00:00The former Malacanang spokesperson, Atty. Harry Roque, and former Presidential Advisor, Atty. Salvador Panelo,
00:08issued a statement about the attack on the position of Mangduterte as a member of the National Security Council.
00:14The details of the national news were reported by Clay Zell Pardilla of PTV Manila.
00:18If you think about it, that's always malicious. Mr. Harry Roque is really malicious.
00:26That was the statement of Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin against the statement of the former Malacanang spokesperson, Atty. Harry Roque.
00:33Roque said that President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. had planned to declare martial law after Vice President Sara Duterte and former President Rodrigo Duterte were removed as members of the National Security Council.
00:49On December 30, the Executive Order that ordered the reorganization of the NSC was issued.
00:55If they want to speed up the downfall of the administration of Marcos Jr., they should declare martial law.
01:06According to Malacanang, President Marcos has no plan to declare martial law or to extend his term.
01:13The priority of the President is to promote the nation and the Filipinos.
01:20What he has in mind is the economic prosperity of the country, the health and welfare of the people, especially those of the lower classes, and the prioritization of his legacy projects.
01:36The former Presidential Advisor, Atty. Salvador Panelo, also ordered the removal of Duterte from the NSC after the so-called dirty politics.
01:48Panelo, during his time as Presidential Advisor, was also advocated the exclusion of then Vice President Leonel Robredo.
02:01So he has no moral authority to question the decision of the President.
02:07The NSC is an advisory council, that's why President Marcos has the right to choose the member he trusts.
