00:00Carver High getting involved on a Thursday as we uh start talking about these title games and
00:06we'll start it off with the Eagles and Commanders. Yes our uh first game on Sunday will of course be
00:15the NFC one by the way uh quickly 80-67 Spurs now about midway through the third quarter we get the
00:23fourth three from Wembenyama uh but we need as you were saying to Gabe uh we need Siakam to pick
00:30it up a little bit he's only got nine uh they're trailing so hopefully we can get him cooking so
00:35that we can get out to the window uh with that right we start with the first game Eagles and
00:41Washington at the link and Saquon Barkley what a first year he has had in the city of brotherly
00:49love as he gets a chance to go to his first Super Bowl if he can win on Sunday facing a team for a
00:55third time we hear about this a lot in the playoffs Barkley says at the end of the day
01:00who cares you just got to play your best fortunately I've been a part of it unfortunately
01:04I was on the wrong side of it um playing the team three times and when I turn the heat off in there
01:10I think in those games what matters the most is it really comes down to who wants it more all that
01:16how everyone's playing how confident you are uh I've been on the side where you know we just beat
01:22Minnesota um number two or number three team or seed I forgot what they were uh on a roll win and
01:29you know we came in to Philly with all the confidence that we're gonna come win that
01:32football game and before you know it we blinked it was 28 nothing uh so these games will come down
01:38to what football is all about you got to establish a line scrimmage um create tone
01:46overs don't turn the ball over make explosive plays and find a way to get an end zone and stop
01:50them from getting an end zone so uh everyone could get caught up with emotions and the vision
01:55revivals and this stuff like that all that stuff is just nonsense it don't matter it matters what
02:00you do on the football field yeah I don't really believe any of that look I saw the commanders
02:06play them and turn the ball over six times and still win the game I have never in my life
02:14seen a team turn the ball over six times and win a football game in the national football league
02:19except that game and the game that they lost in Philly was 26-18 both games were epic I think
02:28this game's going to be epic obviously he is the difference maker for the Eagles and only him
02:36I got to be frank I'm not afraid of anyone on that team like like you know extremely
02:43dangerous players I you know I don't buy it I just you know I got one guy reading books on
02:50the sideline I'm not you know what has he done he he didn't do anything in the playoffs Brown
02:55and then Smith what did he do he did less than Brown and then what did Goddard do he did more
03:01than both of them right and then their quarterbacks all banged up he had a concussion
03:06now he's got a bad knee and I'll give you this Barkley and that defense is the reason they're in
03:12this game and Barkley and that defense will be the reason they win that game but I don't see it
03:18I really don't I don't think they can stop this kid this kid is on a different level he's on a
03:25heater he's on a tear he's on a roll he's on a bagel a wheat then a wafer a croissant my man is
03:33on a mission from God like the Blues Brothers this guy Jaden Daniels man he's winning football games
03:42by himself and I'll tell you another guy doing it is Josh Allen give me the commanders and the bills
03:49and let's all sleep better at night I've had enough of this other nonsense I've already seen
03:54the Eagles and Chiefs once I had enough of it can't have it uh nobody wants to have that again
04:01that's for sure on the Washington side of things of course one guy's been there for a while through
04:08uh the pretty bad times in Washington and now is there for some of the good times that is wide
04:14receiver Terry McLaurin who's had a huge year of course with Daniels uh he says this is great
04:20to come this far for the first time but job's not done DQ talks a lot about leveling up being
04:27better each each week and I feel like we've answered that call and uh it's going to take
04:31our best this week to be able to uh to win and uh in Philly so um it's been great to be a part of
04:38this but um you know uh we're not really celebrating or reminiscing because the job's not done yet so
04:45we're looking forward to the challenge this weekend but I'm um I'm proud of the way that
04:49we have um just continue to get better each and every week and we still have don't feel like we've
04:54reached our ceiling so to feel that way in this part of the season um you couldn't ask for more
05:00so everything we want style in front of us but um we're focused on preparing the white ray so we
05:04could go into this game uh fully ready to go I gotta tell you Mike I think uh the key for me is
05:10is that you know there is an edge for the Eagles playing at the link they're really tough at home
05:17there's no doubt about it and I think that they have to the commanders have to be in a vacuum a
05:24little bit when they get into that um you know building when they get on that field
05:30and when they're warming up and everything else and they're going to get a lot of abuse and they're
05:34going to get a lot of heat they're going to get a lot of foul language they're going to get a lot of
