00:00Good morning and live from the Pag-asao Weather Forecasting Center.

00:05This is the current time of the week, February 23, 2025.

00:10In our latest satellite images, we can see the continuous effect of the northeast monsoon.

00:15We expect that in the next few days, the northeast monsoon will intensify again

00:20which could cause a big wave of the sea

00:24and it's still possible that the temperature will get a bit cooler,

00:27particularly in some parts of the city.

00:29That's why we're hoping for a cloudy sky with rain,

00:33especially in the eastern section of Luzon,

00:37such as Valley Region, Cordillera, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol.

00:41Meanwhile, you can still see the shear line,

00:44this is the hot and cold wind that will bring clouds.

00:48You can see here in the part of Palawan,

00:50there's still a big chance of rain, especially in the southern part of Palawan.

00:54This is also the case in a large part of Cabizayaan, especially the eastern Visayas.

00:59We also have an easterly,

01:01this is the wind from the Pacific Ocean

01:03and it will bring a cloudy sky with rain

01:06in the eastern part of Mindanao,

01:09such as Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi,

01:12along with the Sarangani area.

01:18inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility

01:21based on our latest data.

01:23For the next few days, there's a high chance of a typhoon

01:28inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:32here in the eastern part of Luzon and Mindanao,

01:34it's possible that it will still be a hot and cold day

01:37with a chance of a light rain

01:39from the afternoon to the evening.

01:42Here in Luzon, and this is where we expect the weather to be,

01:45there's still a high chance of a cloudy sky with rain,

01:50especially in the Cagayan Valley Region, Cordillera, Baguio,

01:55where there's still a chance of a light rain.

01:59It's the same in Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol Regions.

02:03In the southern part of Luzon,

02:05we expect generally fair weather

02:07with the potential of isolated light rain.

02:11In the southern part of Ilocos Region, Central Luzon,

02:14Mimaropa, Calabarzon, and Metro Manila.

02:19It's possible that it will still be a hot and cold day.

02:23The outside temperature is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:27In Tugagarao, it's 21 to 29 degrees Celsius.

02:30In Baguio, it's 15 to 24 degrees Celsius.

02:32In Metro Manila, it can reach 31 or 32 degrees Celsius.

02:36In Tagaytay, it's 21 to 28 degrees Celsius.

02:39While in Legazpi, it's 24 to 29 degrees Celsius.

02:44And here in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,

02:46near the shoreline, there's still a chance of rain.

02:50In Palawan, the outside temperature is 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.

02:56In Puerto Princesa, it's 26 to 30 degrees Celsius.

03:01Visayas, especially the eastern section of Visayas,

03:04will experience rain near the shoreline.

03:07And again, in the southern part of Cabizayaan,

03:10the outside temperature is 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

03:15In Cebu, it's 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

03:17While in Tacloban, it's 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

03:22And here in Mindanao, we're also hoping that

03:24the sky will be cloudy and that there's a chance

03:27that there's a chance that there will be heavy rains

03:29in the Zamboanga Peninsula,

03:32Basilan, Sulu-Tawi-Tawi, as well as in Sarangani, Davao Region, and Caraga.
