00:00Following the arrest of a Filipino American vlogger in Zamboanga, authorities have arrested Ryan Nesigues at the center of the news.
00:11The people of the Philippine National Police, PNP, have already seized the mastermind behind the arrest of American vlogger Elliot Eastman,
00:20who was identified as Ustadz Jaqaira Jamani, the so-called mastermind who planned the arrest of the American vlogger.
00:30According to the Police Regional Office 9 Acting Spokesperson, Lt. Col. Mon Sawan, the suspect was arrested under the warrant of arrest for kidnapping and serious illegal detention.
00:42Jamani was arrested on Tuesday afternoon by PNP men on the boundary of the Zamboanga City and Basilan Strait.
00:51We have arrested Jamani Jaqaira. He is one of the last two people we are looking for related to the case of Elliot Eastman.
01:04Jamani Jaqaira is one of those who planned the abduction of Elliot Eastman.
01:12Jamani is said to be with Walid Ali Abdul Sahibad, and another one, in the kidnapping of Eastman at his wife's house in Cebuco, Zamboanga City on October 17, 2024.
01:26Ali surrendered to the authorities while Sahibad died in the operation.
01:31Meanwhile, another suspect has not yet been caught.
01:35The PNP confirmed last month that Eastman was already dead due to a bullet in his body and he was thrown into the sea by the escaped suspects.
01:45Eastman was abducted by four armed men who introduced themselves to the police in the town of Cebuco.
01:51According to the authorities, Eastman was shot, stabbed, and put on a speedboat.
01:58In the last part of September, Eastman posted a vlog on the video streaming app and mentioned the possible arrest of the suspect.
