Fresh Emirati talent sought jobs at private companies at the latest edition of the monthly ‘Open Career Days in Neighbourhood Councils’ today, held in Umm Suqeim area in Dubai.
Also known as Majlis, the initiative is organised by the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Nafis programme and the Dubai Community Development Authority (CDA).

01:09We do technical hard services which is AC, lighting, these kinds of things, but we also

01:22get to meet in the course of our every day recruitment.
01:29Today I am doing a lot of interviews with different companies, have given me a lot of
01:33experience with the companies and what they are looking for, also looking for my passion.
01:37My passion currently is accounting, where I am studying accounting and I have seen a
01:41lot of job interviews where they are looking for accountants and other sorts of things.
01:47And also other things that they are looking for, like for customer interaction, where
01:50I am happy to do it with them.
01:53Everything is doing great, everything is helpful, everyone is trying to get to know you better
01:59for them to hire you at the best of your interests.
02:02I came here because I am looking for a part time job to enhance my skills, because I think
02:09looking for other skills than your major is something that will help you future wise.
02:15I want to gain experience, like even working with people, improving my communication skills
02:22for future wise, I think it will help me a lot.
