00:08An egg tart business of a Filipino Chinese businessman
00:12named Keynes Roa started.
00:13Let's find out his business story here in Nigosyo Tayo.
00:18Hi, my name is Keynes Roa.
00:20My business is egg tart.
00:22Now we have the new products,
00:24which is egg tart, pangok, and sobrang masala.
00:28I'm the one who make it and mix it.
00:32We could have the cream, we could have some toppings
00:36like mga durian, mga fruit, cranberry or blueberry,
00:42or even strawberry, whatever you like.
00:44My grandmother is a Filipina.
00:48Since when I was young, I grew up in Hong Kong.
00:51So when I was in my early 20s,
00:54I decided to come back to the Philippines
00:57because the egg tart is a delicacy in Hong Kong,
01:02also in Macau, so I want to bring it here.
01:05I always try to make the egg tart
01:09with the ingredients that I like.

01:25Luckily, I have a classmate in Hong Kong.

01:41My business is food supplement.
01:45The most different is these vitamins
01:48the factory will make for me.
01:51For me, I only need to negotiate with the end user
01:55or the distributors or the pharmacies.
01:59But the egg tart, since nobody knows here,
02:03maybe there are people who know,
02:05the difference is I have to spend time
02:08to crumble it and massage it and mix it.
02:12I spend almost two to three hours a day
02:14to practice before I can have it launched to you guys.

02:24how could I bring the best product to the Philippines.

02:34but the quality as well.
