00:00I don't know what this means. If you listened yesterday, we had a dude, Daryl writer from
00:05Cleveland on who said he believes there's about a 60% chance miles Garrett gets traded.
00:12And if he does get traded, he thinks it happens to the NFC, right? Yep. Um, if you believe
00:22in the power of betting markets and many do, um, commanders are at the top of the list.
00:30I'll take it. This is via draft Kings via the new. I'm going to wait. No, I'll get my
00:35hopes up. Yeah. Commanders at, at plus three 50, then the Eagles right behind them at plus
00:42500 and then stay. I don't need them getting him. So I'm curious. I got asked this last
00:46night on all ears. Um, does Philly's reported interest mean Washington have to, has to
00:56be more aggressive?
00:57I don't know. I bet my question is how much money does Philly have to spend? Yeah, here.
01:03So here's what's Philly has done really well. They are kicking the can on a lot of contracts,
01:12but everybody is still playing. Well, where you get really screwed is when you backload
01:18a lot of deals and then those guys suck, but they owe lots of guys, lots of money, but
01:24they're all still performing. They've generally gotten younger players. What year is Jalen
01:28in Philly right now has about 14 million capsules. That's not enough. Get him. Depends what you
01:34move around. Jalen is from a contract perspective. So Jalen is 20 is going to be 27 this season,
01:46uh, 42 million guarantees, but his cap number is about $22 million, nothing out of whack
01:53for a quarterback. Um, next year that jumps to a $22 million guarantee, a $32 million
02:03cap number that jumps to 11%. But generally the rule of thumb is a quarterback salary
02:09could be 10, 13% of your cap. I'm saying was Jalen was, uh, age eight, uh, Brown. What's
02:17what's, uh, Devante. So the two highest guarantees on their Eagles roster are Jalen and then
02:25AJ Brown between the two of them this year. Um, their cap number is about 40 mil roughly.
02:31Right. You're not getting rid of either of those this year. Um, Lane Johnson, Josh sweat,
02:38Josh sweats avoid year. He's going to be a free agent, whether they can get them to stick
02:41around. Um, I mean, maybe you can figure something out with a guy like Jordan, my Lada, who has
02:47a $19 million guarantee. Um, what's it's wild to look at the Saquon number. Jalen Carter,
02:56Jalen Carter has a less than $3 million cap figure.
03:02I'm sorry. That's his guaranteed. What's what's Saquon
03:05Saquon's deal is incredibly affordable, dude. Uh, Saquon has 11 mil guaranteed this upcoming
03:12season and he's a little over 7 million on the cap. And then the following year he has 1.5
03:19guaranteed. And even though he got paid by Philly for the market, the, the value delivered
03:28versus, you know, the cost is unbelievable, unbelievable. Um, but that's where you hit
03:36man. When you get those guys, like you said, still playing well, and that's what they got
03:40to figure it out. You just reminded me of something. Mackay Becton, some, uh, commander's
03:44fans have said, Hey, check him out. He's going to be a free agent. I thought this was so funny.
03:48My boy, John Clark covers the Eagles up in Philly. He had the, so I guess the parade for
03:53the Eagles is today. And my guy back then said, I'm going to be drunker than I've ever been in my
03:58life. And that's the right way to approach it, man. Yeah. Do you think the Eagles are a real
04:05threat or how he just wants to run the cost up on anybody else?
