Muslim will fulfill this Fardh.
04:20It is his responsibility to fulfill it.
04:22For example, our five daily prayers.
04:25It is a Fardh for every person, whether he is intelligent,
04:27mature or a Muslim.
04:29So, whoever has these three conditions,
04:32every person has to fulfill his five daily prayers
04:35and other Fardh-e-Ayn commandments.
04:39But Fardh-e-Kifaya means that if a few people
04:43or even one person fulfills that Fardh,
04:47then all the responsibilities are fulfilled.
04:51For example, Namaaz-e-Janaza.
04:53If a few people perform Namaaz-e-Janaza in an area,
04:58then all the responsibilities are fulfilled.
05:03And if even one person performs Namaaz-e-Janaza
05:08and no one else is available there,
05:11then the Fardh-e-Kifaya of Namaaz-e-Janaza will be fulfilled.
05:16This means that Namaaz-e-Janaza is Fardh-e-Kifaya.
05:19And Fardh-e-Kifaya means that if a few people perform Namaaz-e-Janaza,
05:23then all the responsibilities are fulfilled.
05:26Now, there are some conditions for performing Namaaz-e-Janaza.
05:30So, for those who are performing Namaaz-e-Janaza,
05:32the basic conditions are the same as that of regular Namaaz-e-Janaza.
05:35For example, Qibla, purification of the body,
05:38purification of the place, etc.
05:40And if you talk about Namaaz-e-Janaza,
05:43which is being performed,
05:45that is, the deceased person who is present in front of you,
05:47then there are a few conditions for that as well,
05:49which are necessary to perform Namaaz-e-Janaza.
05:52The first thing is that one should be a Muslim,
05:55because there is no concept of Namaaz-e-Janaza on the non-believers.
05:58Apart from this, the presence of the deceased person in front of the Imam
06:04and the presence of the Namaaz-e-Janaza is necessary for Namaaz-e-Janaza.
06:08In this regard, it was also discussed that
06:10either the body of the deceased person is present,
06:13or more than half of his body is present,
06:16then only the death will be applied on him.
06:19If there is an accidental death,
06:21then only the death will be applied on him,
06:23and Namaaz-e-Janaza will be performed on him.
06:25Apart from this, his purification is also necessary,
06:28just like the one who performs Namaaz-e-Janaza.
06:31Similarly, the one who has been brought for Namaaz-e-Janaza,
06:34the body of the deceased person also needs to be purified.
06:37That is, the Namaaz-e-Janaza will be performed
06:39only after giving him the body of the deceased person.
06:42We have also discussed that, you can watch the previous program.
06:45The rest is the issue of women.
06:47At times, when Namaaz-e-Janaza is performed in the harem,
06:50then the women join in after performing their obligatory Namaaz.
06:54But in general, this is the concept in our homes,
06:57and it is arranged in such a way that
06:59Namaaz-e-Janaza is performed outside the mosque,
07:01nearby or somewhere else.
07:03So, the women are at home.
07:05Now, they will not arrange Namaaz-e-Janaza themselves at home.
07:09Rather, what is the command for them is that
07:12they should perform Namaaz-e-Janaza for the sake of Allah,
07:16and the reward for it should reach the deceased person.
07:18This is the best way.
07:20The rest is to take care of the principles and rules of Namaaz-e-Janaza.
07:23It is also important to take care of the conditions.
07:25Sir, it is important to take care of the principles, rules and conditions of Namaaz-e-Janaza.
07:31We will discuss this further.
07:33And what should be the method of Namaaz-e-Janaza?
07:37With this question, Alima Sadafnaz, I will continue with you.
07:41As we have heard, Namaaz-e-Janaza is an obligatory prayer.
07:48Actually, Namaaz-e-Janaza is a form of prayer.
07:54And it is different from other Namaaz-e-Janaza.
07:57For example, when Imam Sahib leads Namaaz-e-Janaza,
08:03there are two obligations in Namaaz-e-Janaza.
08:08There are more obligations in other Namaaz-e-Janaza,
08:11but Namaaz-e-Janaza has two obligations.
08:14The first obligation is to say four Takbeerat,
08:18to say Allah-u-Akbar four times,
08:20and to say Takbeerat four times.
08:23And the second obligation is Qiyam.
08:27That is, the Namaaz will be performed while standing,
08:30and there will be no Ruku and Sujood.
08:32So, in this way, this Namaaz is different from other Namaaz-e-Janaza.