05:38hate and vitriol but I think that it really to me boils down in you know the horse blinders
05:46ignore everything don't get caught up in any of it and then go out and be you because what I've
05:53seen is they just went into a place that's every bit as hostile as the link every bit it's louder
06:01it's indoors it's louder inside Ford Field than it is outdoors at the link outdoors they scream
06:08and yell and it goes into the into the air inside it's like you're in a box and it's painfully loud
06:15and annoying and disturbing and it'll throw you off your game and they beat the living shack
06:22out of the lions I mean didn't everyone say the lions are better than the eagles
06:27who was the number one seed and they put 45 in their tuchus they have to ignore the link
06:34and they have to go out and be themselves and play football the way they've been playing
06:40because they've been playing in my opinion unequivocally better than the bills better than
06:46the chiefs better than everybody the best team in the NFL playoffs this year has been the Washington
06:52commanders they've been the most exciting they went down to the wire at Raymond James and they
06:57won that game and a guy kicked the ball off the upright it still went in with his OCD the whole
07:02thing was magnificent what a game then they go and they just punch the lions in the throat and
07:08steal their women and children and now they're going to do the same thing in Philly you can just
07:13feel it coming can't you feel you can feel it coming and part of the reason why as you've been
07:19mentioning is because of Jaden Daniels uh here he is he's got a chance to do something he weighs 40
07:25pounds been done before a rookie quarterback to start in the Super Bowl it has never happened I
07:32actually have the list I'll give it to you after the break of the six before him uh who failed but
07:37here is Daniels on potentially being the first to get to do that what would it mean for you to you
07:42if you were the first rookie quarterback to take a team to the Super Bowl uh man I'm not even
07:47thinking that far um you know it will obviously be a blessing but you know I'm just focused on
07:53you know how can I be better day by day well very well I mean honestly how pathetic was that answer
08:01like I would have been like you remember look do you remember Joe Namath Joe Namath was sitting
08:07around a on a at a swimming pool on a on a like a you know naked with a swimsuit on with his hairy
08:16chest and he had every chick in America wanted to have sex with him and he knew it he had a tan he
08:21was in Miami he got it all going laying out cop and race pearly whites beautiful as they come
08:29I mean I mean very sexiest man alive like just admit it admit it what would it mean to you to be
08:36the first rookie to go to the Super Bowl and that's badass are you kidding me what I would
08:42have said is literally I would have said this was it I mean if I get this done I'm gonna make a
08:48fortune I'm gonna make a fortune is what's gonna happen he's he's very humble he doesn't oh yeah
08:55Jesus loves him he needs to have a sandwich he's skinny he's gonna do what got him here he's gonna
09:02keep his head down and he's gonna praise the lord uh I will give you some numbers on what the previous
09:07rookie quarterbacks did uh in these title games when we come back all right Carver hi uh give me
09:12this uh rookie list of guys that have made it to the title game all right so uh Jaden Daniels will
09:20be the sixth rookie quarterback to reach the conference championship game now the previous five
09:27when oh and five uh obviously nobody has been able to do it now who is on that illustrious list
09:331999 Sean King for Tampa 2004 Ben Roethlisberger Steelers 2008 Joe Flacco Ravens 2009 Mark Sanchez
09:46with the Jets and then two years ago uh 2022 three years at this point uh Brock Purdy with
09:54the Niners when they lost that game in Philly to the Eagles so Jaden Daniels the sixth with an
10:00opportunity uh and the could be the first one to actually get it done and punch his ticket there
10:08well uh you know you can sit here and think about all those guys they all had a shot and um
10:14you know there were a couple of them I think that were exciting I don't think anyone's as
10:20exciting as this kid I mean honestly like this guy stands out like a sore thumb when it comes
10:28to his talent Mike like what we're watching here like first of all I have never in my life
10:34seen a guy I really haven't who would you say is the closest thing that resembles someone that
10:43led six comebacks and they scored in the last 10 seconds or in overtime to win a game and also
10:48threw a hail Mary 60 yards for a 30 name one guy in the NFL that you've ever seen do that like who
10:56is such a you know cardiac comeback quarterback that he you can immediately mention his name
11:03right now that he's done that that you've seen anyone do that six times I've never seen anyone
11:08do it so I think he's better than every single one of those guys you just mentioned including my
11:14favorite Ben Roethlisberger I would say there's no doubt that at this point you know you think
11:22about think about some of these guys though that got there you know you want to say the word and
11:27I know that some people don't like this term game manager you know just kind of you know they weren't
11:33the real reason the team got there you know you can say that about Sanchez I think you can say
