00:00Good evening, it is Friday the 10th of January 2025, and these are the latest transfer headlines from across Yorkshire.
00:07First of all, Huddersfield Town, the long-awaited signing of Joe Taylor from Luton Town, has been complete.
00:12He's been lauded as a major coup for the Terriers, previously really impressed at League One level during a loan spell at Lincoln City.
00:20There's been an update on Louis Barry. He's a player who has been linked with the Clutcher Championship Clubs, Leeds, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough,
00:27Middlesbrough, all linked with the Aston Villa man. Unai Emery has come out and said a decision has not been made on whether he will be staying at Villa or heading out on loan again.
00:36If he does stay at Villa, it will be a huge disappointment for the raft of Championship Clubs that have all been linked with him.
00:42Over at Hull City, they've signed former Rotherham United and Middlesbrough midfielder Matt Crooks, a really imposing midfield presence experienced at 30 years old.
00:51He's been playing his trade over in America with Real Salt Lake. He's now joined Hull on a two and a half year deal with the option of a further year.
00:58Over at Bradford City, they'll be retaining the services of Jack Sheppard until the end of the season. He's on loan from Barnsley and following discussions between the clubs,
01:06Sheppard will be remaining a Bantam, certainly for this season at least.
01:11And Grant McCann has reassured Doncaster Rovers supporters that they are close to completing some transfer business. It's been a little bit of a slow start to the window for Doncaster.
01:18They were linked with Matthew Craig, who had been on loan at Barnsley from Tottenham Hotspur.
01:22He was recalled by Tottenham, but didn't get sent back to Doncaster where he finished last season.
01:27Instead, staying in League One and signing for Mansfield Town.
01:30Over at Rotherham United, Steve Evans has confirmed Christ Tehee could be on his way out.
01:35A fee has been agreed with a club in Europe.
01:37It now just remains to be seen whether that deal gets wrapped up and whether his days at Rotherham will be officially brought to an end.
