00:00Philippine Ambassador to the United States, Jose Manuel Romualdez believes that humanitarian aid will continue in the country especially in terms of health and education.
00:11According to Romualdez, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio talked to DFA Secretary Enrique Manalo and he assured that America will continue to support health and education in the Philippines.
00:25Romualdez said that the U.S. only asked for a short period of time for it to be fulfilled.
00:31First, the U.S. advised the DFA that some parts of the Philippines were exempted from the 90-day foreign assistance ban.
00:39The Ambassador confirmed that he was given a waiver of $336 million in security aid for the country.