11:37that about Flacco that year Flacco ended up winning a Super Bowl years later and he was a
11:42total badass doing it but that first year that they made the title game you know he kind of just
11:48pushed the offensive long they had a great defense even Ben's first year you know this I mean the
11:54Steelers didn't ask Ben to do the stuff he would eventually be asked to do down the road in his
12:01first year it was just drive the car just don't crash it just drive the car Daniels has done more
12:08than all these guys in his first year in terms of he's elevated the entire franchise those guys
12:15walked into situations with ready-made teams and they were rookie quarterbacks taking their team
12:21entirely this kid has elevated this entire franchise to new heights and gotten him to this
12:27spot I think that he's got a shot you know a thing that stands out to me about it is is the
12:34athleticism I think what we're seeing is right before our very eyes that nowadays here we are
12:42in 2025 we're seeing athletes come along that are faster quicker jump higher do things that we've
12:53never seen before people think that they're all the same these quarterbacks through the years and
12:59they're not they do get better they do get quicker they do get stronger and faster and they are
13:08smarter they're different we haven't seen an athlete come along like this now people said
13:14that Richardson was you know this pure you know stud athlete the size and everything about him
13:22right I don't agree with that I think he's obviously ripped but I think this kid is the
13:29most athletic thing I've ever seen at the position and he's as skinny as a rail he's got no meat on
13:37his bones whatsoever but it doesn't matter because nobody can catch him like he's literally breaking
13:43ankles and he throws ropes he's got it all and listen I will say this again like there isn't even
13:52a comparison for me with Caleb Williams Caleb Williams to me is the prototypical big strong
13:58arm quarterback that the NFL lives for and that they crave and that they draft this kid
14:06is so different from him body weight size strength speed everything he's so different
14:15from Caleb Williams and to me he's so much better than Caleb Williams it's not even funny
14:21I think it's going to take Caleb Williams years to go to a Super Bowl if ever and this kid I
14:29think is going to Super Bowl in two weeks very possible I always give you this before
14:36Eagle home playoff games especially the last few years and that's hurts at home in the playoffs
14:42he's four and oh uh three and one ats now the one uh loss was last week uh because they did not
14:49uh cover that game against the rams so that was the first time they didn't cover a game
14:53I don't think it's because it has been the quarterback no uh but I really don't there
14:58they've they've been able to get it done uh with it whether it's him or the whole team they've
15:03gotten it done while he's been there falls was a better quarterback than him like I don't finish
15:10the job I feel like I'm watching a um I feel like I'm watching a running back play quarterback
15:20I'm not even like I just I don't I don't feel like he's a quarterback I really don't I just
15:26I feel like he's a running back and to me falls was a quarterback and he won the Super Bowl and
15:33hurts didn't okay so that's that so like you can people can say all they want there are there you
15:39can't even deny there are people that think that he's an average quarterback that that just aren't
15:44buying his act and not only that um I think that uh Daniels is literally five times better than him
15:53I I think that in the past two years you know when they went to the Super Bowl two years ago
15:58and played Kansas City uh in that game out in Arizona I thought he was excellent that year
16:03I thought he was excellent in that game and not just running I thought throwing he was as well
16:08I think his body has been beaten up so much the last two years that it's deteriorated some of the
16:16other things uh that he was doing well and I think that's part of why he's not the same quarterback
16:22maybe he was two years ago I won't argue with that we have spent a lot of time this week talking about
16:27refs I've got a lot more ref stats for you uh that involve this game why don't we just hear it uh
16:35from the horse's mouth first uh here is Patrick Mahomes being asked uh if he gets special treatment
16:41from the refs if you can't hear the reporter uh in the middle uh question in case it's too low
16:46Scotty he gets asked in the middle you don't think that it's changed over time that you've
16:51gotten more and more uh here's Mahomes um not not I don't feel that way I mean I just try to play
16:57football at the end of the day um the referees are doing their best to to to call the game as
17:02fair and as proper as they possibly can and all you can do is go out there and play the game that
17:06you love as hard as you can and live with the results and so for me it's to go out there um
17:11play hard I do whatever I can to win the football game um and then live with the results based off
17:17my effort and and the way that we played the game and so I think that's that's what we preach here
17:21in Kansas City. Did it feel any different for you as a veteran now did you do you initially earn
17:27a bit of doubt at some point in your career or has it been the same the whole time?
