00:00Hi, I'm Laura Barker and I work at Doodly Zoo. I'm a section head of the
00:12Hevestock section that does include these beautiful red pandas. So here at
00:17Doodly Zoo we've got two red pandas. Ember came to us around three years ago
00:20and Karko around two years ago now. Red pandas come from areas such as the
00:25Himalayas, quite cold areas. The word panda basically means bamboo eater so
00:31these guys they do love their bamboo and we supply them with fresh bamboo every
00:35single day but also they get a mixture of leaf eater pellets and also some
00:39steamed root veg every single day. So here at Doodly Zoo we're very excited
00:44because Ember our red panda has been the most popular animal to adopt this whole
00:49year but actually she's been the most popular animal to adopt for the last
00:53three years since she's actually arrived here so we're so proud of Ember. We
00:57actually got Karko a couple of years ago and now Karko's feeling a little bit
01:01left out at the moment because lovely Ember's getting all the adoptions so
01:04we're hoping you guys might adopt Karko a little bit more now you've seen just
01:08how cute he is and also he's fantastic with his training so I think an adoption
01:12for Karko is well deserved. Now these two are hopefully a breeding pair so we are
01:17really really hoping that this year we may see baby red pandas at Doodly Zoo.
01:22Now we have lots of different animals you can adopt on the whole site if you
01:26actually go to our website you'll be able to see the details and if you do
01:30adopt one of our animals including lovely Ember you will actually find that
01:34you'll get a little pack comes through the post you'll have a personalized
01:38photo of the animal you've adopted along with a fact sheet and many other exciting
01:42items.
