00:00Good evening everyone, I am delighted to see you for this new information meeting on Médien TV.
00:22On high royal instructions, the Ministry of the Interior announces the global mobilization of resources to protect more than 870,000 citizens against the cold wave that Morocco is experiencing.
00:36As expected, the ceasefire in Gaza came into force this morning, the Israeli army suspended its bombings, the first humanitarian aid trucks entered and the first exchange of hostages took place.
00:52In the United States, Donald Trump will take his oath tomorrow. For the first time in 40 years, the investiture of the 47th American president will take place inside the Capitol due to a severe cold.
01:07And I was saying on high royal instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the services of the Ministry of the Interior have mobilized in collaboration with the other ministerial departments, concerned administrations and several stakeholders to take urgent logistical and human measures
01:34in order to assist citizens in the face of the cold wave experienced by several regions of the kingdom.
01:42An announcement from the Ministry of the Interior in a statement tonight. In this context, the Wali of the regions and the governors of the concerned provinces are invited to mobilize to ensure the follow-up of the evolution of the situation, coordinate the interventions and take the preventive and proactive measures necessary through a set of actions aimed at alleviating the burden of the populations in the face of the cold.
02:12And to talk about this mobilization with us live from Casablanca, Abdelatef Komat, Dean of the Faculty of Juridical, Economic and Social Sciences of Casablanca. Abdelatef Komat, good evening.
02:27Good evening.
02:30So, on high royal instructions, this plan aims to alleviate the burden of the populations affected by the cold wave. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the plan developed for this winter season expands the base of the targeted populations and targets 28 prefectures and provinces.
02:50Indeed, I would say that this is a plan that is usually mobilized during these periods of cold, but with two major peculiarities on royal instructions.
03:03First of all, the expansion to more than 185 wards, to reach more than 2,000 wards, which will be covered by this royal attention. And of course, the number of people will exceed 870,000, with more than 169,000 families.
03:23So, it is a cover operation that will spread over 28 provinces and prefectures. So, it is a very large operation that demonstrates, of course, the interest of His Majesty to his population in a general way, but of course to the population that is subject to an impact,
03:46given this cold wave, which is healthy on a plan for the other country, because it is a very, very large water reserve. But of course, there is a population that is at risk of suffering from this cold.
03:56And so, that's the first part. The second part is the particular attention, and there also on royal instructions, given to the regions that have been affected, I would say, recently by two events, which are first of all, of course, the earthquake in the House.
04:11And of course, there is a whole momentum, a plan that is there, there are housing that are under construction, but it still remains a rather vulnerable population, and His Majesty around his protection.
04:28And then, of course, there are also the regions that have been affected by floods. There, too, we remember, a few months ago, there were regions that were fully affected by floods. There, too, there is a particular attention towards these populations, to say that it is a measure, I would say today, things are more or less controlled, but I would say it is the day before, and then, of course, it denotes this royal attention given to the population in a general way.
04:58So, in order to face this wave of cold and support the most affected populations, the Ministry of the Interior activates a command and surveillance center. What are, in your opinion, the missions assigned to this center, which is part of the Ministry of the Interior, precisely?
05:18So, this center has several missions. First of all, of course, missions with regard to the population to allow it to continue to be endowed with means of survival in terms of food and priority and essential needs, but also means of heating, because it is still vital and, of course, we are aware of the sensitivity of this issue.
05:42Secondly, on deforestation. And there, of course, there is the provision, in proximity to the regions, which are relatively more exposed to the equipment that is necessary for, precisely, the thaw, to ensure the fluidity of the roads, and the roads, we know, are very important, in particular, to ensure the mobilization of means of food and, of course, means of survival, as well for the populations.
06:10And then, also, and this is very important for cattle, there is also a particular attention to continue to feed the regions with fodder, so that there is a preservation of the shepherd, and we know that these regions are regions that live from agriculture, that live from breeding.
06:26And, of course, it is also necessary to ensure the continuity, of course, of the provision of cattle with food products. And, of course, there is also, and this is a very important issue, a watch regarding all the support that would be necessary for people who would be, I would say, in a situation of fragility in terms of health.
06:48Perhaps, sometimes, there are births of women, there are very sensitive issues on the human level, and there is, of course, the mobilization of helicopters, means of transport, in order to provide support to any population that would be in a situation, I would say, very vulnerable.