17:31I haven't felt any different um you get new referees every year you get
17:36um new circumstances and you never can um and you never can really tell because every play
17:41is different that's what makes the NFL so special and so I feel like I just continue to play the
17:45game and um I just try to win and uh whatever happens kind of happens. Oh he's so full of
17:51this guy are you kidding me he knows he's an actor I mean he should already have two academy
17:57awards for last week uh he told local radio in Kansas City uh your boy Carrington Harrison uh
18:05that he maybe shouldn't have stumbled and flopped so hard on that remember the one play on the
18:10sideline now he didn't get a flag on that one remember the play where he kind of fell out of
18:14bounds yeah like an extra tumble flop he did say uh that he felt he probably shouldn't have done
18:20that uh taking that little extra stumble uh out of bounds now I have this number for you uh that
18:26I found that I thought uh sums this up even more with his quote that he just made there
18:32uh penalty numbers from the last 11 chief playoff games just the last 11 the chiefs have been called
18:39for 36 penalties for 319 yards their opponents in those 11 games 66 penalties for 541 yards
18:5130 more pounds forget the Mahomes Allen forget who gets the necessary roughness
18:56the other team's been called for 30 more penalties in the last 11 chief playoff games
19:03that's how many and how many of those playoff games are involved in their last three Super Bowls
19:09all of them yeah I mean that's that's it I mean you're talking one this year you're talking four
19:16they played two every year that's it they played two games the division
19:20four last year they had to go the whole way because they started they played in the wild
19:24card round last year they had to go in there they played four games last year
19:30that's three I mean it's you count the Super Bowls too so I mean it's three the year before
19:34that it's the last it's this run last two Super Bowls so in this dynasty they're getting all the
19:41calls good to have you with us from New York on coast to coast on a Thursday along with Carver
19:48High and Pharrell as we continue to talk about the title games on Sunday and we've been hitting
19:55both teams in the NFC we're talking about the AFC now and the refs and you name it
20:02yeah you sent me all these numbers on Cleet Blakeman who of course will call
20:08the Chiefs and the Bills in the AFC title game here we go let me give you some of them
20:13home teams are in NFL worst five and eleven straight up in 2024 five and eleven with Cleet
20:21Blakeman since 2016 home teams ATS are 46 are 46.5 percent so less than 50 percent of the time
20:31home teams cover with Blakeman as the ref 53.5 percent of Blakeman's penalties were assessed
20:37to home teams this year so usually there's a little bit of that bias Scotty that's involved
20:43with home cooking etc things like that Blakeman is the absolute furthest thing from that that
20:52talking point he goes nowhere near the home teams now in terms of these teams significantly
20:58the Bills are six and two straight up and four and four against the spread with Blakeman in the
21:04Josh Allen era the Chiefs are five and six straight up and four six and one ATS with
21:11Blakeman since 2018 but one of those wins was an end of the season game where Mahomes didn't even
21:18play it was Chad Henny in at quarterback so in reality Patrick Mahomes four and six straight up
21:26with Blakeman as the head official you know I'll believe it when I see it you know all of these
21:33stats and numbers and trends and what he's done against the Chiefs all sound wonderful and just
21:42absolutely exciting for me very excited about it but what I want to see is that in the game on
21:50Sunday night I want to see them actually do it call the game fair just call the game fair
21:59if I see bad calls against the Bills early I mean first and second quarter that'll
22:07be all you need to know that if they start calling stuff against Buffalo early that's
22:12all you need to know that they fix games for the Chiefs that's just all there is to it
22:17last week was disgusting no one wants to just call it for what it was it was disgusting those
22:28calls were reprehensible they were awful and they were anemic calls and then you know even when I
22:38watched the Bills game the refs were terrible I thought the holding call on Buffalo was so bad
22:43it was laughable like can we just get refs that call a good game for effing once in the NFL
22:52I've been hearing how they're the best refs in the world just ad nauseam and the reality of it is
23:00every fan that I know every you know I go to games I go to tons of games every fan I know
23:09thinks the NFL refs suck that they're awful I've never heard anyone say any of them are any good
