00:05Live right here on the early
00:07line on Sports Green. What a
00:09Monday it has been. What a week
00:11it has been. It's Monday at 1014
00:14AM. We'll continue to preview
00:16Monday night football to
00:18conclude week number sixteen
00:20around the National Football
00:22League. No, because we have to
00:24Donnie. We have to. We have to
00:26Oh, let's be Doc. Come on.
00:29That's like, let's take a look
00:30at segment idea. Yeah, if we
00:33don't have the pro football
00:34doc. Yeah, we go to Dr. Donnie
00:37and we say that with the very
00:39big caveat and make sure that we
00:41put this out there. In fact, we
00:43should have a disclaimer
00:44probably running across the
00:45screen. Not an actual dog. I am
00:47a doctor, Dr. Donnie. All right.
00:51So here we go. I'm going to ask
00:53for your injury insight and
00:55analysis. DRS, I do just want
00:58to say, as we talked about
00:59earlier, really unfortunate,
01:01scary and significant injury to
01:03Tank Dell, who was having a
01:05great game for Houston in his
01:07second year, six grabs, 98
01:09yards and a touchdown that made
01:11it a one possession game in the
01:13second half against KC, but on
01:16the touchdown grab collided with
01:18his teammate. It is a
01:19dislocated kneecap. It's about
01:21as significant of a knee injury
01:23as one can suffer. It is
01:26gruesome. It is significant.
01:28The setback is a big one and a
01:31large and long recovery process
01:34is now starting for Tank Dell,
01:36who remained in a hospital in
01:37Kansas City in the 24 hours or
01:40so after suffering the injury.
01:42So our thoughts with Dell and
01:44his long road to recovery. And
01:46also like as a Houston fan,
01:48like you're getting robbed this
01:49season. Like how much fun did we
01:51think Houston would be picking
01:53them to win the division? I
01:54thought they would do that and
01:55say, wow, look at that
01:56three-headed monster at wide
01:58receiver. You add Joe Mixon in
02:00the backfield. You had almost a
02:02rookie of the year slash MVP
02:04last year in CJ Stroud. What
02:06could they do? What type of
02:08damage could they inflict if
02:09they got into the playoffs? Now
02:10you're down to Nico Collins, who
02:12is sensational and you saw Joe
02:13Mixon, but does anybody think
02:15that round one game now is like,
02:16Hey, if Houston wins, they might
02:18be lucky even though they were
02:19at home. If you had digs out
02:21there and Nico Collins and a
02:22healthy matchy and a tank Dell
02:24and adult and Schultz and a
02:25Mixon boy, that's a fun lineup
02:27here. And you're left with just
02:28Nico Collins. That's the first
02:30part that I look at where it's
02:31a shame where I thought they
02:32might be so much fun to watch
02:34in the playoffs. Now it looks
02:35like a one and done in this
02:36point and it's not their fault.
02:38It's not from bad play. It's
02:39just a war of attrition that
02:40they're losing bed. Yeah. It's
02:42really unfortunate. Nine and
02:44six is the outright record for
02:46Texas, for the Texans. They can
02:48move up the AFC playoff
02:50standings, but they would need
02:51some help really to move off of
02:53that four line. They will host
02:55the opening round more than
02:57likely. They will get the top at
02:58large wild card team that at
03:01this current moment is
03:02Baltimore. They played each
03:03other last year, albeit in the
03:05charm city, the Ravens won that
03:07game comfortably in the
03:09divisional round. But here is
03:10really where dr Donnie excels
03:13when it comes to injuries around
03:15the calf muscle and any
03:17hamstring issues that might be
03:19out there. Donnie, Chris Jones,
03:21of course, one of the best
03:22interior defensive lineman in
03:23the sport for Kansas City calf
03:26injury on Saturday afternoon,
03:28Marshawn Latimer, a great game
03:30yesterday against the
03:32Philadelphia Eagles, hamstring
03:34injury, Drake London, hamstring
03:37injury that Atlanta did say he
03:39could have returned if it was
03:41even remotely close against the
03:43New York Giants, the RS calves,
03:46hamstrings, it's your time to
03:48shine. What's the outlook for
03:49Chris Jones, Marshawn Latimer
03:51and Drake London? You can pick
03:53one or talk about all three
03:54whenever you want. Yeah, we're
03:55going to talk about all three.