07:04And to say that it is a global and integrated plan, in which there is the human dimension, of course, but also all the means of survival, and then, of course, everything that is a means of decolonization, and we know the problem of decolonization, to which these regions are exposed during these periods of intense cold.
07:23I recall this figure. So, this global mobilization aims to protect some 870,000 citizens in the face of the cold wave. Abdelatef Komat, I remind you that you are the Dean of the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Casablanca. Thank you for answering our questions.
07:44Thank you for the invitation.
07:47In international news, the Israeli army has recovered in the Gaza Strip today three Israeli hostages released by Hamas.
07:58This is what we learn in a military statement published at the end of the afternoon, which specifies that soldiers of an elite unit accompany the three hostages to the Israeli territory, where they will undergo a first medical examination.
08:17And it was so expected. After 15 months of war, the ceasefire came into force this morning in Gaza.
08:25The Treaty of Treves provides for a cessation of hostilities and the release of 33 Israeli hostages in a first phase, which will last six weeks.
08:34In exchange, Israel will have to release some 730 Palestinian prisoners.
08:38Although Egyptian sources mention the release of nearly 1,900 Palestinian prisoners during this same period.
08:49The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza has finally come into force.
08:55After 15 months of massacres in the Palestinian territory, Israel has confirmed the agreement.
09:00Although it was delayed by nearly three hours due to the publication by Hamas, names of the hostages must be released.
09:08The Palestinian government has explained this delay by complications on the ground and the pursuit of bombings.
09:14Benyamin Netanyahu said that it was a provisional ceasefire and that his country reserved the right to resume hostilities if necessary.
09:23This Treaty of Treves provides for a cessation of hostilities and the release of 33 Israeli hostages in a first phase, which will last six weeks.
09:31Three Israeli hostages have been placed at the southern border of Israel with Gaza.
09:37Kerem Shalom, Eretz and those close to Kibbutz Rehim will receive hostages.
09:42The Israeli army has the obligation to return all hostages.
09:46The Shin Bet and the FDI will continue to do everything they can to ensure that all hostages return home,
09:52whether through operational activity and intelligence or through a Bosh agreement.
09:57In exchange, Israel will have to release 737 Palestinian prisoners,
10:02although Egyptian sources mention the release of more than 1,890 prisoners during this same period.
10:08Among these last figures is Zakaria al-Zoubaidi, former head of the Fatah army branch, arrested in 2019.
10:15According to US President Joe Biden, the first phase of the agreement also includes an Israeli withdrawal from densely populated areas in Gaza
10:22and an increase in humanitarian aid in the territory threatened by famine, according to the UN.
10:28In this sense, Egypt has specified that 600 aid trucks, including 50 fuel trucks, will enter every day.
10:34We hope that this dream will last and that it will mark the end of this bloodbath that our people have sacrificed so much.
10:41We have paid a very heavy price, calling on the free peoples of the world to stand by our people.
10:46The Palestinians have suffered too much. We hope that this ordeal will finally end and that the occupation will end.
10:53During the negotiations, the second phase should allow the release of the last hostages,
10:59followed by a third phase dedicated to the reconstruction of Gaza and the restitution of the bodies of the dead hostages.
11:05Hostile to this dream agreement, the party of the Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gir,
11:10announced that he was leaving Netanyahu's coalition, whose government still retains a short majority in parliament.
11:22And as mentioned in the subject that we have just followed, the first phase of this agreement includes an Israeli withdrawal from densely populated areas in Gaza
11:32and an increase in humanitarian aid, according to Joe Biden's statements.
11:35Amjad Shihab is a professor of political science at the University of Al-Quds.
11:40He explains to us the scope of this first phase of the Trev Agreement.
11:45The main reason for the Palestinian negotiators is to bring in humanitarian aid and stop the carnage, the massacre.
11:56So it was the condition that the negotiators, even the Egyptian Qatari mediators, insisted on the fact that we must save as many lives as possible
12:11because the blockade or the prohibition of bringing in even the minimum amount of humanitarian aid caused a lot of deaths on the Palestinian side
12:22which made the situation unbearable and catastrophic on a medical level.
12:28They even prohibited the entry of medical aid.
12:33And above all, they bombed the medicines and the places where they were distributing the humanitarian aid, which was lacking, with minimum quantities.