23:16yesterday you told me the guy doing the Superbowl is a really good ref my ass I don't believe any
23:23of them are good I think they're all awful and what they should do is be lovers with baseball
23:28refs because they're even worse they're even worse so don't get me started I've already told you the
23:32best refs in sports are in the NHL for the most part I'd say 75% of the time the NHL refs call a
23:42good game and they let them play and they call obvious you know penalties and you know you see
23:50the refs make calls that the coaches scream and yell about here and there but I think that's 25%
23:55of the time in the NFL I go to games and I literally watch 90% of the calls are ass mustard
24:05they're just awful calls they can't even get replays right they can't do anything right they
24:10can't even manage the clock they're a disaster and I'm done with anything else I'm done with it
24:17I'm not going to sit and listen to it I watch it watching an NFL game is like getting your head
24:22bashed in with a hammer well and I think part of the thing you bring up the the NHL officials I
24:28think this stuff gets highlighted the most obviously in the biggest moments which is the
24:34playoffs and the NHL refs for the most part they let the guys play in the playoffs I mean it's
24:41notorious you never get calls in the third period and overtime things like that they let the players
24:46decide the game on the ice and I think that that's why we don't know the names of as many
24:53NHL referees I mean we sit here during the NBA playoffs I mean we're looking at oh this guy's
24:59reffing the game tonight or this guy we know the NBA refs right we know the we know the names of
25:05these NFL refs in the playoffs we know the umpires in baseball when they're in there we could you
25:11could fix these NHL refs out of a lineup uh because the and I know people will say that's
25:17because you guys watch hockey nobody else does we'll get that's not true because they don't
25:22determine the games in the biggest moments the players we don't know them players do and that's
25:27why Stanley Cups the hardest I mean boom mic drop spot there you go uh when you talk about uh guys
25:34who have a lot of pressure on them this weekend obviously we know Josh Allen legacy things like
25:40that needs to finally beat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs but I think you could put Sean McDermott
25:45uh hit that boat as well because he's also had several bites at the apple to try to finally get
25:51past these guys I watched this whole thing yesterday I watched McDermott a lot as you know
25:58he looks I don't know if it's just that he's focused or he's tight I don't know what it is
26:03but like he ain't having any of it this week in terms of the media you don't want to talk to nobody
26:08yeah we've got to take them one one game at a time just like the regular season
26:11and stick with our process and be consistent with it quite honestly
26:16considering the circumstances and mistakes this time I think when you know who you are
26:19and you know what works for for us it's a lot easier if you have to adjust things this time
26:25of year then then it then it gets more more difficult perhaps but we've been taking the
26:30same approach uh rather consistently all season no answer was over 15 to 20 seconds this is a guy
26:38that usually you know expounds and gives you a little something he wanted he was just very direct
26:43to the point quick wanted to get the hell out of there tight as a drum or laser focus you decide
26:49so uh one of the bills lineman has a plan uh for uh what's gonna happen here this weekend
26:56what's his plan well um it could be similar to mine i'm not really sure uh so there's obviously
27:02two scenarios for spencer brown bill's right tackle uh that could happen after this game on
27:07sunday night win or lose uh let's find out what his plans are in each scenario what would be like
27:13to win it's either gonna be super celebration party or me in a 24 pack by myself so that was
27:21the two ends of the spectrum boys gonna crush a 24 pack by himself if they lose the game that could
27:29be me as well so if they lose the game it could be a 24 pack in the corner uh that's a fantastic
27:36you know plan i mean he's got it all cornered i mean win and you're going to the super bowl
27:42lose and you crank a case i mean just spencer's already got you know what spence think about
27:49don't have that in your thought well you know we don't want you crushing the 24 pack we want the
27:53big celebration okay so don't worry save the crush of the 24 pack for me uh carloft is already second
28:00all-time in chief's history seven sacks in eight playoff games you gotta worry about him i would
28:05be very worried about him if i'm the buffalo bills they gotta keep that guy off of josh allen he'll