03:56Let's start here with Chris
03:57Jones. You got a big man who
03:58absolutely when the game is on
04:00the line, maybe the most
04:01dominant defensive lineman in
04:02football as it stands right now.
04:04If he has a calf injury, the
04:06perfect scenario for the Kansas
04:07City Chiefs. Hey, look, two
04:08games to play, got to win one
04:10and we're going to be the
04:10number one seed. How does he
04:12have a calf injury on a
04:12Saturday and then play again on
04:14a Wednesday? That can't happen.
04:15I don't think Chris Jones is
04:16going to be there, but I use
04:17this caveat. Do we actually get
04:19accurate reports on who's
04:21injured and how they're injured
04:22for Kansas City? So that one's
04:24a little bit more murky, but
04:25for me, I don't think we see
04:26him on Christmas Day. Let's get
04:28to the next one here, which we
04:29marched on Lattimore. This is
04:30the tough one where you look at
04:32Ben. This guy has fought
04:33hamstring injuries the entire
04:35way through the season, comes
04:36back and immediately hurts that
04:38hamstring again. There's a
04:39chance we don't see him for the
04:41rest of the regular season
04:42because Washington is probably
04:44going to get in. The last thing
04:45you need to do is your number
04:46one cornerback acquisition is
04:48put him out there in a spot that
04:49he could harm again. And also
04:50keep in mind, it's not as if
04:52you're playing in Hawaii or
04:53Miami where it's 80 degrees and
04:54you can get that hamstring
04:55loosened up. You're in a cold
04:57weather environment. I expect
04:58him to miss this week and next
05:00week, Ben, and hopefully try to
05:02get back for the playoff run.
05:03Same thing with Drake London.
05:05The one thing I love about wide
05:06receivers and skill position
05:07players is unless they've had a
05:09hamstring injury, they don't
05:10understand it because
05:11technically it's not all that
05:13painful, but the inability to
05:15run and make cuts and damage it
05:17further, they always think they
05:18can play through like you can
05:19play through an ankle sprain or
05:21you know, a banged up shoulder.
05:22You can't do that. So I don't
05:24care if they said, hey, look, he
05:25hurt his hamstring but couldn't
05:26come back here. You know what?
05:27I put the odds on Drake London
05:29playing next week, 50 50. And if
05:31he does play, Ben, he's not
05:33going to finish that football
05:34game. How about that?
05:36Wow. The hamstring prognosis for
05:39Drake London, that might have
05:40been the matchup DRS for our
05:42Sunday night football game in
05:44Landover, Drake London against
05:46Marshawn Lattimore. We shall
05:48see. Now I wasn't here again. I
05:50was out buying Christmas gifts
05:51as Donnie was breaking down
05:52Michael Pennix Jr. And his
05:54debut as a starter for Atlanta.
05:57It wasn't overwhelmingly great,
05:59but he didn't have to do all
06:01that much in the interception on
06:04that final box score and stat
06:05line was so much more on Kyle
06:07Pitts. That might've been
06:09Michael Pennix, his first NFL
06:11passing touchdown than it was on
06:14Pennix. It's a four and a half
06:15point spread in favor of the
06:17commanders for Sunday night,
06:20Washington tried to improve its
06:21stock in the seed line around
06:23the NFC and even still has a
06:26shot. I guess probably by that
06:28time, they will know if they can
06:30win the NFC East as
06:31Philadelphia just needs to beat
06:33Dallas earlier on Sunday to
06:35clinch that division. But I
06:37still look at the commanders,
06:39maybe humbling the Falcons, if
06:41you will, in that spot, at
06:43least that is my estimation. We
06:46don't have the doc. Unfortunately,
06:48we did have Dr. Donnie, should
06:50we still take a look at the
06:51field views? Oh, we are awesome.
06:52All right, here's the field
06:54views on sports and central
06:55score.com. That is SIC score.com
06:59six score.com looks pretty green.
07:03Looks like a big Christmas tree
07:05out there. Yeah, big edge here,
07:07by the way, based on it, you
07:08have the you have the damaged
07:09New Orleans Saints coming in at
07:11a 68.4 rating, but then you have
07:13the 97 radio and often 11
07:16point advantage toward the
07:17Packers tonight. Go back go.