08:36The four Takbeerat will be performed,
08:39and Allah-u-Akbar will be said four times.
08:41So, in these four Takbeerat, the first Takbeerat,
08:44like in other Namaaz-e-Janaza, there is Takbeerat-e-Tahrima,
08:46in the same way, with a loud voice,
08:48the hands will be raised to the ears,
08:50and in this way, Allah-u-Akbar will be said and performed.
08:53And Imam Sahib, after the first Takbeerat,
08:59will recite Sana, and will recite Allah-u-Akbar's Hamd-o-Sana,
09:02and this Hamd-o-Sana is Sunnat-e-Muqada.
09:05After the second Takbeerat,
09:07after Allah-u-Akbar's Hamd-o-Sana,
09:09we will recite Durood-e-Paag on the Beloved Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
09:12And after the third Takbeerat,
09:14we will say Dua-e-Maghfirat for the deceased, for ourselves, and for other Muslims.
09:19And after the fourth Takbeerat, we will say Salaam.
09:22So, the first Takbeerat will be with a loud voice,
09:25with a loud voice, with the hands raised to the ears,
09:28and after the first Takbeerat,
09:30we will tie our hands under the naaf,
09:32and say Allah-u-Akbar,
09:34and this Hamd-o-Sana that we do in Salat,
09:36Subhanak Allahumma Wabihamdika Watabarakasmuka Wata'ala Jadduka
09:41After this, Jalla Sana'uka,
09:43these words will be recited,
09:45these words are additional,
09:47and then, Wala Ilaha Ghayru.
09:49This is done.
09:50Then, after the second Takbeerat,
09:52Durood-e-Paak will be recited to the Beloved Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
09:55So, it is better and superior
09:57that the Durood-e-Paak that is recited in Salat,
09:59Durood-e-Ibrahim, should be recited.
10:01And if they do not recite it,
10:03if anyone recites Durood-e-Paak, then this recitation is also permissible.
10:06And after the third Takbeerat,
10:08after the third Takbeerat,
10:10in which we will not raise our hands in the third Takbeerat,
10:12we will not raise our hands in the second Takbeerat as well.
10:14So, after the third Takbeerat,
10:15the Dua for the deceased,
10:17and the Dua for all Muslims,
10:19for ourselves as well,
10:21we should try to recite Dua-e-Masoor,
10:24the Dua's that have been recited in the Quran and Sunnah,
10:26those Dua's should be recited,
10:28and they should be related to the matters of the hereafter.
10:30Most of the Dua's that are recited in our religion,
10:32are like this,
10:33Allahumma Akfir li hayyina wa mayyitina wa shahidina wa ghaibina
10:37wa zakarina wa unsaana
10:39The Dua's like this can also be recited.
10:42Other Dua's that have been recited,
10:44those Dua's can also be recited.
10:45Now, the fourth Takbeerat,
10:47that will also be done without raising our hands.
10:49After the fourth Takbeerat,
10:50we will raise our hands,
10:51and the Salam will be recited,
10:52and the intention in the Salam,
10:54will be the intention of our deceased,
10:56and the intention of our angels,
10:59and the intention of the people on the right and left.
11:01In this way, the funeral prayer will be arranged.
11:04Thank you very much,
11:05Allama Sadafnaz.
11:06As I mentioned in the previous program,
11:09that our Sheikh, our mentor,
11:11our Ustaz,
11:12your health was unwell,
11:14and Alhamdulillah,
11:15may Allah keep you safe.
11:16Today, you are with us.
11:18We greet you,
11:20Ustaz-ul-Ulema,
11:21Sheikh-ul-Hadith,
11:23Mufti Muhammad Ahsan Naveed Khan Niazi,
11:25son-in-law,
11:26Fuyudhum.
11:27Today, he is with us,
11:28on the beaper.
11:30We greet you.
11:31Salam-o-Alaikum.
11:32Wa-Alaikum-Salam,
11:33Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuh.
11:34Are you well?
11:35Alhamdulillah.
11:36May Allah keep you safe.
11:39May Allah keep you safe on our heads.
11:41May Allah grant you complete healing.
11:44We are taking a break at this time.
11:47In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
11:50Assalam-o-Alaikum.
11:51Wa-Rahmatullahi.
11:52You are watching,
11:53Deen-o-Khawateen,
11:54with Zarr-e-Naacheez.
11:56The commandments of the deceased,
11:57is our topic.