12:46They also bombed, which was the target of Israeli bombing.
12:53From there, the first request was to bring in the trucks carrying humanitarian aid.
13:04We noticed that as soon as the agreement came into effect, the trucks began to enter the Gaza Strip to relieve and help those who had suffered for 10 months,
13:24long months of suffering and lack of food and medical aid.
13:30Gaza, which is cruelly lacking everything after months of devastating war, food, drinking water, medicines and basic infrastructure.
13:42The first aid trucks, after the start of the ceasefire, crossed the crossing points of Zikim and Karim Abu Salim, as we learned this morning.
13:50According to the World Food Programme, the first trucks carrying flour and food parcels entered Gaza this morning.
14:03Our title of international news is in the United States, back to the White House.
14:09Donald Trump will once again swear, it will be tomorrow, inside the Capitol.
14:13For the first time in 40 years, because of a great cold, the point on the preparations of the ceremony with Sheyma El Fekir.
14:23For the first time in 40 years, the oath of office of Donald Trump will take place inside the Capitol, under his rotunda.
14:30The 47th President of the United States announced on Friday that he had renounced his vestige ceremony,
14:36which takes place, as tradition requires, outside the Capitol, seat of the Congress, due to the polar cold that will sweep the federal capital on Monday.
14:46Before arriving in Washington on Saturday night, accompanied by his wife Melania and their son Barron,
14:52Donald Trump had promised that he would immediately sign a record number of presidential decrees as soon as he took office.
14:59In front of the press, the Republican mentioned a fork of at least a hundred decrees, using the prerogatives of the executive power.
15:07Expelling 102 million clandestine customs officers against Mexican and Canadian neighbors and the Chinese rival,
15:14deregulation in energy and climate thanks to his supporters of the assault on the Capitol in January 2021,
15:20Trump repeated several times his intention to dismantle the policies set up by his predecessor,
15:27Democratic President Joe Biden, who will leave office on Monday at noon.
15:32The President of the United States announced that from his oath of office, he would implement the largest expulsion program in the history of the country.
15:40He assured that this operation, targeting about 11 million documents in a country of 340 million inhabitants, would begin very quickly.
15:47However, he avoided giving details on the cities concerned.
15:52One of his allies, Tom Homan, told him that the actions would take place at the national level.
16:01And compared to his program, more than half of Americans would approve the policies announced by President-elect Donald Trump,
16:09which aim to expel irregular immigrants and reduce American involvement abroad.
16:14This is what a poll conducted jointly by the New York Times and the Ipsos Center affirms.
16:22The survey revealed that 87% of respondents, half of whom were Hispanics, and 44% Democrats,
16:32support the policy of expelling irregular immigrants that Trump promised to implement as soon as he takes office tomorrow.
16:41The New York billionaire, who took office in 2016, is no longer a real estate agent.
16:48At 78 years old, he is an undisputed elected president after a massive victory.
16:53He is a confident Donald Trump and his team, who arrive at the White House.
16:58As a reminder, he is the second American president to impose himself after having to leave office for the first time.
17:06This means that his return has disrupted the forecasts.
17:08I propose you to follow his portrait made by Sohail Jalil.
17:15Who is Donald Trump? Businessman, billionaire, real estate agent,
17:21Donald Trump was the 45th president of the United States of America and he will be the 47th.
17:27Indeed, after defeating Hillary Clinton in 2016, he was defeated in 2020 by Joe Biden,
17:32before taking his revenge and being re-elected in 2024 against Kamala Harris.
17:38Born on June 14, 1946 in New York, his father, Fred Trump, of German origin, is a rich real estate agent.
17:46His mother, Mary Ann McLeod, is Scottish.
17:49During his youth, Donald Trump has a difficult adolescence.
17:53He was sent to a military school before joining, in 1968, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania,
18:00where he studies commerce.
18:03At the same time, he also works for his father's company, which sells housing to the middle class New Yorkers,
18:09including the outskirts of Brooklyn, Staten Island and Queens.
18:12Donald Trump then begins his career as an independent real estate agent, based in Manhattan.
18:18In 1977, he meets his first wife, a Czech athlete and model, Ivana Zelnikova.
18:24Together, they have three children, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump.
18:28Throughout his career, the billionaire is interested in politics.
18:32He does not delay investing in a party either.
