00:00I love Azmat's character, I would have loved to play it, but now that I have played Chandni,
00:12not at all.
00:13She was very fun to play and like, very exciting.
00:16No, I think we'll go back and play it again.
00:19Hey, please.
00:20No, okay, fine.
00:21I would love to play his character, yeah?
00:22It's a fabulous character.
00:23But the thing is, you know, I want to put this to an end, he might not have been the
00:27first choice for it, but he is the best choice for it.
00:30Because he's done an exceptional job, Anshuman is playing Tariq, and he's come on the set,
00:34and really, genuinely, you've done such a wonderful job.
00:36Don't cry.
00:37You know, he's come on there without being part of, we had a lot of these reads between
00:41the actors, we had a lot of interaction time, we had a lot of time to understand what we're
00:45going to do, but to come in last minute onto a set which is already on floor and in another
00:50city to land up there and, you know, take off from it and to deliver what he's done,
00:54I think it's incredible.
00:56And the character he's played also, it's phenomenal.
00:57I think it's, Tariq is a really fun character.
01:01You'll like him, you'll hate him, you'll go with his fun, you'll also see a side of him
01:06that's very vulnerable.
01:08So I would love to do it, I think it'll be interesting to do.
01:12I will give you the mic later.
01:13So, you know, I had seen his Jamtara and all of that, so I knew he's a very good actor.
01:20But when Ajay sir, I remember, came to me and he said, he's going to be playing Tariq.
01:27And I said, oh, like, he didn't seem like the obvious choice, I was like, oh, okay.
01:32I said, listen, he's a good actor, let's see, let's see what happens.
01:35Phir, I think, aap log ki shoot ho gayi thi, I had gone back to Bombay, come back.
01:40And then hamara scene hua, and then the first scene itself, we had a very good time, we
01:45were laughing off camera, a lot of that happened.
01:48And then I watched him behind the scenes.
01:52And actually, Anshuman as an individual has so much play in him, he's such a fun guy,
01:57he's always doing hai with everybody, gossiping all the time, I was like, this guy is tailor
02:05made for this role.
02:06Sab kuch batanega nahi.
02:07Look, yes and no for that thing.
02:12Yes, why?
02:13Because as an actor, you want to, you know, achieve everything, if it is coming in your
02:17you want to do it with your full sincerity, you want, and definitely there is, you know,
02:22unique shades with that character, with Maddy, you want to do that thing, because somehow
02:26you don't feel that you are perfectly suitable for that particular role.
02:30And you want to prove it.
02:31So you want to do it.
02:32No, because he has done tremendous job in that.
02:35When I see Maddy, I don't see Sameer Kochan there.
02:39I see Maddy only.
02:40So because he brings so many uniqueness, he adds so many layers in that character.
02:47So I don't want to touch it.
02:48I don't want to ruin it.
02:49So I don't want to play now.
02:50Earlier, it definitely, if he hasn't played that thing, and it comes, script came, I would
02:54love to do that thing.
02:55But now, no, I don't think so.
03:03Nobody else but me.
03:06Nobody else allowed.
03:08Yeah, I think it's best, it's better as a web series though, because it's longer and
03:12you can have more fun with it.
03:15I think there are some things that are suitable for web series only.
03:18I think Moonwalk is suitable to be a nice web series.
03:21So let it be as it is now.
03:23If a film is made on it, we will think about it later.
03:25Do you think it should be a movie?
03:26I don't think so.
03:27I don't think, because, you know, this.
03:29Hey, conjecture.
03:30Assume.
03:31Assume.
03:33So what was your question?
03:34Sorry.
03:35Who should play Tarek?
03:37You are offending me, brother.
03:39Who?
03:44I don't think so anybody.
03:46We are the perfect cast.
03:47Okay, now, gone now.
03:48Everybody is upset.
03:54Prankster, everybody is prankster.
03:56But for me, Ajay Guhan is the biggest prankster.
03:59Biggest.
04:00Every time you go there and he gives you different weird ideas.
04:04And, you know, because of the script.
04:06The concept.
04:07We always think that there is possibility for that.
04:09And suddenly he is laughing.
04:11No, no, bro.
04:12Are you crazy?
04:13Yeah, yeah.
04:14He was like that.
04:15His biggest prankster for me is, you know, Ajay Guhan.
04:18Yeah, yeah.
04:19No, and he would, he would like.
04:21In the middle of the scene, he would snigger and I can hear him.
04:25I am like, why are you doing that?
