  • yesterday

00:00The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission has admitted that they are having a hard time
00:05to track down the former members of the big illegal POGO who have broken up the operation.
00:10There is also a threat to those who are building their facilities for illegal activities.
00:15Ivan Mayrena has been pointed out.
00:21On the last day, for the volunteers who are working for the POGO to voluntarily submit their working visas,
00:27only P12,000 have submitted their voluntary downgrading based on the latest report of the Bureau of Immigration.
00:33The working visas of those who submitted will be replaced by temporary visitor visas
00:37and they will be given 59 days or almost 2 months to leave the country.
00:42The legal reason for leaving the country will not be blacklisted.
00:47We'll still have the opportunity to come back to the Philippines for legal reasons.
00:51Those who will leave the country and do not comply with the policies of our government will be deported and blacklisted.
01:01But how will the illegal POGO workers who did not comply with the deadline solve this issue?
01:05It's not that easy, according to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission or PAOC.
01:09If the legal POGO members are only 37,
01:12there are more than 100 illegal POGO members who continue to operate in the former part of the closed big POGO.
01:18There are also former Pinoy POGO workers who continued the scamming operation against the Chinese, according to the PAOC.
01:25The real threat is that there are a lot of people who are underground.
01:29There are a good number of them and we're having difficulty catching up.
01:35The solution, according to the PAOC, aside from the assistance of government agencies,
01:40is the cooperation of the communities that will serve as eyes and ears of the government
01:44The POGO members are trying their best to comply with the President's order.
01:48Along with this call, the property owners will be warned that the operators may be fined and their properties will be subject to illegal POGO operations.
01:57Please make sure that you do your due diligence because if we prove that you allow your facilities to be used for illegal activities,
02:06we will lock you up. We will file a civil forfeiture to get your properties from the government.
