00:00The Department of Interior and Local Government, or DILG, and other agencies of the government believe
00:06that there is a grand conspiracy or a big conspiracy in the hands of the Philippine National Police.
00:11This is to hide a business inside an institution that is related to drugs.
00:17According to DILG Secretary John Vick Remulia,
00:20they have nothing to prove to the police involved in the administrative case.
00:25The DOJ also believes that the case against the 36 police officers,
00:30including the two generals,
00:32due to the planting of evidence and mishandling of a high-profile case
00:36related to the possession of more than 900 kilos of shabu,
00:42which is worth 6.7 billion pesos in Tondo, Manila, in October 2022.
00:48For now, DILG plans to backtrack their investigation from 2016
00:54against the police who may be involved in the manipulation of illegal drugs
01:00due to the so-called reward system.
