00:00So, who else is there for me to talk about at Newcastle United than Alexander Isak.
00:06Now he set a club record of scoring in 8 consecutive Premier League matches with 2 strikes against
00:11Wolves on Wednesday night. He beat Alan Shearer and Joe Willock to that particular record
00:17and he's now among just Jamie Vardy, Dan Mules-Sturridge and Ruud van Nistelrooy. They're only players
00:21in Premier League history to have done that. I mean, what can you say about Isak? Not just
00:26his time at Newcastle but even before that, people who have followed his career will know
00:30he was such a talented player. He lost his way a little bit at Sossiedad and Dortmund
00:34but at Newcastle United, he's found a home and he's been absolutely brilliant. In the
00:37last couple of months, it's been just typically Isak and why he's so highly valued by not
00:44just the fans but by the club as well. Arsenal transfer talk, they can talk all they want
00:49unless they're going to stump up probably £150 odd million plus, then they're going
00:52to get nowhere near his valuation. But enough about Arsenal talk, let's just talk about
00:56Isak. His finishing is fantastic, bar the odd 1-on-1, we all know that. But when he
01:01gets a chance, like yesterday when that ball was fed through by Bruno for his second goal,
01:05you never thought he'd miss. It was just an instinctual finish, touch of the left, fire
01:09with the right. Alan Shearer whacks lyrical about him on Match of the Day and to be fair,
01:14what higher praise can you get other than that? He's a brilliant, brilliant player and
01:19one that you don't bet against him getting more to his game and potentially creeping
01:23up to Jamie Vardy's record of 11 games in a row. They've got Bournemouth on Saturday,
01:28that's a game he could score in. Southampton away next weekend and then Fulham at home
01:32and then if he scores three in them, he'll have tied the record. So yeah, obviously looking
01:36too far, maybe looking a little bit too far in the future but he's absolutely brilliant.
01:39I think this video is just for me to profess how brilliant I think Alexander Isak is and
01:46I'm sure lots of you watching this will agree with me, he's absolutely fantastic. Priceless
01:50to Newcastle, I said £150m, he is priceless to Newcastle. In the front three, with Jacob
01:56Murphy and Anthony Gordon right now, they are almost unplayable. And yeah, if he can
02:01stay fit, that's the one thing Newcastle need to do. Newcastle really need to keep him fit
02:04but if they can keep him fit this year, then really the sky's the limit for not just him
02:07but for Newcastle United as well.
