00:03Flood warnings, which means that flooding is expected,
00:06have been issued for a number of areas in Derbyshire,
00:09with residents being urged to move pets and valuables to safety.
00:12Flood warnings were put in place on the River Rother in central Chesterfield and Tapton,
00:17the River Doley in Staveley and the River Erewash at Ilkeston.
00:21Heavy rainfall and melting snow have also caused problems on the roads,
00:25with a number of major roads, including the A61 and the A617 at Horns Bridge, closed this morning.
00:31Schools across the country have closed to students over concerns about site safety and travel issues.

00:44Youngsters at a Derbyshire school have proved they've got some great dance moves,
00:48as well as raising money for charity.
00:50Pupils at St Thomas's Catholic Voluntary Academy in Ilkeston
00:54raised £1,450 for charity by dancing all day.
00:58Every child at the school took part in the sponsored event,
01:01which saw clubber-size instructor Lindsay Ford, who is a teacher at St Thomas's,
01:05taking a class at a time into the hall and leading a special dance exercise session.
