00:00I mean confidence levels have dropped drastically. The confidence that Walsall were playing with
00:08when they were on that nine-match winning streak just felt like they couldn't be stopped.
00:18Since that 3-0 setback at Bradford, they've just looked a shadow of the team which we've
00:23seen for so much of this season. Players who were in blistering form previously, the likes
00:30of Conor Barrett, who early in the season looked like a superb buy and still is, but
00:38just struggling for form at the minute, not quite looking the same player that he did
00:42a few weeks back. The same can probably be said for Ryan Stirk, being that sort of composed
00:49head in the sitting role and key to the way in which the Sadlers function. He's another
00:58one that's struggling for form of late. Even Liam Gordon, someone who's been so reliable,
01:07looked like he was running on empty the other night, not quite that same energy down the
01:11left-hand side. Just really a combination of confidence and energy levels looking low
01:19and low. When I spoke to Matt Sadler after the game, he said that he won't be changing
01:25things radically. A piece went out on Express and Star from those comments late last night.
01:35It makes sense not to change things radically because this team has propelled Walsall to
01:40the top of the table. It does feel like things need freshening up. I would be intrigued to
01:46see how he goes about doing that against Chesterfield on Saturday.
