00:00Just weeks ahead of the Lok Sabha election and the opposition camp is in complete disarray.
00:09At the centre of that disarray is the largest opposition party in the country, the Congress.
00:15Not only has seed-sharing pacts with most of its allies fallen through, the Congress
00:19is also seeing yet another exodus of senior leaders, the latest being Ashok Chavan, the
00:24former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, who continues to be a popular mass leader.
00:29Now, in all of this, the Prime Minister has made a subtle shift in his attack on the opposition.
00:34We've seen him lately not going after the India Alliance as a whole, as he used to,
00:39but rather focusing his attack on the Congress party and the Gandhi family in particular.
00:45This is because the BJP knows that the Congress is the weakest link in the opposition camp
00:49and Mr Modi would certainly like to frame this battle for 2024 as one that pitches him
00:56against Rahul Gandhi, that pitches him against the dynasts of the Congress party.
01:02In the next few weeks, unless the Congress and the opposition are able to get their act
01:07together somehow, it's clearly advantage Modi and advantage BJP.
