00:57Commissioners and Directors of SRO,
01:00Commissioners and Directors of SRO Entrepreneurship,
01:03and all stakeholders of the Indonesian financial market.
01:07On behalf of Bursa Efek Indonesia,
01:11I would like to welcome you and thank you for your presence and participation in the closing ceremony of Bursa Efek Indonesia in 2024.
01:26Today's ceremony is an expression of our appreciation and appreciation for all the support and contributions of all stakeholders in building the Indonesian financial market,
01:38in achieving an advanced and competitive financial market.
01:43Ladies and gentlemen,
01:462024 has been a challenging year as well as an opportunity for the Indonesian financial market.
01:53Throughout the year, IISK has experienced significant quality.
01:57Closed at the number of 7,037, it fell by 3.25% year-to-date.
02:04Nevertheless, the trading liquidity shows a joyful increase.
02:09With the trading value, the daily average of 12.85 trillion per day grew by 20% compared to last year.
02:21Another positive thing is the increase in net foreign buy, which reached almost 16 trillion,
02:29compared to the reverse position in 2023, which recorded a clean flow of 6.19 trillion.
02:37This shows that foreign investors' trust in our financial market is starting to recover.
02:44IISK's new highest record was set on September 19, 2004, reaching 7,905,
02:53which is in line with the policy of reducing the flow of foreign investment by the FED to 50 basis points.
03:00However, the pressure began to feel towards the end of the year,
03:04especially after the cautious outlook guidance from the FED, which was not responded positively by the market.
03:12We can report that globally, IISK's performance still shows competitive competitiveness compared to other exchanges.
03:22I am proud to report that our capital market not only persists in the midst of global uncertainty,
03:30but also continues to show high competitiveness, both in ASEAN and globally.
03:37In terms of market capitalization, all our listed companies are worth US$757 billion,
03:44which grew by 0.1% year-to-date until November 2024.
03:50This figure shows solid stability, despite facing various global economic challenges.
03:58In addition, the average daily transaction value still grew significantly by 15% year-to-year,
04:06to US$809 billion, in line with other ASEAN exchanges.
04:12In addition, in the last five years, we recorded an average of 57 IPO per year,
04:20making us one of the most active markets in supporting the capital market experience in the ASEAN region.
04:29The growth in the number of listed companies in the IISK also increased by 4% compared to the end of 2023,
04:36which reached 943 companies.
04:40On a global scale, there is still a lot to be achieved to compete with the world's largest exchanges,
04:47from the United States and other ASEAN exchanges.
04:51However, with the support of the government's pro-market policy and the hard work of all stakeholders,
04:58we are optimistic that we can continue to increase the competitiveness of the Indonesian capital market.
05:05Ladies and gentlemen,
05:09We believe that the capital market can play an active role in achieving Indonesia's economic growth
05:16up to 8% by 2029.
05:20From the need for additional investment for the next five years, which is estimated at around Rp14 trillion,
05:28the capital market is potentially contributing up to 61% through fundraising activities.
05:37Direct contributions through fundraising can reach Rp1,500 trillion for five years,
05:45through initiatives such as Lighthouse IPO, general offer of BUMN, and the efficiency of the right issue process.
05:55Direct contributions through increasing the valuation of listed companies,
06:01which provides leverage for funding through loans up to Rp6,800 trillion.
06:08The efficient capital market infrastructure also plays an important role in creating a multiplier effect on the national economy.
06:17Company business expansion can increase the supply of workers and increase the purchasing power,
06:24which ultimately affects the household consumption components of domestic products.
06:31The contribution of listed companies, both through state tax revenues of Rp115 trillion
06:38and investor dividends of Rp367 trillion in 2023,
06:45is a real proof of the positive impact of the capital market on Indonesia's economy.
06:51Ladies and gentlemen,
06:53This potential can only exist if all stakeholders, namely the government, regulators, corporations, and investors,
07:02work together to develop a more inclusive, transparent, and competitive capital market.
07:10Together, we can achieve great goals for a stronger and sustainable Indonesian economy.
07:18Next, I would also like to express my appreciation and gratitude for the support and cooperation of OJK and SRO.
07:27Because this afternoon, we will launch a new derivative product,
07:33which is the KBIA,
07:39with the underlying index MSCI Hong Kong Listed Large Cup.
07:44The KBIA product will use the index on the effects recorded in the foreign exchange as an underlying.
07:51The KBIA is expected to contribute to boost the growth of the derivative market liquidity of finance in Indonesia.
07:59That's all I can say.
08:01Thank you for your attendance today.

11:55On the domestic side,
11:57we have passed a crucial moment in the political year
12:01with the implementation of the presidential election,
12:05legislative, and also parliamentary elections,
12:08which of course brings its own dynamics
12:11for the stability of the economy and the Indonesian capital market.
12:16Various challenges have tested our resilience
12:22in promoting the sustainable growth of the capital market.
12:27Nevertheless,
12:29thanks to the hard work, synergy, and cooperation
12:33of all stakeholders in the capital market industry,