11:58And,
11:59we are fortunate,
12:00that today,
12:01for our guidance,
12:02on the beaper,
12:03directly,
12:04Sheikh-ul-Hadith,
12:05Mufti Muhammad Ahsan Naveed Khan Niazi,
12:07son-in-law,
12:08Fuyudhum,
12:09is with us.
12:10We greet you.
12:11And, Huzoor,
12:12I want that,
12:13before the break,
12:14the words that he has spoken,
12:16the commandments of the funeral prayer,
12:18and,
12:19its method.
12:20Please guide us on this.
12:21In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
12:23Peace be upon His Beloved,
12:24Muhammad and his family,
12:25and his companions.
12:26And peace be upon him.
12:27The funeral prayer,
12:28is an obligation.
12:29The meaning of an obligation,
12:31is that,
12:32if anyone performs it,
12:34then it is performed by everyone.
12:35And, if no one performs it,
12:37then everyone is a sinner.
12:38And, this is our Deen-e-Islam,
12:40Deen-e-Fitrah.
12:41See, how beautiful our Deen is,
12:43and, how Allah, the Almighty,
12:45has blessed man.
12:47What protocol has been given to man,
12:49that when,
12:50from the time of man's birth,
12:52to the time of his death,
12:53all the stages,
12:54if you ponder over all of them,
12:56in what manner,
12:57our Deen-e-Islamic teachings,
12:59according to those teachings,
13:01is man being given,
13:02respect and honour.
13:04Apart from this,
13:06if you look at the method of other religions,
13:09the method of those people,
13:11in that,
13:12the honour of man and humanity,
13:14is not given,
13:15which is given in Deen-e-Islam,
13:17the honour of man and humanity,
13:19is given.
13:20In true sense,
13:21Allah, the Almighty,
13:22has decorated the crown of Adam,
13:24on the head of man,
13:26its manifestation,
13:27in Deen-e-Islam,
13:28is at every step.
13:29Here also,
13:30SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah.
13:31So, see,
13:32when the funeral prayer is offered,
13:34then the benefits and blessings
13:36of that funeral prayer,
13:37are also mentioned.
13:38And, that funeral prayer,
13:40is called,
13:41Kafara-e-Saiyyat.
13:43Meaning,
13:44that funeral prayer,
13:45if that person is a sinner,
13:46and the people present at the funeral,
13:48they are pious,
13:49then for them,
13:50it is Kafara-e-Saiyyat.
13:52And, if that person is pious,
13:54and the sinners,
13:55are present at his funeral prayer,
13:56then for them,
13:57it is Kafara-e-Saiyyat.
13:58SubhanAllah.
13:59Anyway,
14:00it is not free of benefits.
14:01And then,
14:02it is the remembrance of Allah.
14:03When a person comes into this world,
14:04it is the commandment of Adhan,
14:05that the name of Allah,
14:06should enter his ears.
14:08First of all,
14:09before that,
14:10the name of Allah,
14:11should enter his ears.
14:12So, when such a person,
14:13has left this world,
14:14then before leaving,
14:15the prayer should be offered to him,
14:17the remembrance of Allah,
14:18should be done,
14:19and after asking for prayers,
14:20he should be given the commandment of Adhan.
14:22Meaning,
14:23the beginning,
14:24that too,
14:25is in the name of Allah,
14:26and the end,
14:27that too,
14:28is in the name of Allah.
14:29So,
14:30it is necessary to participate
14:31in the funeral prayer.
14:32I am talking about men.
14:33Women,
14:34anyway,
14:35should not participate
14:36in the funeral prayer.
14:37And,
14:39basically,
14:40it is a commandment for men.
14:41So,
14:42the men,
14:43they should definitely
14:44participate in the funeral prayer.
14:45And,
14:46the funeral prayer,
14:47first of all,
14:48it is a duty.
14:49Then,
14:50it is not free of benefit,
14:51as I have said,
14:52that if,
14:53the deceased,
14:54whose funeral is being offered,
14:55if he is deceased,
14:56and he is forgiven,
14:57then,
14:58those who offer the funeral prayer,
14:59with his blessings,
15:00for them,
15:01it becomes a punishment.
15:02And,
15:03if the deceased is a sinner,
15:04then,
15:05when so many Muslims gather,
15:06then,
15:07among them,
15:08there are some good people.
15:09Anyway,
15:10there are some people
15:11who mention Allah,
15:12who remind their hearts
15:13of Allah,
15:14who are close to Allah.
