00:00Hello. Well, there was plenty of cloud around through Saturday, but as we head into Sunday
00:05in the southeast, we should see a good deal of sunshine. Now, take a look at the bigger
00:09picture then. We have higher pressure out towards the east, a squeeze in the ice bars
00:13as well as this frontal system on Sunday to bring some rain. Then it's a north-west-south-east
00:19split, so a squeeze in the ice bars on Monday, giving breezier conditions. Then we have this
00:24weather front that will gradually clear its way through on Tuesday, bringing spells of
00:29rain. And then into Wednesday and Thursday, we'll start to see higher pressure building.
00:34So a good deal of sunshine to come on Wednesday, perhaps even with some wintry showers moving
00:40through across parts of Scotland. But let's get back to the end of today. So a cloudy
00:46picture, especially across the southwest England into Wales and northern parts of England.
00:52Outbreaks of rain across Northern Ireland, so turning wet and windy here and into parts
00:57of Scotland as well. But across the far south and east, that's where we will see clearest
01:03skies tonight and temperatures quickly falling away. So a touch of frost in places as we
01:09start Sunday morning across East Anglia and the southeast of England. So a chilly but
01:15bright start across the southeast of England, especially compared to Saturday. So plenty
01:20of brightness coming through into the morning and into the afternoon. But out towards the
01:25west, this band of cloud and rain will continue to move its way through as it meets the higher
01:30pressure, though it generally will start weakening. So start to see patchy rain generally fizzling
01:35out across much of northwestern England into parts of Wales and the southwest of England
01:40to turning much drier and brighter across Northern Ireland and western Scotland as we
01:46end Sunday. As for temperatures, though, it will be around average for the time of year,
01:52but it should be feeling pleasant where you do get any sunny spells. So as we go through
01:58Sunday evening, then the cloud and rain will generally still linger across much of England
02:04and Wales, but the rain should peter out for a time across much of Scotland, turning windier
02:09here with outbreaks of rain, especially across the Western Isles, with the clearest skies
02:14really confined to East Anglia and the southeast of England. Here, temperatures will once again
02:20quickly fall away. It's a touch of frost to start the morning commute, but elsewhere
02:26generally staying frost free. So as we start Monday morning, some bright spells across
02:31the far southeast, but much of England and Wales should see a largely dry picture on
02:36Monday. There'll be a few showers across the south, perhaps even some bright or hazy spells
02:41of sunshine developing. But across parts of Scotland, especially western Scotland, we
02:47will see heavy spells of rain at times turning quite persistent too, and a similar picture
02:52across parts of Northern Ireland with outbreaks of rain here. As for temperatures, though,
02:58ranging around 9 to even 11 degrees, so a mild picture, especially along the northwest,
03:04but it will be windier here too. So that's all from me for now, but make sure to hit
03:10subscribe so you don't miss any updates, and I'll see you soon. Bye bye.
