Most of us will see Council Tax bills going up this April. Do you feel we get good value for money, and in which areas could the council improve?
Transcript
00:00I know it goes up every year and I expect that. All the council's budgets are tighter,
00:06that's what we hear on the news all the time. I think the biggest problem locally are potholes
00:11on the roads. I don't know if that's county council or local council though. I'm happy
00:17with bin collections, I think they grit the roads quite well.
00:20I think it's accurate because I'm paying like £132 for a month council tax and it's only
00:27like for 10 months because two of them are free in it. I've been yesterday here watching
00:34the derby game and the police, even horse police, have been taking health and safety
00:42issues on very high standards.
00:45I'm from Wakefield, I've travelled to Leeds for college, but I think in Wakefield the
00:50roads are quite bad. So I think I'd like to see roads improved. I've been doing my driving
00:54lessons at the minute and some of the roads have been actually awful.