04:26You are, you know, you are distracting me.
04:28He would do all that.
04:29But he used to have so much fun while the scene was playing out.
04:33He used to have so much fun.
04:34He used to.
04:35And watching him having such a good time, you would feel a little assured and validated.
04:40That okay, it's going in a good direction.
04:42He kept saying, he kept saying the word ding dong.
04:44Ding dong.
04:45So many words, man.
04:46Nobody knew what that meant.
04:48Come on, what do you have to do in the scene?
04:49Ding dong.
04:50Yeah, what do you have to do? Ding dong.
04:51So if he said ding dong, we knew the scene was good.
04:53Guys, this overall show is his energy only.
04:56I don't see somebody else is there.
04:59It's only Ajay Bhuhan is there.
05:01Every time he is bringing that energy to perform.
05:04It's him only all the time.
05:06The quirk, that comedy, that you know, whatever uniqueness in the script, it's all Ajay Bhuhan.
05:11So I give credit to that person only.
05:19But it is.
05:21Yeah.
05:22And it is a moon heist.
05:23It's a moon heist.
05:24Okay.
05:25You think heist of the entire moon?
05:27You want to heist the entire moon?
05:28If you want to heist the entire moon and take it somewhere?
05:30Yes.
05:31Bro, look, man, I...
05:32I will take Chandni and go.
05:33I won't go to Chandni.
05:36Correct.
05:37I think that's all we know about the solar system.
05:38If there are other galaxies outside it, we will take the moon there.
05:47This year I have no new resolutions.
05:49I think the way the car is running, it's good.
05:51I think when these resolutions are made, they break off in the first or second week.
05:55And I'd like to tell the people also, okay, enjoy yourself.
05:58Don't be hard on yourself and want too much change for yourself in your life.
06:02In terms of enjoyment, I'll spend some time with the family.
06:05With a little commitment, I'll be at home or travel somewhere close by.
06:09So yeah, wishing all your viewers a happy new year.
06:14Yeah, I'm going to be with my family and I'm just going to relax.
06:17New year resolutions, I don't...
06:19I was never like that.
06:20I'd never do that, those things.
06:22So it's like, yes, I want to stay happy forever.
06:25So whatever needs to be done for that, I'll do it.
06:28Whatever I can understand.
06:29I don't think I'm going to take anything like that.
06:31I've never taken anything like that.
06:38In the world of art, there have always been divine rays that have been born.
06:42And who sometimes leave their Ayam.
06:45These divine rays are born for those for whom you feel from within.
06:49When you were a kid, a boy like me, who started to see life from a distance.
06:53For him, till that time, his ad from Vahataaj and all those things.
06:57And on his tabla...
06:59I saw a video of him here a few days ago.
07:02That person is that talented that he can even make the sound of a conch.
07:06And all those things.
07:07So his dedication to art, I think, is very important.
07:13So his dedication to art, when we touch each artist's ear and take their name.
07:17It's a huge loss.
07:19But what he has given, what he has left his fame, his art behind.
07:24May God keep him moving forward.
07:26And according to me, it's a huge loss for India.
07:29It's a huge loss for people like us.
07:31But the example he has set.
07:33Somewhere for us, it's an Ayam that everyone wants to touch.
07:36Which everyone wants to touch.
07:43Souls like those don't descend on the planet Earth very easily.
07:48And somebody as enriching as him.
07:51My brother is in the music industry.
07:53So I've known stories about him.
07:55And as profound as the loss is.
07:58I think we all need to feel very lucky and privileged that we lived in the time that he did.
08:07And he has set the standard so high.
08:09Of not just art and his maestry.
08:13But also as a human being.
08:15He was a gem of a person.
08:17He was very encouraging to young talent and everything.
08:20And to have witnessed that.
08:23We can only take his legacy forward by emulating the same behavior.
08:33It's definitely a very sad day.
08:35Maestros like him don't come very often.
08:39It takes a generation to bring out talent like that.
08:42And of course, he's touched the hearts of so many people.
08:46Not only in India but across the world.
08:48I was actually reading the number of concerts he's done.
08:51It's remarkable in so many countries across the world.
08:54And taking the tabla beats out of India and spreading that across the world.
08:59It's been unreal.
09:01And he's right.
09:02Arre Huzoor, Waha Taj Boliye was one of the ads that one always grew up to.
09:07So a really sad day for India, for the world.
09:10In terms of the loss of a musical maestro like him.
09:13But condolences to the entire family.
09:16And of course, his music, his beat shall live on.