28:12be on his back and that'll be a problem hard to do but yes uh carloftis is one of the best in the
28:19business uh he's been excellent for kansas city all right allen verse my homes this year uh you
28:25know the numbers really uh on josh's side this year right i mean more uh just a few more yards
28:32but 41 touchdowns for josh 28 for my homes only eight giveaways for josh 11 for my homes uh josh
28:40really 13 and 3 you know i know he started the one game at the end of the year but either way
28:46very even very even yeah i you know i don't feel that way i think that it's clear to me that
28:55allen is better now he's just he's better he does more and i'll give you this i don't think that my
29:03homes has to do as much with this team and he's been rather dull offensively this year i i think
29:11because kansas city wins with defense that's it they're they're a defensive team special teams
29:20they don't make mistakes and turn the ball over and they run the ball down your throat and when
29:26they have to pass they do and they're you know very effective at it because he's so good he is
29:32a really great quarterback without a doubt but he hasn't had to do any of that flashy stuff this
29:39year because it's been so easy because of their uh prowess defensively i mean you know let's face
29:47facts the steelers in the 70s won with defense uh the bears in 85 i've mentioned this over and over
29:53and over the best teams that have ever played the game that have ever won superbowls in my view have
30:01all been great defensive teams and i think this kansas city dynasty is built on defense i think
30:08you know somebody had mentioned spags spagnola being a hall of famer as a assistant coach and
30:16i would i would agree that he should be in the hall of fame based on what he's done with defenses
30:20in kansas city he's the best defensive coordinator in the nfl bar none i think schwartz for my money
30:28uh is number two and then you can uh you know i think aaron glenn has done a great job in detroit
30:36but really let's face facts spagnola is better than all of them uh let's not forget either when
30:42you just when you talk about big picture uh with spags also was the dc for the giants that's right
30:49in those two superbowl wins so it's not just all the hardware with kansas city and his defense
30:56he was a hall of famer that that as well uh so that is absolutely uh friends with him he's a great
31:02guy he's he's a really great guy now obviously i knew him when he was in new york and i was friends
31:07with him and i've never really had those relationships with him since he's gone to
31:12live in that communist uh state he lives in now uh you talk about defense that means we talk about
31:20unders uh and the chief home games in the patrick beholmes era they shade to the under 42 27 and 1
31:2861 percent of chief home games with my homes have gone under the number i gotta tell you well you
31:34haven't talked a lot about the toll in this game i i think this week's the same i don't think this
31:40is a high scoring game i i think it's kind of like you know kind of like the bill raven game
31:46last week i think this game's 23 20 you know 2017 i think it's somewhere in that area
31:54well i mean uh listen i don't know what to think about the score of the game i just know that uh
32:00they're gonna have a lot harder time scoring against this defense than anyone they faced
32:06and i think that you know i don't i don't think that buffalo's defense is that great
32:13to be honest with you i think that uh i think their offense their quarterback is great i think
32:20that i think that josh allen he could literally uh in my view win the game by himself the way
32:27he runs the ball like his touchdown runs inside the red zone inside the five yard line in fourth
32:35and one situations and you know what i mean this guy is unstoppable he just does whatever he wants
32:42and gets away with it because he's so good he is dominant by himself he's gonna try to win this
32:48game i know he uses teammates i know he throws to all these different guys and they and i think
32:52cooks a good running back and everything else but i'm not uh overly blown away by their defense i
33:00i agree with you milano's good i don't deny that i think epines is good i think hamlin's good i
33:06think rap's good i but i've seen them frankly in my opinion mike i've seen him with better
33:12defenses in the last six years they're they're opportunistic is what they are they're a very
33:19opportunistic defense you know you can move the ball on them but if you make a mistake against
33:25them they've got guys out there who will turn the ball over that's why they had the best turnover
33:30it's part of why they had the best turnover margin this year they're a very opportunistic d and look
33:35both these teams have been pretty clean with the football maybe it doesn't come into play uh but
