00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has already approved the higher gratuity pay for the job order contract of service in the government.

00:09This is a recognition of their contribution to the operation of the government.

00:15Almost everyone can receive the gratuity pay, even those who haven't worked for 3 months in the government.

00:24Higher Gratuity Pay

00:27This is the payment of the government for the contract of service and job order employee of the government agencies.

00:33Since the previous 5,000 Pesos last year, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has approved the Gratuity Pay for the so-called employees of 7,000 Pesos.

00:44Those who have worked for more than 4 months in the government.

00:47This is according to the Administrative Order No. 28 issued by the Palacio and signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

00:55But worry no more, because 6,000 Pesos can be received if the employee has served for 3 months and is lower than 4 months.

01:035,000 Pesos can be received if they have worked for 2 months but is lower than 3 months in the government.

01:10While 4,000 Pesos can be received for employees who are lower than 2 months in the government.

01:16The Budget Department thanked President Marcos Jr. for the possibility of increasing the Gratuity Pay for the COS and JO workers.

01:24According to the DBM, this is a big help to the workers, especially since the calamities in the country have become more frequent this year.

01:31At the same time, the government will not neglect the COS and JO employees, especially since they have a big part in the government's work.

01:40They will also not allow the government to not accept COS and JO personnel this holiday season.

01:47Under this order, the COS and JO employees of national government agencies, state universities and colleges, government-owned or controlled corporations or GOCCs, and local water districts

02:00The payment of the Gratuity Pay to the qualified COS and JO employees in the government for fiscal year 2024 will be made as early as December 15.
