00:00Full-time here at Goodson Park and usually a 2-2 draw in years gone by against Manchester
00:07United would be a good result but Everton are left to root, drop and two points definitely.
00:15They were by far the better side against an ailing Manchester United outfit and Everton
00:21supporters will come away thinking how have we won that game today because Everton for
00:2672 minutes were in full control and they just couldn't see out the game.
00:35They allowed Man United to get back into it and Man United for all of their struggles have still
00:40got some real quality players and they produced two real quality moments to get back into the
00:46game. As I say Everton were fantastic in the first half, United were all over the place,
00:51Everton were turning the screw and took the lead, Beto yet again a fifth goal in four
00:57Premier League matches for the striker who's really found form under David Moyes since his
01:02return. Man United didn't clear the corner away, put back into the box by Abdelaziz
01:09Okorre and Beto with a little bit of a scruffy finish but it found its way to the back of the
01:14net. Everton kept putting on the pressure and they were 2-0 up before the break,
01:20Abdelaziz Okorre was excellent, he really sweep a move, nice ball from Jesper Lindstrom
01:28to the run of Beto, Beto plays across to Jack Harrison, his effort was saved by Andre Onana
01:35but Abdelaziz Okorre showed real desire to get to the ball first ahead of Harry Maguire and
01:41Hesholm. You thought from there Everton were going to be fairly comfortable in the second
01:45half, chances, they didn't create an awful lot of golden chances, Abdelaziz Okorre had one
01:53put in from Jake O'Brien, Beto had a headache but Man United had a little open in the 72nd minute,
02:02Okorre gave away a free kick because of handball and Bruno Fernandes who's one of the rare beacons
02:11of life for Man United, stuffed home the free kick after his first one had hit the hands of
02:20Okorre and eight minutes later, ten minutes ago, Man United got the second through Manuel Lugati,
02:27a really good swipe on the edge of the box. But Everton rallied and they thought in stoppage
02:33time they had an opening to win the game because Ashley Young went to ground,
02:42it looked like he was tugged by Manuel De Ligt and went down from Harry Maguire.
02:47Referee Andy Madley went to the penalty spot,
02:50pointed to the penalty spot and then BAR intervened and told him to go to Pixar monitor.
02:54He looked at the incident again and overturned the decision, muffs the frustration of the
02:58sports but the controversy was that the Premier League were marking the statement that it was
03:04the foul from Maguire on Ashley Young when it looked like it was De Ligt who in fact
03:11was the one who tugged the shirt so a real strange one there that Everton might want to get cleared
03:17up. It's disappointing but it's now six games in the Premier League unbeaten under David Moyes,
03:24another point towards safety, he said look Everton are safe, let's be honest, it's about
03:29climbing the table now. Some really good performances there, Idrissa Garner gave us
03:34exceptional in the field, he covers every blade of grass, James Garner was very good,
03:39De Corey was good, Beto again, Jared Bramquite was an absolute rock at the back,
03:46a lot of good signs and now we have to turn the attention to
03:50going to Bremerton on Wednesday and then there's Everton too, Man United too.
