00:00Good morning, this is an update on the situation in Baguio-Leon.
00:10At the moment, Baguio-Leon is still in the East Philippine Sea.
00:15As of 4 o'clock in the early morning, the distance between Baguio-Leon and Central Luzon is 840 kilometers.
00:24The strong wind in the middle of the region is still strong, reaching up to 85 kilometers per hour,
00:32while the wind is blowing at 105 kilometers per hour.
00:38We are still hoping that it will move towards northern Luzon.
00:44But it is moving slowly.
00:46Now, we are hoping that it will reach 10 kilometers per hour.
00:57It is still below the tropical cyclone wind signal number 1 in the eastern portion of Cagayan,
01:06eastern portion of Isabela, and northeastern portion of Cataduanes.
01:11Based on our forecast track, it is possible that it will approach the Batanes area on Wednesday and Thursday.
01:24On Friday, the center of Baguio-Leon could landfall in Taiwan.
01:31We are still hoping that Baguio-Leon will be strong because Baguio-Leon is in the sea.
01:43Maybe this afternoon, it will be strong and will become a severe tropical storm category.
01:51Today, we are hoping that strong winds will blow in Batangas, as well as in a large portion of Mimaropa,
02:02a large portion of Bicol region, Bung Bisayas, a large portion of Northern Mindanao, and a large portion of Carraga region.
02:12At the moment, the Baguio extension area, or what we call trough,
02:19is reaching or affecting the northern portion of Southern Luzon, Bung Bisayas, and Mindanao.
02:27Because of this, it is expected that there will be heavy rains and thunderstorms in the mentioned areas.
02:34For now, we are not seeing heavy rains.
