00:18were buried at Mount Carmel Shrine, New Manila, Quezon City.

00:21Tomorrow, his body will be brought to their home in Sogod, Bacacay, Albay

00:25to give a chance to your fellow countrymen to give respect.

00:28There will be a necrological service in the lower part of the congress in February 5.

00:33After this, a tribute program will be given to your former fellow countrymen.

00:37His last rites will be in Loyola Memorial Park, Marikina on February 10

00:41after the funeral mass at Mount Carmel Shrine at 8.30 in the morning.

00:45Instead of flowers, his family is asking for donations

00:49for the restoration and repair of St. John the Baptist Parish Church in Tabaco City,

00:53a national cultural treasure destroyed by the Rolling Storm in 2020.

00:57Lagman served in the congress for 29 years,

01:00from 1987 to 1998, 2004 to 2013, and 2016 to 2025.

01:06He is the one who signed several important laws

01:08that gave protection and rights to your fellow countrymen,

01:11including the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act,

01:14Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, and others.

01:17He also helped in initiatives like the Reinstitution of Absolute Divorce,

01:21Prevention of Teenage Pregnancy, Protection of Human Rights Defenders,

01:25and Prohibition of Red-Tagging.

01:26He is a scholar and defender of human rights.

01:29Lagman also completed his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws

01:33at the University of the Philippines.
