00:00Good afternoon, it is Monday the 13th of January 2025 and here are the latest transfer headlines
00:05from across Yorkshire. We'll start with Sheffield United and they are clearly a club that want
00:10to strengthen this window and they've been linked with three different strikers. Obviously
00:14unlikely that they've got all three but very interesting to see the names being linked.
00:18Tom Cannon, a Leicester City player who's currently on at Stoke, has been linked with
00:22a raft of Championship clubs and Sheffield United are reportedly interested in him. The
00:28Blades are also reported to be interested in Ben Burriton-Diaz, obviously someone Blades
00:32fans know really well. Ended the last season on loan at Bramall Lane from Villarreal, joined
00:37Southampton on a permanent deal in the summer. Hasn't quite worked out for him and he is
00:41thought to favour a move back to Bramall Lane. Another familiar face, Sheffield United, have
00:46been linked with is Ollie McBurney. Allowed his Sheffield United contract to expire at
00:50the end of last season, signed for Las Palmas in Spain, yet to open his account in La Liga
00:55and has been linked with a return to Sheffield United. Over at Doncaster Rovers and they've
01:00been linked with a loan move for Leeds United midfielder Charlie Crewe. He's a very talented
01:04young midfielder, 18 years old, already capped by Wales at senior level and reports have
01:09indicated that Doncaster are closing in on signing Crewe on a temporary basis. Over at
01:14Middlesbrough and Sky Sports have said that Emmanuel Laté-Latte has been the subject
01:18of an £18m bid from MLS side Atlante United. That is an offer Middlesbrough are believed
01:24to be mulling over, although it's said a sale is unlikely if they can't line up a replacement.
01:30Over at Hillsborough and Sheffield Wednesday have been linked with Kilmarnock prospect
01:33Duncan Barlow. Not made a first team breakthrough north of the border in Scotland, but said
01:38to be very talented, 17 years old, has impressed at youth level, but other English clubs are
01:43believed to be interested in him, reports in the media have claimed. Back to Leeds,
01:49another potential exit at Elland Road, Joe Gelhart appears to be nearing a loan move
01:53to Hull City. Really falling down the pecking order at Elland Road, but a loan move to Hull
01:58could potentially give him the minutes he needs to get his career back on track. Reports
02:02have indicated that he has travelled for a medical. And speaking of Hull, reports have
02:07also suggested that the Tigers have had a bid rejected for Morgan Whittaker, a talismanic
02:11figure for Plymouth Argyll is Whittaker, and Burnley have also been strongly linked with
02:16him, but a bid from Hull and Burnley have reportedly been rejected by Plymouth.
