00:31Princess, a day after the holidays, the situation of some terminals in Metro Manila are still normal.
00:40The management of these terminals are expecting the passengers in flux over the weekend.
00:47And they're also saying that some Filipinos who went home to their provinces extended their vacation.
00:54Emily arrived at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange or PITX from Dagupan at 5 o'clock this afternoon.
01:12In just a few minutes, a bus coming from Occidental Mindoro set foot on the same terminal where Jason is one of the passengers.
01:24There's not much traffic. It's easy to return here.
01:29Jason and Emily are among the multitude who went to their home provinces to celebrate the holidays.
01:36And now they're over, they're headed back to Metro Manila as early as they could to avoid the exodus of passengers this weekend.
01:46In Manila North, port passengers from different provincial ports have arrived at the port of Metro Manila.
01:53One of them was Dennis from the port of Zamboanga.
02:03The Philippine Port Authority is expecting the peak of passengers tomorrow which might reach over 3,000 passengers.
02:11Most of the bus terminals along EDSA Cubao and EDSA Kamuning still have few passengers today.
02:18According to authorities, this might some Filipinos who went to their provinces extended their vacation.
02:25In the North Luzon Expressway, there were still few vehicles at the toll gate today.
02:31The NLEX management is expecting an inflow of vehicles over the weekend.
02:38Princess, as of this time here in PITX, as you can see behind me, the influx of passengers continues.
02:48And it's increasing. As a matter of fact, around 6 o'clock tonight, PITX was able to record over 136,000 passengers.
02:59And it went up around 7 o'clock, it went up to 145,000 passengers.
