Maybe the editor didn't catch these truly bizarre moments, or maybe it was the best take they had in spite of the accident, but they all led to a few laughs. From the truly weird animal moment in Mr. Nanny to the cowboy who pops up in a pirate movie, let's take a look at some of the strangest things that were accidentally filmed in movie backgrounds.

00:00Usually, what you see in a movie was put there on purpose.
00:06But not always.
00:07We've already covered strange things accidentally included in the background of movies, such
00:11as the unzipped extra in Teen Wolf, the head-bonking Stormtrooper in Star Wars, and a parked car
00:16in Braveheart, all of which and more you can find in our video 20 Movie Mistakes You Never
00:21Noticed.
00:22But here are five more background bloopers you can still catch on screen.
00:25Think fast
00:26There's an amazing moment in Being John Malkovich.
00:29While the scene calling for Malkovich to get hit with a can seems to have been planned,
00:37the think fast line apparently wasn't.
00:39Director Spike Jonze said in an audio commentary that a bunch of extras working on the film
00:43snuck a case of beer on set and were getting pretty lit.
00:47The director added that the line the can thrower yelled as the car zoomed past earned him his
00:51Screen Actors Guild card, bumping his pay from $100 a day to $700.
00:56Not a bad way to earn a raise.
00:58Hazard pay
00:59During a key scene in The Last Samurai, Tom Cruise's character arrives on horseback for
01:03the film's epic final battle.
01:05As Cruise dismounts from his horse, the animal can actually be seen kicking one of the extras
01:10in the groin.
01:11Instead of dropping to the ground and crying, the extra simply takes a step back, reacts
01:15silently, and regroups in formation.
01:19Samurai are known for being disciplined.
01:21This guy went the extra mile.
01:22A random cowboy
01:24Nobody watching Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl could have expected
01:28what went down in its final scene.
01:30After reclaiming the Black Pearl, Captain Jack Sparrow orders his merry band of pirates
01:34to get to work on the deck.
01:36Just as they begin to move, a man wearing a white t-shirt and a cowboy hat can be spotted
01:41in the background, looking off into distant waters.
01:44Was this mysterious man's cameo a secret Easter egg, or perhaps a character to be introduced
01:49in the sequels?
01:50No, he was supposedly just a grip crew member who forgot to clear the set during filming.
01:54Frady Cat
01:55Classic Bond villain Blofeld's white Persian cat is a pretty creepy customer in You Only
01:59Live Twice.
02:00The furry creature loses a bit of luster when it legitimately freaks out during one of the
02:04explosion scenes towards the end of the film.
02:06Donald Pleasence, who played Blofeld, does his best to keep the cat clutched tightly
02:10to his body.
02:11But for a few brief moments, the camera captures the frantic feline scrambling to the nearest
02:15possible exit.
02:16It's safe to say the cat was both shaken and stirred.
02:20Dog Days
02:21Remember the early 90s, when pro wrestler Hulk Hogan attempted a movie career?
02:25It didn't work.
02:26In fact, the only reason anyone talks about his 1993 feature Mr. Nanny has nothing to
02:31do with the Hulkster.
02:32While Hogan tools around on his motorcycle, the camera captures one of the most bizarre
02:36sights in cinema.
02:38Your eyes aren't playing tricks on you.
02:39Some random dude threw a dog into the ocean.
02:42Why?
02:43Who is he?
02:44Did the dog stink or something?
02:45Was the motorcycle-riding montage so important that this footage needed to stay in the final
02:49cut?
02:50The only other question is what makes Hulk Hogan prouder?
02:53Riding his motorcycle in front of a dog being thrown in the ocean?
02:56Or that time he opened a pasta restaurant in the Mall of America for some reason?
02:59"...Pasta Mania has got all my Hulkamaniacs running wild, and I've eaten so many Hulkaroos
03:05and Hulkyous, I kind of feel sorry for Big Bubba, brother."
