00:00Some projects of the DSWD, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. refused to include in the unprogrammed appropriation of the agency for the next year.

00:15President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. refused to include in the unprogrammed appropriation of the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD in 2026.
00:26Under the assistance of the President of the DSWD in Malacanang, the Chief Executive also gave that the programs of the agency should be included in the budget for the next year
00:37and from then on, it will be included in the budget and will not be included in the unprogrammed appropriation.
00:43The President should say that the programs that will be funded are already in place so that the needs of the people can also benefit quickly.
00:53Remember that the budget of the DSWD is 10.85 billion pesos or 4.79% for this year.
01:03This is from the previous 226.67 billion pesos that was included in the National Expenditure Program that became 215.82 billion pesos that is included in 2025 GAA.
01:17It is known that the DSWD is asking for more than P41 million pesos as additional funds that will be collected from the Unprogrammed Appropriations
01:27and to be used in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4P's from August to December this year.
01:34The 4P's is one of the programs included in the Unprogrammed Appropriations of the DSWD.
01:41The Unprogrammed Appropriations is a fund that can only be used if the government's income exceeds the expected target or if there are additional grants or foreign funds received.
01:54The Programmed Appropriations on the other hand is a fund or budget where it is clearly programmed or planned as compared to the particular projects that will be used within a fiscal year.