18:35In the 1980s, he went from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party under the presidency of Ronald Reagan.
18:42After several projects of aborted candidacy, he presented himself to the primaries of the Republican Party in June 2015,
18:48under the slogan Make America Great Again.
18:51He was elected candidate of the Conservative Party for the US presidential election in July 2016,
18:58facing Democrat and former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
19:01Throughout the campaign, the scrutiny remains tight.
19:05Donald Trump wins the elections thanks to his majority within the Electoral College on November 8, 2016,
19:11and becomes the 45th president of the United States.
19:13Four years later, on November 7, 2020,
19:16his contrasted assessment and the disastrous image he carried on the international scene
19:21allow his Democratic opponent Joe Biden to win.
19:24On January 6, 2021, some of his supporters invade the Capitol, the seat of the American Congress.
19:30During the four years that followed, from 2020 to 2024,
19:34Donald Trump did not stop working for his return to power,
19:37while managing the many judicial proceedings,
19:39such as the dissolution proceedings, the detour case, the Stormy Daniels case.
19:45He must defend himself on several fronts and deny everything in block.
19:48However, he was sentenced in May 2023 by a Manhattan court to pay $5 million to E. Gene Carroll,
19:55who accused him of rape in 2019 and defamation.
19:58Judicial proceedings do not prevent him from running for presidency.
20:02In the spring of 2024, he imposes himself as the only Republican candidate.
20:05Faced with him, Joe Biden weakens, gives his place to his vice president Kamala Harris.
20:11The latter manages to mobilize the Democratic forces,
20:14but Donald Trump, also targeted by two assassination attempts,
20:18leads a very hard and intense campaign.
20:21At the end of a confrontation that has now entered history,
20:24Donald Trump ends up winning and becomes president of his country again.
20:28Direction Tunisia now,
20:31Abir Moussi, president of the Free Austrian Party,
20:35is still behind bars.
20:38His supporters have yet to demonstrate to demand his release,
20:42but also those of the so-called prisoners of Tunisian opinion.
20:46Nacho Abacha gives us the point.
20:49Armed with Tunisian flags and singing the national anthem,
20:53the supporters of the Free Austrian Party
20:57demonstrated on Saturday,
21:00chanting slogans calling for the release of political prisoners.
21:04The participants walked through the arteries of the capital,
21:08expressing their anger and their demands.
21:12We organized this march,
21:15which was followed by a demonstration in front of the Ministry of Women,
21:19and we chanted national slogans
21:21denouncing the general situation of the country,
21:25the economic, social and humanitarian situation.
21:28We also came today to denounce the Tunisian judicial system,
21:33which we consider as non-independent.
21:36Today, Tunisian prisons are full of victims of the decree 54.
21:45Usually, after each election,
21:48the president becomes the president of the whole people.
21:51This did not happen in Tunisia,
21:54so Tunisians are not satisfied.
21:57During this demonstration,
21:59the Free Austrian Party also expressed its unconditional support
22:03for its president, Rabir Moussi,
22:06who has been imprisoned since October 2023.
22:09The demonstrators demanded the immediate release of Rabir Moussi
22:13and held the authorities responsible for any harm
22:17she might suffer during her detention.
22:20As a lawyer, I confirm that in the case of Rabir Moussi,
22:25we went from a judicial case to a political case par excellence.
22:30This is why we called for this demonstration.
22:34Here are photos of journalists arrested because of the decree 54,
22:39set up to destroy families.
22:42I am talking about Sonia Dahmeni,
22:45the journalist and lawyer who spoke of her homeland
22:47with pain and honesty.
22:50As a result, she ended up in prison.
22:54Mohamed Bouraleb, also a journalist,
22:57denounced corruption and ended up in prison.
23:00Likewise, Rabir Moussi was accused of plotting
23:03against the security of the state,
23:06accusations that confirm that we are now facing
23:09a justice that is not independent.
23:12It should be noted that the opposition
23:14organized three consecutive demonstrations this week,
23:19denouncing the decree 54,
23:22a controversial legislation perceived as repressive,
23:26and demanded the release of prisoners of opinion,
23:29in particular political opponents incarcerated.

25:36The symphony of peace, the night of the painted.
25:39The exhibition, Painting Peace,
25:42will be among the highlights of this 21st edition.

26:06You