33:41that's where the bills d has been this year and they've played well against this team you know
33:45they they held them down pretty good in november when they played last year in the playoffs held
33:49in the low 20s so uh we shall see how it goes let's look at these teams and and see where they
33:55stand in the grand scheme of things in terms of super bowl wins yes uh for these four teams that

34:09kansas city three of them for washington one for the eagles and of course the bagel uh down there
34:18uh for the below uh the only ones that have not had the glory uh yet of the four remaining teams
34:24so there you go uh for that nobody wants to see kansas city get to five uh nobody would like to
34:30see that especially this year i think it's funny uh to be honest with you uh let's get real here
34:36for a second you know philadelphia acts like they've won 10 super bowls that's it yeah they
34:44actually act like they've won 10 super bowls they've won one super bowl and they did it with
34:48that hack-ass foals who i also said was better than hertz but the reality is they've won one
34:56super bowl now god bless them you got a ring you got a ring you're in i don't i don't judge anybody
35:02there's one one but uh you know we've had these arguments on this air with others about super
35:09bowls and like i had a real problem with tom brady getting number seven i had a real problem with the
35:15patriots getting number six i have a real problem with the 49ers keep trying to get number six and
35:22failing uh at five i want nothing more than them to never win another one and i enjoyed every minute
35:28of their miserable season this year i just wanted to say that for those uh wine and cheese cracker
35:33eating thumbs and i'll tell you another thing uh the steelers have been to eight and they have six
35:38lombardis you got six lombardis i got a picture of me at the super bowl last year in the nfl experience
35:45with those giant helmets they had everywhere and i just held up six fingers when you got six like
35:52the patriots and stealers you're badass you're badass when you got one god bless you the bills
36:00need to win a super bowl this has gone on long enough and uh kansas city with four now the first
36:07one was in 69 and now they've got these three they get another one you're looking at five and they're
36:14creeping on the niners and cowboys uh they're getting closer to the stealers and the patriots
36:21i can't have can't have it indeed uh i can't have it either uh i want the team without one
36:29to finally get their first one uh let them join the party uh up there with everybody else all
36:33right the nfl announced the finalists for all their big awards uh today uh we kind of know who's
36:41going to win some of these but they give you five finalists anyway uh i guess just to make people uh
36:47get all jazzed up about it right uh mvp allen barkley burrow goff and lamar jackson
36:55offensive player of the year barkley burrow chase derrick henry and lamar jackson defensive
37:02player of the year patrick sirtan trey hendrickson miles garrett dj watt and zach bond
37:10offensive rookie of the year jayden daniels he's gonna win by the way uh brock bowers malik
37:15neighbors bo nicks and brian thomas jr coach of the year dan campbell kevin o'connell sean payton
37:22uh dan quinn and andy reed comeback player of the year joe burrow sam darnold jk dobbins
37:29damar amlin and christian gonzalez uh your finalists so they don't none of it includes
37:35the playoffs so you can't give dan quinn the coach of the year for what he's pulled off
37:42and gotten them to the uh title game you can't do it so it's already been
37:47decided i think campbell's gonna get it because they went you know 15 wins that's it done deal
37:53meanwhile yeah but they choked on the hog again in the playoffs well dan can't right and and look
38:00i think that people think this is either going to be campbell or kevin o'connell i think that
38:05most people think it's going to be kevin o'connell a lot of people you know their win total preseason
38:10is that 15 games why is it kevin o'connell uh because a lot of times and i i look at this a
38:18little differently also a lot of times people think who did the most uh from what they were
38:23expected vikings win total before the season was six and a half they weren't supposed to be
38:28a 10 11 12 13 14 win team he wins 14 games like for me if i had to pick those five
38:35i personally would pick sean payton because i like giving it to a coach and actually dan
38:40quinn too i would pick either quinn or payton i pick a coach that takes a team that everyone
38:46said had no shot at the beginning of the year of making the playoff commanders and makes the
38:50playoffs yes commanders denver i don't think either of those teams people thought would be
38:56there and that's why i think quinn does maybe uh have some stand uh to make it
