00:00Several agencies are involved in the budget review.

00:04Today, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. is with us to discuss how their projects will be implemented this year.

00:14In Batala, Malacanang confirmed that a former official was appointed by the President of Executive Clemency, Clayzel Pardilla, in Centro ng Balita Live.

00:28President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and the Ministry of Education will discuss the budget execution of the Department of Migrant Workers, MMVA, and other government agencies today.

00:42This is a long-term goal to implement the projects of government agencies from the funds obtained from the General Appropriations Act or Pampansang Pondo this year.

00:55The Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Justice, Department of Education, and other government agencies are the first to participate in the budget execution review.

01:06Meanwhile, today, Malacanang announced that President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. was appointed by Executive Clemency, the former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mapilog.

01:17It was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, and the good governance and privileges received by Iloilo City under the leadership of the former Mayor.

01:30The President decided to grant the request of former Mayor of Iloilo City, Jed Mapilog, because he pleaded that his liabilities or disabilities under that decision of the old Mayor, Jed Mapilog,

01:58should be expunged because he was forced by circumstances to go to another jurisdiction and to stay away from the Philippines for some time.

02:13And we found justification in his declarations, in his explanations.

02:22It can be remembered that in 2017, Jed Mapilog was imprisoned after the guilt of Ombudsman was proven in the case of Serious Dishonesty,

02:31which was based on the case filed in 2013 because of the inexplicable increase of his wealth, which is worth more than 8 million pesos.

02:40Jed Mapilog was also accused by former President Rodrigo Duterte as a major drug protector and included in the list of drug watch list.

02:50He became a threat to the life of Jed Mapilog and his country's independence.

02:55In spite of this, the actions of Jed Mapilog were recognized by the Palace,

02:59as he was accepted by Iloilo City as a livable city from the National Competitiveness Council of the Philippines,

03:06and he was even awarded the PIDEA for his anti-illegal drive in 2016.

03:13In a post, Jed Mapilog thanked President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

03:18He confirmed that there is justice and that it will give a new hope not only to Jed Mapilog but also to his family.
