00:00So today at Rubin Ranchers we have the inaugural event of the Dubai Chinese Golf Association.

00:07It is an association that is mainly focused on the Chinese golfing population in Dubai

00:12because we have identified there's no golf leagues for Chinese in Dubai and we want to

00:16incorporate that into the UAE.

00:20We decided to set up this organization and we decided to make this a non-profit to be

00:25more inclusive and of course foreigners are welcome.

00:28We came today actually and everybody was laughing, talking, having fun.

00:34So we have about, if I'm not wrong, 8 groups, 32 adults and about 24 children, so around

00:4156 in total.

00:43Very inclusive.

00:45Even if you don't win, you're here to have fun.

00:50We got a bit more sponsors this year which meant that we were able to organize a larger

00:55event and incorporate more participants into it.

01:00Everybody's just here to have a great time with each other.

01:02We have some prizes.

01:03You know at the end of the day they're going to enjoy a pretty big dinner so everybody's

01:07going to be happy.

01:10My vision when I started this is generally to promote youth sports here in the UAE and

01:15Dubai in particular.

01:17I aim to develop this DCGA over the next few years, have more events, have more exciting

01:24prizes, hopefully get more sponsors, move into different golf courses, potentially organize

01:29specific divisions as well, not just according to their age but to their skill set as well.

01:36I also aim to develop this organization into different sports but that's for the future.