15:15There are some people
15:16like that.
15:17So,
15:18anyway,
15:19they also have their blessings.
15:20So,
15:21we should not be lazy in this.
15:22Some people,
15:23who are satisfied
15:24only with the pursah,
15:25they say,
15:26okay,
15:27we will call and find out.
15:28Or,
15:29later,
15:30on some occasion,
15:31they will go.
15:32It is better
15:33that a person
15:34definitely participates in the funeral prayer.
15:35Okay,
15:36this has happened.
15:37But,
15:38anyway,
15:39among the rights
15:40that have been mentioned
15:41in the Hadith,
15:42one of them
15:43has been mentioned,
15:44that,
15:45to participate in the funeral prayer,
15:46to follow the funeral prayer.
15:47So,
15:48taking some time
15:49out of your busy schedule,
15:50men should definitely
15:51participate
15:52in the funeral prayer.
15:53And,
15:54for those who
15:55can go to the graveyard
15:56for burial,
15:57it is better
15:58that they go there
15:59and participate in it.
16:00And,
16:01anyway,
16:02this kind of participation,
16:03where there are other benefits,
16:05in its own right,
16:06a big benefit of it
16:07is that,
16:08it brings the memory
16:09of the hereafter.
16:10It creates
16:11no attachment
16:12to the world.
16:13And,
16:14the world's
16:15instability,
16:16a person
16:17realizes it.
16:18That,
16:19when a person
16:20participates in the funeral prayer
16:21and goes to the graveyard,
16:22then,
16:23one of its
16:24objectives,
16:25one of its wisdom,
16:26which is the acquisition of
16:27the lesson,
16:28that lesson is obtained.
16:29And,
16:30a person's heart
16:31is inclined towards
16:32the hereafter,
16:33towards worship,
16:34towards worship.
16:35So,
16:36one should
16:37definitely perform
16:38such activities.
16:39One should not
16:40leave it
16:41for no reason.
16:42And,
16:43one is deprived of
16:44the reward.
16:45That is,
16:46if one does not
16:47participate,
16:48then,
16:49whether it is a sin
16:50or not,
16:51it is an obligation.
16:52Others have paid it.
16:53But,
16:54the reward of
16:55participating,
16:56the reward,
16:57the reward,
16:58anyway,
16:59one is deprived of
17:00the reward.
17:01That is,
17:02like,
17:03even after doing this,
17:04we do it,
17:05that it is
17:06the best,
17:07that we will
17:08get the benefit.
17:09Keeping that benefit
17:10in mind,
17:11we give our time
17:12and we take
17:13the pain
17:14and also
17:15the effort.
17:16Like,
17:17here also,
17:18when we have
17:19to get the
17:20religious benefit,
17:21to get the
17:22reward,
17:23to get the
17:24nearness of
17:25Allah,
17:26to get the
17:27pleasure of
17:28Allah,
17:29then,
17:30even for this,
17:31if we have
17:32a little
17:33effort,
17:34this will
17:35end,
17:36the reward
17:37will remain.
17:38And,
17:39that is,
17:40in Jannah,
17:41when a believer
17:42has no desire
17:43for anything
17:44in Jannah,
17:45except for
17:46that moment
17:47in the world
17:48when Allah's
17:49Zikr was
17:50not mentioned,
17:51he has
17:52desire for that,
17:53otherwise,
17:54there is
17:55no desire
17:56in Jannah.
17:57So,
17:58one should
17:59keep that
18:00in mind
18:01and
18:02I am
18:03saying that
18:04even among the
18:05Muslims,
18:06one should
18:07not be lazy
18:08unnecessarily
18:09and one should
18:10put his heart
18:11in worship.
18:12One should
18:13love Allah.
18:14Subhanallah,
18:15Mashallah,
18:16Barakallah,
18:17I will ask
18:18you,
18:19Alima Safa
18:20Fatima,
18:21and,
18:22she explained
18:23to us
18:24many things
18:25about
18:26funeral prayer.
18:27If someone
18:28commits suicide,
18:29then,
18:30does a
18:31funeral
18:32take place?
18:33What will
18:34be the
18:35order for
18:36that?
18:37See,
18:38the human
18:39body is
18:40a blessing
18:41from Allah
18:42and
18:43he is
18:44entrusted
18:45with it.
18:46We are
18:47not the
18:48owners of it.
18:49We have
